RESERVOIR MOUNTING KIT AND THE MOUNTING METHOD THEREOF DESCRIPTION Subject of the lnvention The invention according to the application relates to a reservoir mounting kit and to the mounting method of the reservoir mounting kit according to the application.
State of the Art The invention according to the application relates to a reservoir mounting kit and to the mounting method of the reservoir mounting kit according to the application. ln the water closets of the present state of the art, reservoir is directly mounted to the seatsection of the water closet. Then, ceramic outer body is fitted on the reservoir. To mount theceramic outer body fitted on the reservoir to the water closet, a planar ceramic area whichcan contact with the seat section of the water closet as seen in Figure 34 is provided underthe ceramic outer body. Thanks to this planar ceramic area, the ceramic outer body fitted onthe reservoir is mounted to the seat section of the water closet by means of the fixingelements. The fact that ceramic planar area required for mounting is provided in the ceramicouter body fitted on the reservoir prevents the use of pressure production systems, whichprovide higher number of production per unit of time, and causes the production of thewater closets to be made with the methods requiring extra cost and time. Furthermore,when the reservoir is desired to be reached for maintenance/repair processes, said ceramicouter body fitted on the reservoir is required to be disassembled from the seat section ofthe water closet to which it is connected. This causes loss of time and labor. Therefore,based on this instance, reaching to the reservoir is complicated in case maintenance/repairis required. Besides, planar area available under the ceramic outer body fitted on thereservoir prevents serial production of the reservoir. Thus, reservoirs are required to beproduced with traditional methods, extra cost and time is spent for reservoir production, and the number of reservoir produced per unit of time is reduced.
Water closets, in which reservoir and ceramic outer body fitted on the reservoir areintegrated, are available in the present state of the art. ln these water closets, ceramic outer body and the reservoir therein are integrated and mounted to the seat section of the water closet in an integrated manner. Meanwhile, fixing elements are fitted to the seat section ofthe water closet as in Figure 35. In this case, when looked from the outside, the fixingelements are seen from the both sides of the water closet. Seeing the fixing elements from the outside creates an unaesthetic appearance. ln addition water closets, which both comprise a planar ceramic area in the ceramic sectionfitted on the reservoir and the fixing elements of which are seen from the outside, areavailable in the present state of the art. Figure 36 can be given as an example to such waterclosets. Thus, not only the production of such water closets is difficult but also anaesthetically unpleasant appearance is formed as the fixing elements are seen from the outside.
Thanks to the reservoir mounting kit according to the application, a ceramic planar surfaceunder the ceramic outer body fitted on the reservoir is not required. This provides the use ofpressure production systems which allow for higher number of reservoir production per unitof time. As the ceramic outer body fitted on the reservoir is not fitted to the seat surface ofthe water closet with any fixing element, when the reservoir is desired to be reached formaintenance or repair, ceramic outer body can be easily disassembled and thenreassembled. Moreover, thanks to the reservoir mounting kit according to the application,connection holes on the ceramic outer body and fixing elements used during mounting thereservoir to the water closet are provided in the rear section of the water closet in a way notto be seen from the outside, which creates an aesthetic appearance. Thus, the presentinvention discloses a reservoir mounting kit, which eliminates all the aforementioneddisadvantages; provides ease of mounting; provides access reaching to the reservoir easilywhen a maintenance/repair process is required to be made for the reservoir, in other words;eliminates the requirement to disassemble the water closet so as to access to the reservoir;provides the use of systems allowing for higher number of production per unit oftime duringthe reservoir production; provides an aesthetic appearance in the water closets thanks tothe fact that the fixing elements such as screw are not seen from the outside; and a mounting method with respect to this reservoir mounting kit.
Object of the lnvention The object of the invention is to develop a reservoir mounting kit and a mounting method ofsaid reservoir mounting kit providing the reservoirs available in the water closets to be easilymounted to the seat section of the water closet.

The invention according to the application relates to a reservoir mounting kit, whichprovides easy mounting of the reservoir; allows for reaching to the reservoir without theneed for disassembling the water closet in case of maintenance and repair; providesmounting on the visible surface of the water closet without any mounting hole and therebyhas an aesthetic appearance; and facilitates production of the reservoir which does notcomprise any lower planar, solid, etc. area in the ceramic upper body of the water closetfitted on the reservoir for the mounting of the reservoir; and to the mounting method of said reservoir mounting kit.
The subject of the invention relates to the reservoir mounting kit which will be used formounting at least one reservoir (1) on at least one seat section (12) of the water closettogether with at least one ceramic outer body (2) fitted on the reservoir on at least onereservoir channel mounting hole (13) provided in this section by means of at least onemounting hole (14) provided in the seat section (12) of the water closet. Reservoir (1) is fixed on the reservoir channel mounting hole (13) on the water closet by means of at least one 7 nut (15) attached into at least one reservoir channel (1a) provided thereon and at least onesealing element (16) fitted to said reservoir channel (1a) in a way to be under the nut (15) with the reservoir mounting kit according to the invention.
The reservoir mounting kit according to the invention comprises at least one connectionplate (4) and at least one T-shaped compression plastic (3). Said connection plate (4)comprises at least one T-channel (6) where said T-shaped compression plastic (3) will be positioned.
Connection plate has a U-like form. To explain this form better, the two side edges are calledpieces A and C while the piece forming the bottom section is called B as seen in Figures 1 and 13.
Connection plate (4) comprises mounting holes (4a) provided in the connection plate and atleast one nut (4b) welded to this mounting hole on the piece A. At least one fixing element(4c) mounted to the connection plate will be positioned to this section. ln addition, two support wings (8) are provided in both sides of the piece A, one for each (Figure 13).
U-shaped connection plate (4) comprises at least one hole (5), where reservoir channel (1a)will be placed, in the piece B and two support legs (9) and two mounting legs (10) in bothsides of the piece B, one for each side. At least one mounting hole (10a) is provided on themounting legs and at least one fixing element (10b) is positioned to said mounting holes(10a). The fixing element (10b) fitted to the mounting hole in the mounting legs is fixed bymeans of at least one washer (10c) and connection element (10d) fitted thereon (Figure 1). Acoating material (11) adhered to provide balance and insulation and to tolerate thedeformations on the seat section (12) of the water closet is provided in the lower section of the mounting legs (10) and the support legs (9).
U-shaped connection plate (4) comprises at least one T-shaped channel (6), at least oneprotrusion (7), at least one mounting hole (7a) on the protrusion, at least one nut (7b)welded to the mounting hole (7a) provided on the protrusion in the piece C. Connectionplate (4) also comprises two support wings (8) in both sides of the piece C, one for each. Atleast one fixing element (7c) is positioned to the mounting hole (7a) provided on said protrusion.
At least one mounting hole (3a) is provided on said T-shaped compression plastic (3). Duringmounting, T-shaped compression plastic (3) will be positioned on the ceramic outer body (2).At least one fixing element (3b), which fixes the T-shaped compression plastic (3) on theceramic outer body fitted on the reservoir, will be positioned to said mounting holes (3a).Ceramic outer body (2) comprises at least one mounting hole (2a) thereon and T-shapedcompression plastic (3) will be positioned on the ceramic outer body (2) such that themounting holes (3a) thereon will be aligned with the mounting holes (2a) on the ceramicouter body. At least one washer (2b) will be positioned to the mounting holes on theceramic outer body and the T-shaped compression plastic (3) is fixed on the ceramic outerbody (2) by means of the fixing elements (3b) passing both through the mounting holes (2a)on the ceramic outer body (2) and the mounting holes (3a) on the T-shaped compression plastic (3).
As seen in Figures 14 and 15, channels (3c), which provide fitting to the T-shaped channel (6)on the connection plate, are provided in both sides of the T-shaped compression plastic (3).lt is seen in Figure 15 that these channels (3c) are narrower in the upper section (3d) of theT-shaped compression plastic (3) and wider toward the lower section (3e) of the T-shapedcompression plastic. In Figure 15, width of the channel (3c) on the T-shaped compressionplastic (3) in the upper section (3d) is defined as al and the width ofthe channel (3c) on theT-shaped compression plastic (3) in the lower section (3e) is defined as a2. ln this case, thewidth value a1 in the channels (3c) provided in the T-shaped compression plastic (3) issmaller than the value a2. This reverse angle structure of the T-shaped compression plastic(3) provides said T-shaped compression plastic (3) to be tightened in the T-shaped channel (6) more firmly.
Thanks to the mounting kit developed within the scope of the invention, reservoir andceramic outer body can be easily mounted on the water closet. The mounting method is given below in detail.
For the mounting of the reservoir, first T-shaped compression plastic (3) is placed in theinner section of the ceramic outer body (2) fitted on the reservoir. Namely, the mountingholes (3a) provided on the T-shaped compression plastic are aligned with the mounting holes (2a) provided in the ceramic outer body fitted on the reservoir. Meanwhile, at least one washer (2b) is placed to the mounting holes (2a) provided in the ceramic outer body andafter the alignment process is completed, the T-shaped compression plastic (3) is fixed to the ceramic outer body (2) by means of at least one fixing element (3b) as seen in Figure 26.
On the other side, the fixing element is fitted to the mounting hole (10a) provided in themounting legs (10) in both sides of the piece B provided in the connection plate (4). Thefixing element (7c) is attached to the mounting hole (7a) provided on the protrusion (7) inthe connection plate (4) in the piece C by means of the nut (7b) welded to said mounting hole.
Afterwards, the reservoir channel (1a) provided in the reservoir is fitted into the hole (5)through which reservoir channel provided on the connection plate (4) passes. Thus, theconnection plate (4) is positioned to its place in the reservoir. Nut (15) is attached andtightened right under the connection plate (4) following the reservoir channel (la) for thefixation of the connection plate (4) to the reservoir (1) and the sealing element (16) is fitted under the nut (15). After these processes, the view in Figure 20 is obtained.
Afterwards, as seen in Figure 20, the reservoir (1), to which the connection plate (4) isattached and to the reservoir channel (1a) of which nut (15) and sealing element (16) arefitted respectively, is placed into the ceramic outer body (2). During this placement, the flush button (17) provided on the reservoir is displaced.
T-shaped compression plastic (3), which is formerly mounted to the wall (D) section of theceramic outer body (2), which is fitted on the reservoir, is fitted to the T-shaped channel (6)in the piece C ofthe connection plate (4) mounted to the reservoir (1) in a direction as seenin Figure 14, in other words; the first section of the T-shaped compression plastic (3) fittingto the T-shaped channel (6) is the lower section (3e) of the T-shaped compression plastic. Asdescribed above, that the channels (3c) in both sides of the T-shaped compression plastic(3), which provide fitting to the T-shaped channel (6) on the connection plate, are narrowerin the upper section (3d) of the T-shaped compression plastic (3) and wider (3e) toward thelower section of the T-shaped compression plastic provide the T-shaped compression plastic (3) to be tightened in the T-shaped channel (6) more firmly.
Afterwards the reservoir, on which ceramic outer body (2) is fitted and connection plate (4)is mounted, is placed to the reservoir channel mounting hole (13) in the seat section of thewater closet as in Figure 27. Meanwhile, the fixing elements (10b) in the mounting holes(10a) provided in the mounting leg (10) are fitted into the mounting hole (14) in the seatsection of the water closet. Moreover, the lower surfaces of the mounting legs (10) and thesupport legs (9), namely; the surfaces contacting with the seat section of the water closet,are covered with a coating material (11). Washer (10c) and connection element (10d) arerespectively attached to the fixing element (10b) from below the seat section (12) of thewater closet as in Figure 31. Thus, the mounting of the reservoir (1) to the seat section (12) of the water closet by means ofthe mounting kit according to the application is completed.
Fixing elements (4c) provided in the piece A in the connection plate (4) lean to the ceramicouter body (2) fitted on the reservoir and fill the gap between the connection plate (4) andthe ceramic outer body (2). Likewise, support wings (8) provided in the pieces A and C in theconnection plate (4) fill the gap between the reservoir (1) and the connection plate (4). Afterthe reservoir (1) and the ceramic outer body (2) fitted thereon are mounted to the seatsection (12) of the water closet by means of the connection plate (4), the fixing element (7c),which is fitted to the mounting hole (7a) provided on the protrusion (7) by means of the nut(7b) welded to said mounting hole, in the piece C is loosened by a wrench and used forremoving the gap between the seat section (12) of the water closet and the connection plate(4). ln other words, when the fixing element (7c) is loosened, it leans to the seat section (12) of the water closet. Finally, flush button (17) is attached to its place. ln the preferred use bolt, wing nut and gasket are used as fixing element, connectionelement and sealing element, respectively. Moreover, said coating material (11) is polyurethane in the preferred use. ln the preferred use, mounting holes (2a) provided in the ceramic outer body (2) fitted onthe reservoir, washer (2b) attached to the mounting holes provided in the ceramic outerbody fitted on the reservoir, mounting holes (3a) provided on the T-shaped compression plastic (3) are two in number.
Consequently, thanks to the mounting kit according to the application and the method developed, ceramic outer body (2) is connected on the reservoir (1) by fitting the T-shaped 11 compression plastic (3) into the T-shaped channel (6) on the connection plate (4). Thus,when maintenance and repair are desired to be made to the reservoir, ceramic outer body(2) can be displaced without the need for disassembling the water closet and withoutunscrewing any screw, bolt, etc. While ceramic outer body (2) is displaced from above thereservoir, T-shaped compression plastic (3) is disp|aced from inside the T-shaped channel (6).Thus, saving on time and labor is achieved during maintenance/repair. As reservoir (1) isconnected to the seat section of the water closet with connection plate (4), the mounting ofthe reservoir (1) is also facilitated. Unlike in the prior art, reservoir (1) is not required to bedirectly connected to the seat section (12) of the water closet. Moreover, the need for aceramic planar surface to which the reservoir (1) will be connected in the ceramic outerbody (2) is eliminated. Thanks to the fact that no intrusion or protrusion is provided in theinner section of the ceramic outer body (2), systems which provide higher number ofreservoir production per unit of time can be utilized. Moreover, any component such asscrew hole and screw which distorts the aesthetic appearance is not provided on thesurfaces of the ceramic outer body (2) and the seat section of the water closet, which are seen from the outside. 12

A mounting kit which provides mounting of a reservoir (1) to at least one seat section (12) of a water closet together with at least one ceramic outer body (2) fitted on saidreservoir, characterized in comprising at least one T-shaped compression plastic (3) to be positioned on the ceramic outerbody (2) at least one connection plate (4) comprising at least one hole (5) where reservoir (1)will be positioned with at least one reservoir channel (1a) provided thereon and atleast one T-shaped channel (6) where said T-shaped compression plastic (3) will be positioned. . The mounting kit as in Claim 1, characterized in that said T-shaped compression plastic (3) comprises at least one mounting hole (3a) which provides the mountingthereof to at least one mounting hole (2a) on the ceramic outer body onto saidceramic outer body (2) by means of at least one connection plate (3b) and at least one channel (3c) which provides the mounting thereof on the connection plate (4). . The mounting kit as in Claim 1, characterized in that said connection plate (4) comprises two side pieces (A, C) and one bottom piece (B) and has a U-like form constituted by interconnection ofthese pieces. . The mounting kit as in Claim 3, characterized in that the connection plate (4) comprises at least one mounting hole (4a) on said side piece (A) and at least one nut (4b) welded on said mounting hole. . The mounting kit as in Claim 3, characterized in that said connection plate (4)comprises said T-shaped channel (6) where said T-shaped compression plastic (3) willbe positioned, at least one protrusion (7), at least one mounting hole (7a) on saidprotrusion and at least one nut (7b) welded to said mounting hole (7a) on its side piece C, and two support wings (8) in both sides of said piece C, one for each. The mounting kit as in Claim 11, characterized in comprising at least one fixing element (7c) to be positioned in said mounting hole (7a). The mounting kit as in Claim 1, characterized in comprising at least one nut (15) fittedon the reservoir channel (1a) and at least one sealing element (16) fitted under the nut. The mounting method of said reservoir mounting kit as in any one of the precedingclaims, characterized in comprising the process steps of; - placing the T-shaped compression plastic (3) to the inner section of the ceramicouter body such that the mounting holes (3a) provided on T-shaped compressionplastic will be aligned with the mounting holes (2a) provided in ceramic outer bodyfitted on the reservoir; - placing at least one washer (2b) to the mounting holes (2a) provided in the ceramicouter body; - fixing T-shaped compression plastic (3) to the ceramic outer body (2) by means of atleast one fixing element (3b); - fitting at least one fixing element to the mounting hole (10a) provided in themounting legs (10) in both sides ofthe piece B provided in the connection plate (4); - attaching at least one fixing element (7c) to the mounting hole (7a) provided on theprotrusion (7) in the connection plate (4) in the piece C by means of the nut (7b)welded to said mounting hole; - fitting the reservoir channel (la) provided in the reservoir (1) into the hole (5)through which reservoir channel provided on the connection plate (4) passes and thereby, positioning the connection plate (4) to its place in the reservoir (1); - attaching and tightening the nut (15) to the reservoir channel (la) right under theconnection plate (4) for the fixation of the connection plate (4) to the reservoir (1)and fitting the sealing element (16) under the nut; - placing the reservoir (1), to which connection plate (4) is attached and to thereservoir channel of which nut (15) and sealing element (16) are fitted respectively,into the ceramic outer body (2); - during this placement, displacing the flush button (17) provided on the reservoir (1);- fitting the T-shaped compression plastic (3), which is formerly mounted to the wall(D) section of the ceramic outer body (2), which is fitted on the reservoir (1), to the T-shaped channel (6) provided in the piece C of the connection plate (4) mounted tothe reservoir (1); - placing the reservoir (1), on which ceramic outer body (2) is fitted, connection plate(4) is mounted, and nut (15) and sealing element (16) are attached, to the reservoirchannel mounting hole (13) in the seat section of the water closet; - meanwhile, fitting the fixing elements (10b), which are provided in the mountingholes (10a) provided in the mounting leg (10) in the piece B of the connection plate(4), into the mounting hole (14) in the seat section of the water closet; - contacting of the coating material (11) provided in the lower surfaces of themounting legs (10) and the support legs (9) with the seat section of the water closet;- attaching washer (10c) and connection element (10d) are respectively attached tothe fixing element (10b) from below the seat section (12) of the water closet; - thus, completing the mounting of the reservoir (1) to the seat section (12) of thewater closet by means of the connection plate (4) according to the application; - after mounting the reservoir (1) to the seat section (12) of the water closet bymeans of the connection plate (4) and fitting the ceramic outer body (2) fitted on thereservoir (1), loosening the fixing element (7c), which is fitted to the mounting hole(7a) provided on the protrusion (7) by means of the nut (7b) welded to said mountinghole, in the piece C of the connection plate (4) by a wrench and removing the gapbetween the seat section (12) of the water closet and the connection plate (4); - attaching the flush button (17) to its place. 16
