A starting aid for a combustion engine comprises a hollow elongated body and a refractory electrical heating element mounted in the body at one end thereof. Formed in said one end of the body are one or more holes through which, in use, the heating element can be exposed to the combustion mixture of an engine. In addition, the body is formed with at least one exhaust aperture which is spaced from the heating element in the direction of the other end of the body and which permits the escape of gases entering the body through said one or more holes. Extending through the body and electrically connected to the heating element is an electrode rod for supplying heating current to the heating element to raise its temperature. The electrode rod includes two relatively movable parts which are mechanically connected by resilient means to maintain the heating element in compression against said one end of the body and which are electrically connected by a flexible braid. The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to engine-building, namely to devices for triggering the start of an internal combustion engine. A device for facilitating the start of an internal combustion engine is known, comprising a hollow elongated body, an electrode mounted in the body and made of two relatively mobile electrical components: if connected to the input and output parts, a refractory electric heating element mounted in the body at one end between the output part of the electrode and: an end cap1 attached to this end of the housing, in which at least one inlet is made, and a sealing gasket placed between housing and the output part of the electrode 11. However, the service life of the known device is not long enough. The purpose of the invention is to increase the service life. The goal is achieved by the fact that in a device for facilitating the start of an internal combustion engine, comprising a hollow elongated body, an electrode mounted in a housing and made of two relatively movable electrically connected inlet and outlet parts, a refractory electric heating element mounted in the housing of one between the outlet part of the electrode and the end cap attached to this end of the housing, in which at least one hole is made, and the sealing a gasket placed between the housing and the output part of the electrode, between the sealing gasket and the housing is installed a coupling that is rigidly connected to the inner surface of the housing, and the gasket is made of heat-resistant material deformed state between the clutch and housing stops. Laying can be made in the form of a sleeve of fiberglass. The gasket may be made of thermally conductive material. The gasket may be made of aluminum foil wound around the output part of the electrode. In the housing between the inlet and the gasket, at least one outlet may be additionally formed. At the end of the housing, a groove can be made, a sleeve is installed on the output part of the electrode, and the end surfaces of the heating element are placed in the sleeve and the groove. The drawing shows the device. The device contains a hollow, stucco-cylindrical, electrically conductive housing consisting of two parts 1 and 2. Part 1 of opposite ends 3 and 4 is open, moreover. At the end 3, internal and external threads 5 and 6 are made. Thread 6 serves to install the device in the wall of the cylinder head of the engine with compression ignition (not shown). Claims (6) [1] 1. DEVICE FOR EASY STARTING THE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, containing a hollow elongated housing, an electrode mounted in the housing and made of two relatively movable electrically connected input and output parts, a refractory electric one. A heating element mounted in the housing at one end between the outlet of the electrode and the end cap attached to this end of the housing, which has at least one inlet, and a gasket placed between the housing and the outlet of the electrode characterized in that, in order to increase the service life, a coupling is installed between the sealing gasket and the body, which is rigidly connected to the inner surface of the body, and the gasket is made of heat-resistant material, p is axially displaceable between the output part of the electrode and the coupling and clamped in a deformed state between the stops of the coupling and the housing.
