    A composite web comprises a film of plastics or other material laminated to a reinforcing layer formed by a network of tapes which extend in zigzag fashion back and forth across the laminating film with their points of reversal within the confines of the film edges so as to be covered by the film. If there are two equally wide laminating films, one on each face of the reinforcing tape layer, the films may be offset to overlap one another laterally and the width of the tape layer exceeds that of each film by the amount of overlap, whereby the points of reversal of the tapes are covered by one of the films along one longitudinal edge of the web and by the other film along the other longitudinal edge of the web.

    (54) TAPE FOR PACKAGES
    This invention relates to multilayer packaging tape. A known packaging tape consisting of two superimposed film strips, between which reinforcing elements bent at an angle are fixed. In the known tape, the turning points of the reinforcing elements are outside the indicated bands and form loops l. The use of bags made of this tape is difficult, since loops cling to various objects, which can cause damage to the bag. The purpose of the invention is to increase the strength of the tape for packaging. For this, reinforcing elements are fixed on one of the strips so that their bending points are placed on the latter along its edge. Film strips can be placed laterally offset one relative to another. Figure 1 shows a packaging tape, top view; in fig. 2 hose made of tape, cross section; FIG. 3 shows a tape for packaging, in which the scrolls of the film are placed with lateral displacement one relative to the other; in FIG. 4, a hose made of a tape with lateral displacement of the strips has a cross section. The tape includes strips 1 and 2 films. Between them are placed bent at an angle reinforcing elements 3, the points of 4 bending which are placed along the strip 1 of the film along its edge. In the hose 5 made of a tape having a longitudinal weld 6, the bending points 4 of the reinforcing elements 3 are inside the weld b or slightly protruding from it so that even with the load of the seam, the individual reinforcing elements are retained by the loops formed in the bend section. In the tape (see fig. 3), the reinforcement from the elements 7 is wider than the strips 8 and 9 of the film and the points 10 of the bending of the reinforcing elements on one side protrude beyond the edge 11 of the film strip 8. On the reinforcing elements there is a second strip 9 of the film, which is offset from strips 8 of the film so that the protruding portions of the reinforcing elements are closed from above.     1. Tape for packaging, consisting of two strips of film superimposed on top of one another, between which reinforcing elements bent at an angle are fixed, characterized in that, in order to increase its strength, reinforcing elements are reinforced on one of the strips so that that 3 of their bending points are located on the latter along its edge.

    2. The tape according to claim 1, characterized in that the strip of film is placed with lateral displacement relative to each other.
