The invention concerns a bogie arrangement for railway vehicles. The object of the invention is to reduce the number of structural components in the bogie and to provide a radial steering of the wheel sets in the bogie. The bogie arrangement comprises at least two bogies (10,10a) provided with wheels, said bogies consisting of two pivotable bogie frame parts (11,11a, 12,12a) that are linked together. The bogies (10,10a) are coupled to each other mechanically and to the railway vehicle by means of the suspension. The first part (11,11a) and the second part (12,12a) of the bogie frame of each bogie (10,10a) are coupled to each other so that they can pivot both relative the longitudinal axis of the bogie and relative the vertical centre axis of the bogie, and the bogie is suspended by means of a single-stage suspension (17,18) directly on the frame of the railway vehicle. The bogies (10,10a) are connected to each other by means of positive steering so that the axles (15,16,15a,16a) of the wheel sets in each bogie (10,10a) are arranged to be steered in curves substantially radially irrespective of the curve radius (R). The bogies (10,10a) are interconnected by means of a connecting rod (40), which is linked to the first parts (11,11a) of the bogie frames directly and to the second parts (12,12a) of the bogie frames by the intermediate of a set of rods with articulated joints (44 to 46, 44a to 46a).

Claim
1. The undercarriage of a railway vehicle, containing two trolleys, each of which includes
20 set with. the possibility of rotation relative to its longitudinal axes and the vertical central axis of the trolley, two frame parts, with each of which is connected a pair of wheels, connecting rods, 25 pivotally connected by parts located between their ends and midpoints, with the corresponding equal parts of the trolleys facing each other, indicated ends - with extreme equal parts of trolleys corresponding to 30, and connected by other ends, and mounted on frame parts symmetrically with respect to their longitudinal axes above the axes corresponding wheel pairs of springs for communication with a vehicle body frame, characterized in that, in order to improve operational characteristics, the connecting rods are rigidly interconnected, each of these extreme frame parts is equipped with levers, one ends pivotally connected to it on both sides from its longitudinal axis, and with the other ends with the first end of the corresponding connecting lever, the wheel pairs are directly mounted on the respective frame parts, the springs are hydropneumatically and, moreover, the hydraulic cavities of the springs installed on each side of each truck are interconnected.

2. The undercarriage of claim 1, wherein the distances between the articulated joints of one truck with a connecting rod are equal to the distances between the corresponding articulated joints of another truck with a connecting rod.

3. The chassis according to paragraphs. 1 and 2, characterized in that the connecting rod is provided with a supporting element for connection with the frame of the vehicle body.

4. The running gear according to claim 1, wherein the frame parts of each trolley 5 are equipped with brackets mounted on their upper parts and an elastic rod connected to them.

5. The chassis according to claim 4, characterized in that the said elastic rods are longitudinally relative to the respective bogies.
