    Can ends l having an off-centre aperture 3, are each orientated by a resiliently mounted peg 20 which engages a surface l2 of the can end and is rotated about a pitch circle for one complete revolution. The peg seeks and enters the aperture and thereafter causes the can end to rotate with it until it stops at a position corresponding to the desired orientation of the can end. The peg is then withdrawn from the aperture and the can end, supported in a carrier plate 6 and is delivered to a moulding machine (not shown) in which a plastics closure is moulded into the aperture.

    Claim
    1. The device for orientation by turning around the central axis of the tertiary panels of metal cans, comprising a mechanism for feeding the panels and a mechanism for turning them, characterized in that, in order to increase the reliability of operation, the mechanism for turning the panels includes a lifting table mounted on it with the possibility of periodic rotation of the head with blind holes displaced from the axis and spring-loaded pins located in the latter to interact with the holes of the end panels when moving the lifting table, at m mechanism for feeding the panels consists of a plate made in the drink with at least one socket g, a hole whose inner surface is stepped / forming an annular support for the panels.
