专利摘要:
Wear-resistant materials and articles, wherein an amorphous material having a hardness of greater than about 1600 VHN is utilized to protect wear-susceptible portions of substrates or is itself made into a wear-resistant article. Amorphous materials having hardnesses greater than about 1600 VHN are found to have surprisingly great wear resistance and can be used to prepare wear-resistant articles. Particularly satisfactory results have been obtained with metal-metalloid systems such as W-Ru-B, Re-Mo-B, Mo-Ru-B, and Co-Nb-B materials.

专利说明:

The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to wear resistant articles, for which amorphous materials with high hardness are used.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the wear resistance.
Wear-resistant product contains a substrate of non-amorphous alloy and a coating with a hardness greater than the hardness of the substrate, and the coating is made of amorphous alloy with a hardness of at least 1600 units. Vickers following chemical composition, „wt.%: Nb 38,4; AT 5; With the rest or Ru 26,5-34,8; In 1.76-1.86, W the rest. Wear-resistant product, in addition, is made of amorphous alloy with a hardness of not less than 1600 units. Vickers following chemical composition, wt.Ј: Nb 38.4; AT 5; With the rest or Ru 26,5g34,8; 1.76- 1.86 and W the rest.
The amorphous material may first be manufactured and then deposited on the parts of the product that are subject to wear, and the substrate may be an amorphous or non-amorphous material. The amorphous material can be applied directly to the surface of the substrate, or the amorphous material itself can be used to make the product.
The table presents the compositions and properties of wear-resistant products.
