The device for tamping sleepers and aligning the track for the track machine, having a frame 1 mounted on the undercarriage 2, contains a carrier frame 3 mounted between the carts 2 with the possibility of longitudinal movement by a drive 4 made in the form of a power cylinder pivotally connected to the frame of the machine.
