Claims (3) [1] 1. A method of making an antimicrobial composition in the form of an ointment for application to a wound by mixing an antimicrobial agent with an antibacterial and antifungal actinvity carrier, characterized in that, in order to improve atraumatic properties, the composition is further mixed with sugars at a mass ratio of 1: (10-80) , and the carrier is used in an amount of 10-35% by weight of the composition. [2] 2. A method according to claim 1, characterized in that a complex of polyvinylpyrrolidone with iodine is used as an antimicrobial agent. [3] 3. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that sucrose, dextrose, fructose, honey, molasses, or a mixture thereof is used as sugars.
