1380549 Bucket wheel excavators O & K ORENSTEIN & KOPPEL AG 15 June 1973 [16 June 1972] 28603/73 Heading E1F A hydraulic operating system, for a mobile bucket excavator having a hydraulic motor 20 for driving a bucket wheel (7), Fig. 1 (not shown) carried by a jib (8) which may be swivelled about a vertical axis by a hydraulic motor 40, comprises respective digging and swivelling control means 23 and 44 for controlling the supply of pressure fluid from a first source, such as twin pumps 21, 22 and a second source, such as pump 42, to the motors 20 and 40, and first and second control means responsive to the resistance encountered by the buckets for automatically reducing the rate of fluid supply to the motors 20 and 40 respectively. The output of the twin pumps 21, 22 is limited by control devices 32, 33 in response to the fluid pressure in the supply lines to the motor 20. The pump 42 is controlled by a device 43 responsive to the pressure difference between lines 48a, 48b supplied from a source 54 through line 45 and swivel control means 44; the pressure in the line 45 is limited by control means 48, again responsive to the pressure in line 29c feeding the motor 20. The twin pumps 21, 22 include respective pumps 21a, 22a feeding the motor 20 directly and pumps 21b, 22b feeding it through slide valves 28a, 28b which may be set to divert fluid to hydraulic motors 30a, 30b to propel the excavator. The lines 48a, 48b may be vented by valves 53a, 53b controlled by limit switches operated by a cam disc on the jib (8) to prevent the jib colliding with discharge conveyor arm (14).

The device relates to hydraulic construction machinery.
Known hydraulic excavator, including the hydraulic actuator actuators and feed them pumps 1.
Also known is a hydraulic actuator of a rotor excavator, which includes hydraulic motors for driving the bucket wheel and turning the handle, feeding them with pressure hydraulic lines, a power regulator and a power line for its power supply, and an oil tank 2.
However, the known hydraulic drives do not provide a sufficiently economical operation of the excavator.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the economy of the work of the excavator.
The purpose of the invention is achieved due to the fact that the steering motor is powered by closed circulation from a separate pump, the power regulator of which is equipped with a hydraulically controlled normally closed valve controlled by pressure hydraulic line of the bucket wheel drive hydraulic motor, connecting the power regulator with the oil tank.
FIG. 1 shows the proposed excavator; in fig. 2 - excavator circuit.
The rotor excavator includes the lower support part on the track 1, on which the upper part 2 is mounted, with the possibility of turning around axis 3 with the help of the plate motor 4. To the top part 2 the handle 5 is attached, which is driven in the vertical plane by the hydraulic motor 6. On the arm. 5 a bucket 8 is attached to a cowgirl wheel 7, which are driven by hydraulic motor 9. Hand 5 has a conveyor 10 for transporting the material to be removed, from which the material to be removed is loaded onto the loading conveyor M, located on the boom 12, driven vertically from the hydro-core 13.
The support tracks are driven separately by hydraulic motors 14 and 15. The drive motors 14 and 15, as well as the drive motor, of the drive bucket 8 are powered by twin pumps 16 and 17 with power regulators, and the hydraulic distributors 18 and 19 and the unit 20 with distributor 25 and safety valve 22 is designed to control

Rotation motor 4 is powered by a pump 23 with a power regulator 24, made in the form of a hydraulic cylinder 25 with a double-sided rod, the piston of which is spring-loaded springs 26, and the cavities with hydraulic lines 27 and 28 are connected to a manual control mechanism 29, which is hydroline powered by power regulator 30 from connected with power supply 31 and hydraulically controlled norm; valve with closed valve 32,
which, in turn, is connected by hydroline 33 to the oil tank 34, and control hydroline 35 to the pressure line of the bucket 8 drive hydraulic motor. The cavities of the hydraulic cylinder of the regulator 24 are also connected by hydraulic / gyneses 27 and 28 to limit switches 36 and 37.
Pumps 16, 17 and 23 are driven through a gearbox 38 by a driving motor 39.
When the excavator operates, the distributors 18 and, 19 control its movement, and the hydraulic distributor 21 enables or disables the rotation of the bucket wheel 7 with the buckets 8.
the handle of the manual control mechanism 29 controls the rotation of the upper part 2 of the excavator, and consequently, the rotation of the bucket wheel 7 with the buckets 8. The manual control mechanism 29 controls the hydraulic cylinder 25 and provides the change in pressure in the hydrolily 27 or 28 proportional to the angle of rotation of the handle, consequently, the supply of the pump 23 increases with increasing angle of rotation of the handle.
With increasing resistance to digging pressure in the pressure line of the hydraulic motor
drive of the bucket 8 is increased, the normally closed valve 32 opens and informs the supply line of the power regulator 30 with the oil tank, as a result of which hydrocyliol 25 reduces the performance of the pump 23 and the rotation of the handle 5 with the bucket wheel 7 slows down.
Limit switches 36 and 37 limit the rotation of the handle 5.
