A fuel injection arrangement for an internal combustion engine having a cylinder head comprises a fuel injection device located against a step in a borein the cylinder head. The device includes a valve member which is spring loaded to a closed position but which is opened by fuel under pressure which flows through an inlet. The device is retained against the step in the bore by a member having a head and a shank portion the latter being in screw thread enlargement in the bore. The shank portion defines a surface to engage an enlargement on the fuel supply pipe and the enlargement also engages surface formed on the device adjacent the inlet. The member therefore serves to retain the pipe in sealing engagement with the inlet and also retains the device in position within the bore.

A disadvantage of the apparatus is the complexity of its attachment to the engine.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify the design.
This goal is achieved by the fact that the locking element is made with an external thread to secure the fuel injection device on the cylinder head of the engine.
FIG. 1 shows fuel-injecting equipment, the end of the fuel line is clamped between the housing and the end of the locking element; in fig. 2, however, the housing of the fuel-injecting device is located inside the locking element; in fig. 3 shows a variant for securing the seat in the body of the fuel injection device.
The apparatus contains a fuel-injected device mounted in the cylinder 1 with a housing
0 2 having a saddle 3 and a valve element 4 slidable within the housing 2 and cooperating with its saddle to control the amount of fuel supplied, and the fuel actuator 5 with a hundred porous element 6 connected to the fuel injection device and having an expanded end portion 7. Installation of fuel injection
5 of the apparatus on the engine is carried out as follows.
First, the fuel injection device is installed in the cylinder 1 of the engine to the stop

by screwing the locking element b into the head 1, the injecting fuels are mounted on the engine and the joint of the fuel line 5 is sealed. with housing 2.
Thus, the simultaneous fixing of the fuel-injection device on the engine and the sealing of the junction of the fuel drive with the housing simplifies the design.
