The device comprises a frame 1 with fixed guides 2, a die holder made in the form of a slider 3 mounted for movement along the guides 2. and a punch holder 4. connected to the slider 3 by means of the guide columns 5. Between the slider 3 and the bed 1 are placed the means for returning the slider 3 to its original position, each of which is made in the form of a spring 14, a bolt 15 connected by a threaded pair with the slider 3, and a sleeve 16. attached to the bed 1.
The guide columns 5 are fixedly connected to the slider 3 and placed with the possibility of relative movement in the holes of the punch holder 4.
The operation of the device is shown by the example of processing the strip 8 with a periodically repeating V-shaped profile.
By means of the drive pulling 10, the punch holder 4 is moved downwards and with it the catcher 7. When the catcher 7 and the control panel 13 touch the corresponding section of the band 8, the catcher is kept from moving in the longitudinal direction. When an accurate alignment of the working parts of the catcher 7 and the counter 13 to the profile of the strip 8 is completed, precise positioning of the punch 6 and the die 12 relative to the processed strip 8 is completed. At that, the slider 3 together with the punch holder 4 are displaced in the direction of feeding the strip to distance d (see Fig one).
Upon further lowering of the punch holder 4, the diarrhea is processed by the punch 6 and the matrix 12 (in the example presented, partial separation of adjacent products — sheet nails with a V-shaped cross section) with preservation of the interdegmental jumpers.
After the completion of the working stroke, the tool moves away from the strip, which then moves to the feeding step, and the slider 3 returns under the action of the spring 14 to the initial position.
