1015202530the field of technology to design a tank symmetrically so that itfor example, can be placed in a few different places in the vehicle, for example on both the right or left side of the vehicle, andthus in different direction. This achieves a certain costadvantage by having fewer numbers of different tank shapes neededmanufactured and kept in stock.
One problem is being able to construct / design a tank so that itcan fit in different interior layouts / chassis configurations and so onthat it can be mounted in several different places / places anddirections in a vehicle.
It is also associated with significant costs, in addition to thatcan take a considerable amount of time, to develop and tooperate a specially adapted and designed tank. To manufacturetanks in low volumes are always costly which contributesthat in practice one often chooses to use one on the marketexisting and provided tank which then does not havean optimal design in all respects for the currentthe use or for the current location in the vehicle.
A disadvantage of known tanks with custom design can alsobe that they are not so easy to disassemble from their specialspace and thus not so easy to replace if they for examplestarted leaking due to an accident, an injury orsimilar.
A desire of the present invention is therefore thatdevelop a new form of tank in which its outer casing andnecessary connections are designed so that a high degree of flexibilityachieved in terms of placement and installation in a vehicle. It is desirable that the same tank can be placed on different sides inthe vehicle and in accessible spaces and that it can be turnedbut also that it can"Rear and front", ie rotated 180 degrees,1015202530placed in an upright position. Such a tank canstored in larger volumes and results in a pileflexibility in terms of placement in the vehicle. The idea shouldpreferably hold 50-100 liters of fuel or other liquid, such as e.g. Urea (eg "Ad Blue") or similar. Severaltanks can be easily connected using hoses or pipesin order to achieve a sufficiently high tank volume for the vehiclein question.
Attempts have been made in the past to propose different designs.thoughts in order to achieve a high degree of flexibility in terms oftotal tank volume and location in the vehicle.
WO2009 / 051526 describes, for example, a tank consisting of differentmodules that can be built together in different combinations. The modulescan thereby be used to put together thoughts that canmounted in different places in the vehicle. This contributes to oneincreased cost efficiency.
DE102005050803 describes another construction of a tank withsimilar purpose. Each module has been fitted with a mounting partdesigned as a sleeve which fits against a corresponding onemounting part on adjacent module.
DE102005038807 describes yet another construction ofa tank consisting of different modules which can be assembledto a larger unit.
Prior art does not show any individual construction that solvesthe above-mentioned problems and which enable one and the samedesign can be used in different places and for differentdirections in a vehicle. Known technology means that onecombines different modules but this is complicated and requiresa variety of assembly phases to achieve a complete1015202530tank. It does not facilitate the assembly work and no one is knownconstruction indicates a tank design in accordance withthe present invention. Unfortunately, known constructions also leadto an increased risk of assembly failure and leakage, which onereally want to avoid, because it creates many joints inthese modular constructions. The modules must be completely assembledcorrect so that leakage and other problems do not occur.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAn object of the invention is to solve the above-mentioned problemsand to demonstrate a single thought unit that allows a flexibleplacement in, for example, a vehicle, e.g. on different pages inthe vehicle and how it is oriented.
A further object of the invention is that the tank shouldbe easy to place in different directions to allowplacement in different available spaces.
Another object of the invention is to provide cost-effectiveadvantages in that the same tank design can be used for differentplacement which leads to larger production volumes andthus lower unit cost.
Another purpose is to shorten the lead time for the development of new onesvehicles in that the tank does not need to be specially adapted toavailable spaces.
An additional purpose is to reduce the production cost ofvehicles because fewer articles / parts need to be kept in stockor handled at the production line.1015202530A further object of the invention is that the tank shouldbe functional and easy and cost-effective to manufacture.
These and additional objects and advantages are achieved in accordance withthe finding through a tank defined by the features specified inthe characterizing part of the independent claim 1.
The invention is achieved by providing the tank with stiffenerson its substantially otherwise flat side surfaces. The stiffenersat the same time constitutes the mounting location for luminaires, collars and / or bottom valves.
The tank can be designed with different geometric shapes, one of whichsimple design is shown in the attached figures. A preferred anduseful design is a tank with essentially rectangularpages. The tank is advantageously manufactured in a metal or plasticmaterial. Each side is provided with squeezing and / or squeezingintended i.a. to increase the dimensional rigidity of the side walls. Kind of-at least two of the sides of the tank are provided with an indentation, thus a recess, intended for mounting a luminaire ofappropriate kind. The luminaire can be mounted in this recess, for example by means of a bayonet connection, and consistsfor example by a pickup unit, a level sensor, a connection forfuel suction / fuel pumping or similar. Also a filtercan be arranged in connection with the luminaire and the indentation.
It is suggested that at least two of the outer sides of the tank be provided with onethus a bulge, blackmail, which it also serves asstiffening of the side surfaces of the tank. Centered in this blackmaila bottom plug is suitably mounted, for example screwed intothe side surface of the tank by means of a thread or the like.
The bottom plug makes it possible to empty the tank. When emptyingthe tank, it is desirable that the bottom valve is placed so lowas possible, resulting in the tank being emptiedmore efficient. This is facilitated if the bottom valve is located1015202530mounted in a blackout which thus constitutes the lowestlocated the surface.
In one of the side surfaces of the tank, for example a sloping side wall,is arranged a regular filling collar or neck through whichfuel or other liquid can be filled into the tank.
By arranging these presses, squeezes and afilling neck in the inventive tank, and bydesign the tank substantially symmetrically, a relativewise rigid construction that is easy to place on anyand free space in, for example, a vehicle, under a chair, inthe chassis or other suitable place. The tank can be easily placedin the direction of forward, backward, transverse or standing, everythingdepending on the space available.
Important advantages of the construction according to the invention arethat the tank becomes relatively simple to manufacture and lightweightto stack and store and, through higher manufacturingvolumes, more cost-effective compared to today knownconstructions.
A tank construction according to the invention also allows a simpleassembly and can also be easily disassembled if neededoccurs, while the construction thus allows a pileflexibility in terms of placement in the vehicle and how itorienteras.
A further advantage of the solution according to the invention isthat it does not require that a series of variants of thoughts mustproduced and kept in stock and handled during productionline. This makes it easier, cheaper and easier toimplement the new solution at existing productionfacilities.101520253035Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent fromthe following, in more detail, the description of the inventionand of the attached drawings and other patent claims.
BRIEF LIST OF DRAWINGSThe invention is described in more detail below in some preferred embodiments.examples based on the accompanying drawings.

Figure 5 shows a plan view of the same tank with extensions inthe bottom surface and end surface of the tank are displayed.
Figure 6 shows a view from the rear end surface of the tank with itsblackmail is clearer.
Figure 7 shows a side plan view of an alternative designof thought.
Figure 8 shows a perspective view obliquely from above of the tank according tofigure 7.101520253035Figure 9 shows a perspective view obliquely from the side of the tankaccording to Figures 7 and 8, but placed in an upright position, whereinboth squeezing and squeezing, as well as several filling necks, appears.
DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTSFigure 1 thus shows a perspective view obliquely from the front of onetank 1 according to the invention, wherein recesses 2a, b arearranged in the upper surface 3 of the tank and in its end surface 4.
The indentations 2a, b are in this exemplary embodimentcircularly designed and intended to stiffen the plane of the tanksurfaces but also intended for mounting a luminaire orsimilar (not shown). The indentations 2a, b in the tank surfaces 3,4can advantageously be designed with step 5. A filling collar orneck 6 is arranged in an inclined surface 7 in the front of the tank 1part.refilling of liquids or fuels in tank l and itsThe filling collar or neck 6 is intended to enableplacement in the inclined surface 7 makes it possible to mountthe tank l in a horizontal position as in the picture or in an upright positionposition. In addition, several tanks can easily be stacked oneach other, e.g. during storage or during installation invehicle, since the filling collar or neck 6 can be designedso that it does not extend beyond the thought l of thoughtextension 8 of the connecting outer side surfaces 3,4, seedashed mark in the figure.
Figure 2 shows a view directly from above of a tank 1 according to figure 1wherein the indentation 2a in the upper surface 3 of the tank 1, for exampleintended for mounting a luminaire (not shown), appears. INthe rear end end 9 of the tank 1 is provided with a blackout 10a whichis primarily intended for mounting a bottom valve (not shown) inin case the tank l is to be mounted in the vehicle uprightposition.
Figure 3 shows a view from the front end of the tank 11 of the tank 1, whereina recess 2b and the filling collar or neck 6101520253035appears. Also a blackmail 10b, arranged in the tank 1bottom surface l2, This squeezing 10b is primarily intendedin that case the thoughtappears.for mounting a bottom valve (not shown)l is mounted in the vehicle in the position shown. All the edges of the tank canadvantageously designed with a radius 13 which facilitatesmanufacturing, especially when the tank l is manufactured by oneplastic material.
By placing the squeezes and squeezes 2, 10 for severaltanks l in the corresponding place, for example centered, in the upper onesand lower surfaces 3, 12, stacking / mounting of several is facilitatedtanks l on each other, then the top of the tank lsqueezing 10b, in its bottom surface l2, fits into the one belowplaced the recess 2a of the tank 1, in its upper surface 3.
Figure 4 shows a perspective view obliquely from the side of anstanding tank 1, according to the invention. The filling ofliquid / fuel takes place via the filling collar or neck 6,arranged in the inclined surface 7 of the tank 1, and pumping outlevel measurement etc takes place via therefore arranged equipment(hereliquid,(not shown) mounted in the recess 2b in the front of the tank 1upper) gable surface 4.
Figure 5 shows a plan view of the same tank 1 oriented in the sameposition in which extensions 10b in the bottom surface 12 and the tankend surface 9 is displayed. In this exemplary embodiment, two are providedblackouts 10a, b and two blackouts 2a, b.
A bottom valve (not shown) is always placed in the lowestplaced the blackmail l0a to enable an efficient(not shown)emptying of liquid / fuel and a luminaire are placedalways in the highest position 2a, to be able tomeasure liquid / fuel level and suck / pump liquid / fuel out oftanken l.
Figure 6 shows a view from the rear end surface 9 of the tank 1, whereinits lower extortion 10b is apparent. This end surface 9 formsbottom when the tank l is placed / mounted in an upright position.10152025303510Figure 7 shows a side plan view of an alternative designof thought I. A number of different external forms are thus possible toapply to a tank l without deviating from the basicthe idea of invention. In this case, the idea l is embodied in oneL-shape, ie two subvolumes 14a, b of the tank 1 are placed inangle to each other. In this embodiment, the angle is right, ie90 degrees, but it is of course also conceivable thatthey relate to each other from a different angle.
A tank 1 with this design is particularly advantageous formounting on a vertical edge (see fig. 9) in a vehicle when it canadapted to, for example, the space under or at onepassenger seat and in that position allow a passenger tosit on top of the highest surface of the tank and restfeet on the lower placed surface. Another possibleplacement of this tank I is next to a beam which allowsthe lower part of the tank can be placed under the beam and itthe second part next to the beam. In this design are bothtank end ends l5a, b partly provided with an oblique surface l6a, bon which a filling collar or neck 6 is arranged partly oneflat surface 11 in which a recess 2b is provided.
Extrusions 10b are provided on the lower surface 17 and surface of the tanksidoyta 18.
Figure 8 shows a perspective view obliquely from above from tank Iaccording to Figure 7, its angular shape being clearer.
Figure 9 shows a perspective view obliquely from the side of the tank 1but here placed in an upright position,(2, l0)according to Figures 7 and 8,in which squeezing and squeezing as well as the filling collarsor the necks (6) appear.
The above description is primarily intended to facilitatethe scope of the invention and is, of course, not limitedto the specified embodiments but also other variants ofthe invention are possible and conceivable within the scope of the invention.the concept of protection and the scope of subsequent claims.
