The invention relates to a method for casting metal parts on combustible polystyrene foam models, in particular, from aluminum and from its alloys. The goal is to improve the quality of the casting by preventing the casting of castings through the gas sinks. The essence of the invention is as follows. The gasified model of polystyrene foam is placed in a container with a bulk refractory material without a binder. The container is placed in a sealed caisson, equipped with one or more nozzles distributed over its surface and connected to a source of gas under pressure. After the mold is filled with the molten metal, i.e. when the model is completely destroyed by the metal, the separated vapors are removed by creating a vacuum in the mold. After filling the mold and removing all the gases entering during the combustion of the model, feed the isostatic pressure to the entire mold (using, preferably, a gas that is neutral with respect to poured metal). The gas pressure must be fast and have a duration of less than 15 seconds so that there is no time for the crystallization to develop too much. The gas pressure is raised to a value of from 0.5 to 1.5 MPa immediately after the mold is filled with metal and before at least 40% of the metal hardens. Thus, in order to avoid the penetration of the liquid metal through the grains of the bulk filler, the gas pressure increases in time to a selected value (up to 1.5 MPa). Under these conditions, parts from aluminum alloys are obtained which do not contain pores, i.e. have improved density and mechanical characteristics. The invention can be illustrated using the following example. Hollow cylindrical bodies with an outer diameter of 45 mm and a wall thickness of 4 mm, containing adjacent ribs and protuberances of 20x20x30 mm, were cast according to the proposed method, according to which after filling the form metalXJ B, 00 s scrap and before the hardened part of the metal hardens at least 40%, the gas is supplied with an isostatic pressure of up to 1 MPa per 10 s. Castings were obtained from two types of alloys: (A-S 7 G 03) chemical composition. %: Fe 0.20; Si 6.5-7.5; C 0.10; Zn 0.10; MgO 0.25-0.40; Mn 0.10; SIO 0.05; Pb 0.05; Sn 0.05; Tl 0.05-0.20, while the alloy is modified with sodium; (A-V SGT) chemical composition,%: Fe 0.35; SI 0.20; C 4.20-5.00; Sn 0.10; Mg 0.15-0.35; Mn 0.10; Ni 0.05; Pb 0.05; Sn 0.05; TIO 0.05-0.30. The results are shown in the table. Thus, the method for producing castings from aluminum or its alloys has an improved density and mechanical properties.

Claims (2) [1] 1. A method of obtaining casting mainly from aluminum and its alloys, including installing a polystyrene foam model in a container with a bulk refractory material without a binder and pouring a metal under gas pressure, characterized in that, in order to improve the quality of casting by preventing the casting from casting through gas shells , metal captives, immediately after filling the mold with metal and before it hardens at least 40% of the metal by weight, the gas pressure raise to a value of from 0.5 to 1.5 MPa.
