1015202530the timing of when opening such a valve assembly is criticalfor the function of the emergency brake. Such valve assemblies are for example described in JPHOl262238and DE3025388. However, arrangements of these kinds thatemploy electromagnets, are unreliable regarding correct timingsince several parts such as detectors and a control unit arerequired to control the electromagnet. All these parts enhancecosts and increases the risk of malfunction. It is therefore an object of the present invention to providean uncomplicated valve assembly that provides a securefunctionality with correct timing for its opening. Said object is achieved by means of a vehicle brakingarrangement comprising a braking plate and a link arm arrangedto connect the braking plate to a vehicle. The braking plateis movable from a rest position with a certain groundclearance to a braking position where contact is made with theground. The braking 'plate further comprises a sealing rim, running circumferentially and being arranged to at leastpartially contact the ground. in the braking position, suchthat an at least partly enclosed volume then is formed betweenThe vehicleis fluidlythe braking plate and the ground. brakingarrangement comprises a low pressure source thatconnectable to the volume via a valve assembly. The valve assembly comprises at least one openable portion ina separating layer having 'a certain thickness with. a firstside that is arranged to face the ground, and a second sidethat is arranged to face away from the ground. Said at leastone openable portion has a corresponding at least partlycircumferentially 'running weakened. portion defining 'a break1015202530line. The valve assembly further comprises at least one breakmember that is attached to the second side of the separatinglayer, at least partly inside a corresponding break line. Saidat least one break member is arranged to be nwved such thatthe corresponding openable portion is opened at least partlyalong its break line by means of a decelerating mass acting onsaid break member when the braking plate reaches the brakingposition. According to an example, all break members are positionedinside an enclosure that either * is a low pressure source, and / or is connected to at least one low pressure source. According to another example, each one of said at least onebreak member comprises a corresponding break part that isattached. to the second. side of the separating 'layer, and. acorresponding rod part that extends away from the second sideof the separating layer and presents a certain angle againstsaid second side. Said rod part has a first end and a secondend, where said, first end. is attached, to the correspondingbreak part. According to another example, said rod part is arranged to atleast indirectly rest against a fixed surface when the brakingplate is moved from the rest position to the braking position. Said second end is arranged to move away from the fixedsurface when the braking plate has reached the brakingposition such that said angle is decreased and such that saidrod part exerts a bending force on a corresponding break part. Said break part is then arranged to move along with thecorresponding rod part such that each corresponding openableportion is opened at least partly along its break line.1015202530According to another example, each one of said at least onebreak member comprises at least one break part that isattached to the second side of the separating layer, and atat least one lever part that is attached to and extends away fromat least one break part at a certain distance from the secondside of the separating layer. The valve assembly comprises atat least one moveable part that is movable to and from said leverparty. Said at least one moveable part is arranged:to rest against a corresponding lever part when the brakingplate is in the rest position,to move away from said lever part when the braking plate ismoved from the rest position to the braking position, andto move against said lever part when the braking plate hassuch thatreached. the braking position said lever part ispressed towards the second side of the separating layer. Then, said at least one moveable part exerts a bending forceon each corresponding break part via said. lever * part (32),where said break part then is arranged to move such that eachcorresponding openable portion is opened at least partly alongits break line. According to another example, each of said at least one leverpart is attached to and extends between at least two breakparts at a certain distance from the second side of theseparating layer. Other examples are evident from the dependent claims. A number of advantages are obtained by næans of the presentinvention. Mainly, an uncomplicated valve assembly for avehicle vacuum emergency brake is provided, having a securefunctionality with correct timing for its opening.1015202530LETTER DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGSThe presentwith reference to the appended drawings,FigureFigureFigureFigureFigureFigureFigureFigurel shows ainvention. will now be described. more in detailwhere:schematical side view of a vehicle duringnormal running with the vehicle braking arrangementin its rest position;shows a schematical side view of a vehicle with thevehicle braking arrangement in braking position;shows a schematical perspective bottom view of avehicle braking plate;shows a schematical section side view of a firstexample of a vehicle braking plate in a first state;shows a schematical section side view of the firstexample of the vehicle braking plate in a secondstate;shows a schematical cut-open top view of the firstexample of the vehicle braking 'plate without breakmembers;shows a schematical cut-open top view of the firstexample of the vehicle braking 'plate in the firststate;shows a schematical cut-open top view of the firstexample of the vehicle braking 'plate in the secondstate;1015202530Figure 9 shows a schematic section side view of a secondexample of a vehicle braking plate in a first state;Figure 10 shows a schematical section side view of the secondexample of the vehicle braking plate in a secondstate; andFigure ll shows a schematical side view of alternative lowPIGSSUIG SOUICGS. DETAILED DESCRIPTIONWith reference to Figure l, showing a side view of a vehicle1, where the vehicle l comprises wheels 2, 3 which. are incontact with the ground. 4 during 'normal running. Here, thevehicle l is assumed to be running in a forward direction V. At the rear of the vehicle l, attached to a bottom floor 5, anemergency braking 'system. 6 is arranged. and is shown. in itsrest position during normal running conditions, more or lessobscured by the outer body of the vehicle l, and preferablyarranged to not disturb the vehicle's normal ground clearanceG. Figure 2 corresponds to Figure l, but here the emergencybraking systen1 6 is shown with the braking 'plate 7 in thebraking position. The braking plate "7 has here rapidly beendisplaced towards the ground to a braking position, forexample by means of a pre-loaded spring 8a, as shown in Figure3, being comprised in a link assembly 8. With reference to Figure 3, the braking plate 7 comprises asealing rim 9, running circumferentially and providing asealing between the braking plate 7 and the ground. 4. An1015202530enclosed volume 10 is formed between the braking plate 7 andthe ground 4 when the braking plate is in the brakingposition. The volume 10 may not be completely enclosed due toleakage in the sealing rim 9, for example due to unevenessesin the surface of the ground 4. The emergency braking system 6 comprises a low pressure source11 that is fluidly connectable to the volume 10 via a valveassembly 12 (not shown in Figure 3). The low pressure source 11 may be in the form. of a lowpressure container as shown in Figure 3, but this is only anexample. The low pressure source 11 may for example also be inthe form of an expanding volume, a Venturi tube, an engine airintake system or similar. An expanding volume may for examplebe in the form of a tubular airbag that separates two opposingwalls, attached to the tubular airbag, when the tubular airbagis inflated. How the pressure is lowered in the inner volume is not part ofthis invention, many different arrangements are of coursepossible. In the following, the present invention will be described withreference to Figure 4, Figure 5, Figure 6, Figure 7 and FigureFigure 4 shows a side section view of a first example ofthe braking plate when the braking plate is nwved from therest position to the braking position, and Figure 5 shows acorresponding view when the braking plate is in the brakingposition. Figure 6, Figure 7 and Figure 8 show a cut-open topview of the first example of the braking plate. Figure 6 showsthe valve assembly without any break members, Figure 7corresponds to Figure 4 and Figure 8 corresponds to Figure 5.1015202530According to the present invention, the valve assembly 12comprises two openable portions 14, 15 in a separating layer13 having a certain thickness with a first side 13a that isarranged to face the ground 4 and a second side 13b that isarranged to face away from the ground 4. Each openable portion14, 15 has a corresponding at least partly circumferentiallyrunning 'weakened. portion 16, 17 defining a break line. Thevalve assembly 12 further comprises two break members 18, 29;inside each. break line 16, 17 a corresponding first breaksecond break member 19 is attached to the14, 15 onmember 18 andopenable portions the second side 13a of theseparating layer. The break members 18, 19 are arranged to bemoved such that the openable portions 14, 15 are opened atleast partly along the break lines 16, 17 by means of adecelerating mass acting on the break members 18, 19 when thebraking plate 7 reaches the braking position. In this example, the break line 16, 17 or only partly circumferentiallyrunning, but may have a circumferential extension. Furthermore, here the mass acting on the break members 18, 19is in the break members 18, 19 themselves, rod 26 that will be described below.and in a connectingMore in detail, each break member 18, 19 comprises acorresponding break part 20, 21 that is attached to theopenable portions 14, 15 on the second side 13b of theseparating layer. Each break member 18, 19 also comprises arod part 22, 23 that extends away from the second side 13b ofthe separating layer and presents a certain angle 6 against23 has a correspondingsaid second page 13b. Each rod part 22,first end 24a, where each firstend 24a,25a and second end 24b, 25b,25a is attached to the corresponding break part 20,21, and the second ends are attached to each other by means of1015202530a connecting rod 26. The valve assembly 12 is comprised in alow pressure container '11 positioned. on the second. surface13b, having an inner volume V1. In this example, this means that the low pressure source is inthe forn1 of a low pressure container, but that is only anexample. The valve assembly 12 should be comprised in acontainer, but that container does not have to be a lowpressure container, but any container that in turn isconnected to an external low pressure source of any suitablekind, for example as discussed above. Combinations of lowpressure sources are of course conceivable. The connecting rod 26 is arranged. to rest against. a fixedsurface 27 mounted to the low pressure container 11 when thebraking plate 7 is moved from the rest position to the brakingposition. The connecting rod 26, and thus the second ends 24b,25b, are arranged to move away from the fixed surface 27 whenthe braking plate 7 has reached the braking position such thatsaid angle 6 is decreased, and such that the rod parts 22, 23exert a bending force on the corresponding break part 20, 21,The break parts 20, 21 are arranged to move along with the rodparts 22, 23 such that the openable portions 14, 15 are openedat least partly along the corresponding break lines 16, 17. In other words, when the braking plate "7 is moved from therest position to the braking position, the rod parts 22, 23and the connecting rod 26 are accelerated, and when thebraking plate 7 is moved from the rest position to the brakingposition these parts are rapidly decelerated, continuing theirmotion due to inertia, and performing the opening of the openableportions 14, 15. During the acceleration, the rod parts 22, 23101520253010and the connecting rod 26 are held motionless due to the fixedsurface 27.is opened asIn the braking position, the valve assembly 12described above, and then the pressure is lowered in thevolume 10 by means of the low pressure source 11 that becomesfluidly connected with the volume 10. The braking plate 7 isthen pressed against the ground. 4 by a conferred. pressuredifference between air outside the volume 10 and air in thevolume 10 such that a retaining force between the brakingplate 7 and the ground 4 is obtained. The retaining force is dependent on the magnitude of pressuredrop, which in its turn is dependent on the sealing propertiesof the sealing rim, and the capacity of the low pressuregeneration. A second example of a valve assembly 12 'will now be describedwith. reference to Figure 9 and. Figure 10. Figure 9 shows aside section view of a first example of the braking plate whenthe braking plate is moved from. the rest position to thebraking 'position, and Figure 10 shows a corresponding viewwhen the braking plate is in the braking position. As shown in Figure 9, the emergency braking system 6 'comprises a the valve assembly 12 'which in turn comprises abreak member 28 that comprises a first break part 30, a secondbreak part 31 and a lever part 32, where the break parts 30,31 are attached to the openable portions 14, 15 on the second13battached to,side of the separating layer. The lever part 32 isand extends between, said break parts 30, 31 at acertain distance from the second side 13b of the separatinglayer.101520253011The valve assembly 12 'comprises a moveable part 33, here inthe form of a cylinder, that is movable to and from the leverpart 32 along an axis 34 extending perpendicular to theseparating layer 13. The cylinder 33 is arranged to restagainst the lever part 32 when the braking plate 7 is in therest position, to move away from the lever part 32 when thebraking plate 7 is moved from the rest position to the brakingposition, and. to move against the lever part 32 when thebraking plate 7 has reached. the braking position. Then thelever part 32 is pressed by the cylinder 33 towards the secondside of the separating layer, as shown in Figure 10. The cylinder 33 then exerts a bending force on the break parts30, 31 via the lever part 32, where the break parts 30, 31then are arranged to move along with the cylinder 33 and thelever part 32 such that the openable portions 14, 15 areopened at least partly along their corresponding break lines16, 17. In other words, when the braking plate "7 is moved from therest position to the braking position, the cylinder 33 isaccelerated, and when the braking plate 7 is nmved from therest position to the braking position, the cylinder is rapidlydecelerated, continuing its motion due to inertia, and performingthe opening of the openable portions 14, 15. During theacceleration, the cylinder is pressed against a top roof ofthe low pressure container 11. The cylinder 33 may be any form of Hmveable part such as asuitable weight that runs along the axis 34. In order for themoveable part 33 to run along the axis 34 it is guided in a101520253012suitable way, for example by 'being' positioned. in a guidingtube 35 as indicated with a dashed line. In the second example, the mass acting on the break member isseparate from the break member. The invention is not limited to the examples above, but mayvary freely within the scope of the appended claims. Forexample, the link arm 8 is in Figure 3 shown to comprise aspring arrangement 8a which is arranged. to enable a quickdeployment of the braking plate 7, but other such arrangementsare conceivable, such as pyrotechnical deploymentarrangements. The emergency braking system 6 is generally constituted by avehicle braking arrangement. Generally, as mentioned previously, the valve assembly 12should be comprised in a container, but that container doesnot have to be a low pressure container, but may be acontainer, or more generally an enclosure, that is connectedto a low pressure source. In Figure 11, the valve assembly 12is schematically indicated to be positioned in a container 36that is not a low pressure source, and which container 36 isfluidly connectable to a low pressure source 37 via a valve 38and a tube 39. The low pressure source 37 may for example be alow pressure container, a Venturi tube, an engine air intake, and / or combinations thereof. There may be any suitable number of break members in a valveassembly 12, 12 'according to the present invention, wheresome may be connected to each other. There may thus be one ormore connecting rods 26, where a connecting rod may connect101520253013two or more rod parts. Independently of if the a rod part isconnected to another rod part via a connecting rod or not, atat least one rod part may comprise a weight,24b, 25b, inWhenfor example at itssecond end order to increase the openingfunctionality. there is a connecting rod 26, theconnecting rod may be equipped with an additional weight. Depending on configuration of the valve assembly 12, l2 ', eachbreak member 18,20, 2l; 30, 31.28 may comprise one or several break partsIn the examples above, several break parts mayfor example be connected. to each. other 'in a line and. thenconnected. to one or more rod. parts or lever "parts. In thesecond example, several break parts may be positioned along acircumference where a star-shaped lever part is connected toeach one. Depending 'on the configuration in the second. example, theremay be one or more moveable parts. The number of openable portions is at least one, the number ofbreak members and the form of the break member being adaptedto the number of openable portions. In the second. examplethere may thus be only one openable portion and a break memberwith only one break part that is attached to a lever part. Where a break line is partly circumferentially running, a partof the corresponding openable portion may still be connectedto the rest of the separating 'layer "l3 and. act as a hingeafter being opened. Otherwise, if a break line iscircumferentially running, the corresponding openable portionwill be detached. from. the rest of the separating layer 13after being opened.1015202514The parts of the break member 'may have different sectionalshapes such as flat, round and U-shaped. The separating layer may be of any suitable material, forexample in the form of a plastic or metal plate. Theseparating layer can be smooth or having a suitable surfacestructure. As an example, the separating layer may have athickness of about O, 8mm, and the thickness of the break linemay beprovided as an example, other thicknesses and relationsbetween the thickness of the separating layer and the breakline are of course possible. The separating layer, which is comprised in the braking plate7, may furthermore have different thicknesses at differentportions, for example in order to acquire a desired rigidity. In order to obtain the opening of the openable portionsaccording to the present invention, the deployment of thebraking plate from the rest position to the braking positionshould have a certain speed, for example in the range of 4m / sto 8m / s. Other ranges are of course conceivable. If thedeployment is too slow, the effect of the decelerating masswill be too small to open the openable portions.
