Method and device for packing a fluid-fillable lifting cushion.
The present invention relates to a method for compressing one with fluid, such as e.g. air, gas or water-fillable lifting cushion and a device for carrying out said method.
For lifting cushions that have a low height to be able to insert the lifting cushions in tight spaces, for example under vehicles if these e.g. If there is a shortage of space between the vehicle in question and the surface on which the vehicle is located, it is important that the lifting cushion is compactly packed. Manual packing of such lifting pillows is cumbersome and time consuming and often does not give very good results.
The main object of the present invention is therefore primarily to solve said problems with simple yet effective means so that one can automatically have lifting cushions packed efficiently and safely by a suitable procedure.
Said object is achieved by means of the method and device according to the present invention, which are mainly characterized in that elastic means inside said lifting cushion are allowed to contract portions of said lifting cushion in connection with or after emptying the lifting cushion on fluid, and that a number of elastic pulling means are attached to opposite sides of a lifting cushion preferably consisting of a square circumference, wherein said elastic traction members are attached / fastened straight, diagonally or crosswise between said opposite side walls. The invention is described below as a number of preferred embodiments, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which, Fig. 1 shows sectional views of a lifting cushion seen from the side and in different stages of packing, Fig. 2 shows sectional views of a lifting cushion with variant of in its inner fastened elastic pulling means, Fig. 3 shows sectional views of a lifting cushion with further variant of elastic pulling member attachment in the lifting cushion, Fig. 4 shows top views of lifting cushion with pulling means fastened therein in various ways, and Fig. 5 shows a lifting cushion in perspective shown in different the packing stage.
The invention solves the problem of manually packing a lifting cushion so that it becomes compact and ready for the next lifting. The problem that arises if a lifting pillow is not properly packed is that it is difficult to get the lifting pillow into a cramped space to do a lift. With the present method and device, the lifting cushion automatically packs itself to an optimally thin format.
With reference to the drawings, Figs. 1-4 show the following: Fig. 1 shows how fastening devices 4 are mounted on the inside of a lifting cushion 10, in the center of the lifting cushion 10 seen in height. Fastening devices 4, are connected on the inside of the lifting cushion in its center seen in height on opposite sides 3 with rubber bands 5, tension spring or other material which has a contracting property.
Fig. 2 shows how fastening devices 4 are mounted on both insides of the lifting cushion 3. Fastening devices 6 are also mounted on the lifting cushion 10, below its top surface 1, or on top of its bottom surface 2. One, two or more fastening devices 4, are mounted on the lifting cushion side 3 in its longitudinal direction, and on both sides of the lifting cushion, below its top surface 1, or on top of its bottom surface 2.
Fastening devices 4 are connected on the inside of the center 3 of the lifting cushion, in height and in the lifting cushion of the lifting cushion 6, on the bottom 2 of the lifting cushion inside, or on the inside of the top 1 of the lifting cushion.
In order to obtain the contracting effect required for the lifting cushion to pack itself, a device consisting of a rubber band 5, tension spring or other material having a contracting property is connected.
The contracting device is connected in the fastening device 5, on the inside of the center of the lifting cushion in height and at its other end in the fastening device in the bottom 2 or top 1 of the cushion.
Fig. 3 shows how fastening devices 4 are mounted on both sides of the lifting cushion side 3.
Fasteners 7 are mounted on the lifting cushion, below its top surface 1. Fasteners 6 are mounted on the lifting cushion and on top of its bottom surface 2.
In order to obtain the contraction effect required for the lifting cushion to pack itself, a device 5 consisting of rubber bands, tension spring or other material having a contracting property is coupled together with the sides 3 of the lifting cushion.
The contracting device 5 is coupled in the fastening device 4 at the center of the inside side 3 of the lifting cushion seen in height and at its other end in fastening device 7 below the top 1 of the cushion, or on top of the bottom 2 of the cushion.
Fig. 4 shows the lifting cushion 10 from above with attempts to show attachments 4 on the side of the lifting cushion 3 and 10 mounted in the center of the lifting cushion 10 seen in its height, and attachments 6 located below the top 1 of the lifting cushion or on top of the bottom 2 of the lifting cushion, and attachments 7 under the top 1 of the lifting cushion and attachments on top of the bottom 2 of the lifting cushion.
A lifting cushion 10 can be filled via a valve 11 with e.g. compressed air, water or other suitable fluid 12, and when said fluid 12 is released and the pressure in the lifting cushion 10 decreases, rubber bands or other suitable elastic members 5 begin to contract so that the opposite sides 3 of the lifting cushion approach each other. When the lifting cushion 10 is almost completely emptied, said pulling means continue e.g. the rubber band to contract the sides 3 of the lifting cushion 10 until the lifting cushion 10 is completely emptied, the lifting cushion 10 being pre-packed in a flat condition.
A method for packing one such as e.g. with fluid 12, lifting cushion 10, air, gas or water fillable is available in such a way as to allow elastic members 5 inside said lifting cushion 10 to contract sides or other portions of said lifting cushion 10 in connection with or after emptying the lifting cushion 10 on fluid 12 More specifically, at least a pair of the opposite sides 3 of the lifting cushion are contracted by means of rubber bands, springs or other similar elastic members 5. Said sides 3 are contracted so that a fold of fold 13 is formed in the middle of the lifting cushion, seen in height . Suitably, said elastic pulling means 5 are connected in the interior 14 of the lifting cushion via fastening devices 4, 6 which are placed in desired intended places, preferably which are fastened on the inside of said lifting cushion 10 to opposite side walls 3. Said elastic means 5 are fixedly attached. crosswise or diagonally opposite side walls 3 of the lifting cushion 10. A device 20 for carrying out said method for packing one with fluid 12, such as e.g. air, gas or water-fillable lifting cushion 10, is formed by a number of elastic pulling members 5 which are attached to opposite side walls 3 of a lifting cushion 10 preferably consisting of a square circumference, said elastic pulling means 5 being fastened / fastened straight, diagonally or crosswise between said opposing side walls 3. Thereby a number of fastening devices 4, 6 for said elastic members 5 are placed at and opposite opposite side walls 3. Said fastening devices 4, 6 for said elastic means 5 are placed in pairs on the middle 23 of the lifting cushion, at the lower bottom corner of the lifting cushion 22 and / or at the upper top corner of the lifting cushion 24. Said elastic members 5 have such a tensile capacity that together with the weight of the upper cushion top 1 it is possible to pack the lifting cushion 10 into a flat package 30 after, or in connection with emptying containing fluid 12 from the inner cushion cavity 14.

Modifications are possible, in particular as regards the nature of the various parts, or by the use of equivalent technology, without departing from the scope of the invention as defined in the claims.
