This invention relates to a transport engineering, in particular to variable speed conveyor drive devices. The purpose of the invention is the exact location of the supports in high speed zones. The conveyor drive unit comprises supports 1 and 2, carrier elements in the form of plates interconnected by means of a flexible link 3, formed, for example, by a chain closed in an endless ring. Each support is formed by a pipe 4, in which flexible connections take place, and contains control heads 5 and 6. On the latter are placed the elements of the angular transmission in the form of rotary pulleys 7. The heads 5 and 6 are guided by means of a roller 8, which rolls along path. For the connection of the adjacent supports 1 and 2 in the vehicle there are levers 10, one ends of which are fixed on supports and the others are connected by a ball joint 11. Claims (2) [1] Claim 45 1.
