专利摘要:
Method of assessing the effect of periodic inversions of current polarity in electrochemical processes. The method comprises the reading and recording of the variation of the shape and magnitude of the current, the variation of the voltage, the variation of the active internal resistance, and the variation of the electrode potentials during the forward and inverse current intervals and during the transitional regimes of current polarity inversion.

PROCESSES
Iooretion relates to a method for determining the effect of periodic changes in current polarity in electrochemical processes, applicable in the electroformation of battery plates, starter, traction and armored battery batteries, electrochemical oxidation of sorbose diacetone in vitamin C production, industrial water electrochemical treatment and electroplating. .
There is a method of accelerated electroforming of battery plates using direct current, periodically changing its polarity, by which, after turning on the current, the positive electrode is electrochemically oxidized and the negative electrode is restored, and after it is turned off, the percentage of sponge lead and lead dioxide is counted.
The disadvantage of this method is that it is necessary to carry out the entire electrochemical process, which often lasts for tens of hours. In addition, the effect is established by the additional use of chemical analysis methods to determine the content of spongy lead and lead dioxide. At the same time, electrochemical processes and methods for accounting for the effect are laborious, quite lengthy in time, and additional specific equipment is necessary for conducting chemical analyzes, and the conditions and parameters of repeatability electrochemical systems are difficult to create.
The purpose of the invention is the creation of a simplified method for determining the effect of periodic changes in the polarity of current in electrochemical processes, in accordance with which it would be significantly reduced time.
This goal is achieved by taking into account and recording from E 907642 4 a change in the shape and magnitude of the current of the electric and discharge current. The ctric voltage, active internal resistance, and electrode potentials immediately change during current intervals in the forward and reverse directions and during transient conditions when the current polarity is reversed.
The advantage of the current is that it is sufficient to measure one of the monitored parameters and take into account its change in order to establish its effect on the electrochemical process. Changing the controlled parameters can be easily and quickly recorded with an ordinary recording apparatus and, accordingly, it is immediately possible to establish their effect on electrochemical processes under conditions of different current magnitudes in one and the other direction, different concentrations of electrolyte and solutions, and various current shapes.
The method is as follows. 25
Three positive and four negative battery plates are sealed, placed in molding baths loaded with a solution of sulfuric acid with a density of 1,100 d / cm a direct current is passed, periodically changing its polarity with a period of forming current of 1 min and a period of discharge current of 5 s. After 2 to 3 cycles of formation and discharge, the change in current or voltage during the periods of the time-forming periods of the generating and discharge current is automatically recorded and the change in the controlled 5 parameters is recorded and analyzed, which automatically shows the effect of the change in the polarity of the current and, more specifically, the duration of the discharge and forming current on change in resistance 10 in the molding baths. The change in the forming current, discharge current, and active internal resistance is taken into account as a function of the change in the period of the forming current, the period of the discharge current, the shape of the transient modes, or the shape of the applied current is carried out immediately under the same parameters of the electrochemical system, active mass of the same chemical composition, one and the same forming current, the same arrangement of electrodes.

The method is carried out as follows. Three positive and four negative battery plates are sealed, placed in molding baths loaded with a solution of sulfuric acid with a density of 1,100 d / cm, permeable current is passed through, periodically changing its polarity with a period of formative current of 1 minute and a period of discharge current of 5 s . After 2 3 cycles of formation and discharge, a change in current or voltage is automatically recorded during periods of forming and discharge current. The time of the periods of the shaping and discharging currents is immediately changed, and the change in the monitored parameters is recorded and analyzed, which automatically shows the influence of the polarity of the current and, more specifically, the duration of the discharging and shaping current on the change in active resistance in the molding baths. The change in the forming current, the discharge current and the active internal resistance as a function of the change in the period of the forming current, the period of the discharge current, the shape of the transient modes, or the form of the applied current is taken into account immediately under the conditions of the same parameters of the electrochemical system 4y, the active mass of the same chemical composition, the same shaping current, the same arrangement of electrodes. Claims The method of determining the effect of a periodic polarity reversal in electrochemical processes, characterized in that changes in the shape and magnitude of the electric current, active internal resistance, and electrode potentials during current intervals in the forward and reverse directions and during transient regimes when changing the polarity of the current.
