The invention relates to a device for recording characters on a matrix indicator and can be used in devices for displaying information from a computer. A disadvantage of the known devices is the impossibility of outputting oblique characters to a recording sign printing device. The aim of the invention is to expand the field of application of the device by presenting oblique signs recorded on matrix indicators. The goal is achieved by the fact that the device consists of a string of characters, the output of which is connected to the control inputs of the buffer memory block, the outputs of which are connected to one of the inputs of the elements and the first group, the other inputs of which are connected to one of the outputs counter rows of characters connected to the input of the counter columns of characters whose outputs are connected to one of the inputs of the adder, the other inputs of which are connected to the output elements And the second group, the first inputs of which are connected to the output the second trigger, the second inputs - with the output of the clock counter, connected to the input of the character row counter, the input of which is connected to the clock generator, and the inputs of the second trigger are connected to the decoder. The device works as follows.
In the proposed example, a matrix indicator is considered, made in the form of a mosaic printing mechanism and having seven consecutive recording elements arranged one above the other, which can be put into operation separately, or all together, i.e. parallel in any combination, and record the dot images of characters on the carrier (Fig. 2 and 3).
