专利摘要:
A method of manufacture of a tire in which a carcass ply is formed by winding a continuous cord around a pair of spaced members to form a ply (31) having loops (36) at its edges. The cord ply is rubberized and support elements (32) (33) are located in the loops (36) to form a cylindrical ply having spaced hooped support elements at each ply edge. Bead wire assemblies (40) and (41) are located coaxially of the ply together with the support elements which are subsequently incorporated in the bead wire assemblies. There is also provided a tire building former on which the above method can be performed. The former (100) comprises at least three coaxial discs (101), (102), (106) for supporting a carcass ply 30 on their radially outer surfaces. The central disc (106) is axially movable between the two other discs so as to support a portion of an elastomeric ply (103) helically wound onto the former (100) from a strip (104).
The invention relates to the tire industry, in particular to pneumatic tires of radial design for passenger cars. The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability. Figure 1 shows the tire, the cross section; figure 2 - layer frame; in fig. 3-5 bead tires, options for implementation. Pokryshka 1 with a radial layer 2 of the frame, intended for use in passenger cars, has a tread 3. The sidewalls 4 are radially inward from the tread 3. The sides 5 include annular side rings 6 and filling rings 7 extending radially outward from bead 5. The carcass ply 2 passes from one bead 5 to the other through the sidewalls 4 and under the tread 3. The tread 3 is reinforced in a part of the crown by a breaker 8 consisting of a pair of ring-shaped belts 9 and 10. Each of the bead rings 6 is formed by a bundle of wires arranged in two parts 11 and 12. The carcass ply 2 is formed by a continuous reinforcing thread of the cord 13 wound spirally around a pair of axially arranged portions 11, preferably made of steel wire. 315054 Thus, the parts 11 are inside the loops 14 of the cord 13 on the edges 15 of the layer 2. As shown in FIG. 3, part 12 of the side ring 6 is formed by non-expandable rubberized steel wires 16, they can be wound in the form of a layer of four parallel cords in the form of a flat strip or can be formed from a plurality of turns or rings wire non-trunkon length. The outer layer of cords, preferably radial, has one missed round of cord to form a groove or axially on its outer side in the usual configuration of a bead wire ring. Part 1 1 is placed in a free position in the wire bead ring 5. Thus, the loops 14 of the layer 2 are fixed inside the bundle of wire rings of the bead 5 tires with the help of the parts 11. Parts 11 can be made in the form of solid wire rings, which can be open. If part 12 of the bead ring 6 consists of a plurality of continuous wire, then part 11 may be formed by a single turn of continuous or solid wire. According to an embodiment, while healthy in FIG. 4, the side wire ring 6 is formed with a groove 17 on the axially inner side in which the loops of the layer 14 are placed with part 11 of the side ring 6, and the carcass layer 2 forms a full turn around the side wire ring 6 of the tire. Figure 5 shows another embodiment of the invention in which part 11 is located in the center of the bundle of the wire ring 6 of the bead 5. Part 11 in this case serves to attach the edges 15 of the frame 2 to the bead wire rings 6 pokryshki both during winding and the finished tire. Parts 11 can be fastened to the beads 5 by any suitable means, for example, by adhesion of the raw rubber wire coating, by soldering, by surrounding the bundles of bead wire rings with a cord to bond them together. This is important for the final stage of tire manufacturing, but after vulcanization of the surrounding rubber, less strength is required for mechanical fastening provided with (part 1-1. 1, because the adhesion of cords of carcass layer 2 provides a more secure anchorage. Before vulcanization and especially during carcass formation to a toroidal shape the wire support elements effectively counteract the displacement of the edges of the carcass ply 2 during the tension created in the cords of carcass ply 2. Under the condition of providing equal support by means of Tire bead formations during shaping can use other constructions of parts 11, rather than solid ones (for example, welded wire rings, i.e., the wire can wind into a ring and overlap: without ends directly joined by welding, or they can be replaced with plastic or textile cords or filaments. In these cases, vulcanization of the surrounding rubber is mainly used to preserve the integrity of part 11. In making the proposed pockets, less cord material is used for the carcass layers due to the elimination of the winding layers. Effectively bonded edges of the carcass layers together with precisely positioned tire bead wires provide greater operational reliability.
