The raw gas channel (6) is in each case connected to the interior (29) of the housing via perforations (15) formed in the bottom (6') of the channel, while the pure gas channel (5) is in turn connected to the interior of the housing (1) via a channel (16) running along the front of the housing (1). By arranging individual modules in a row, a dust filter (30) of virtually any desired capacity can thus be provided, each individual module being suitable for safe transport on the equipment available underground, namely in the state prefabricated above ground. Stable support for the filter cloth walls is provided by the grid (19) which consists of longitudinal and transverse wires (21, 32, 33, 34) in an arrangement bent at right angles.

The hatched surfaces (Fig. 1) are steel bottom 11 in discharge channel 7.
