SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to methods and pockedsized devices for stain removal from textiles. A device that contains a combination of somesmall magnets or two ring magnets with twodividable parts that are placed inside andoutside of the textile, respectively, limit the areathat becomes wet during treatment (Figure 1).Water flows through the textile and removes thestain. The water pressure and the flow throughthe fabric act as mechanical treatment. Nofurther energy source is needed. Depending onthe kind of stain, cold or Warm water might beapplied. The magnets press the fabric togetherwhich results in a lower rate of liquid absorptionoutside of the treatment area which is as big asthe holes in the magnets. A flexible tube isconnected to each of the magnets. One tube isconnected to a water tap witch might have anexpandable end or another connection systemand the second one that diverts the water toavoid that bigger parts of the texture becomeswet. In this arrangement it is possible to apply thesystem without removing the clothes. Liquid soap or other cleaning agents might beprovided in the system using a Y-connector.The textile and the device can be rinsed withwater to remove all chemicals. For drying the textile, a connection to a (hand)dryer might be possible. The invention is also directed to a minimizedversion in which small magnets or one ring-magnet is integrated in the water tap or in thedrying system. The device is portable due to the easy and smallconstruction and no maintenance costs occur.

[2] [0002] Some spots on textiles are difficult to remove without the appropriate equipment. It is much challenging to remove spots without wetting the whole fabric while away from home.
[3] [0003] For stain removal, there are some spray, liquid based or semi-solid portable systems are available (US3664962). Those systems are based on chemicals such as determinants or bleaching compounds (US5885954). Thus, the systems are not applicable for all kinds of textile. The bleaching effect might be to strong and the daily transport of liquid chemicals is not convenient. Chemicals might also result in cutaneous reactions.
[4] [0004] Portable stain removal systems that use brushes are described in U51468671, US7303347, and other patents. The mechanical treatment of stains in combination with liquids, water at least, leads often to a successful removal.
[5] [0005] Due to the liquid absorbent properties of most textiles the stain removal on the way results in most cases in soaking water in bigger parts of the textiles as needed. Even if the stain was removed, a big part of the textiles becomes wet. To overcome this disadvantage, a brushed based system, which can be applicated in a limited area, was described in patent US5707163. This system consists of mechanical elements such as brushes which results in the necessity to replace some parts after a period. Furthermore a squeeze bottle is necessary and thus the inventions becomes bigger than pocket sized. A third disadvantage is the fact that the stain removing unit is not 45 fixed on the stain.

Claims (4)
[1] 1. A method and a device that removes stains from textiles which consists of an arrangement of 2 ring magnets or a combination of small magnets that limit the area that becomes wet during treatment.
[2] 2. The method and a device of claim 1 in which a) one part of the device that contains a magnet or few small magnets is integrated in the water tap or in a drying system and the second one leads the water away from the fabric; b) both parts of the device are connected to tubs in which one can be connected to the water tap or to drying systems.
[3] 3. The method and a device of claim 2 in which the device is portable with the exception of the built-in water tap magnet.
[4] 4. The method and a device of claim 2b wherein the tube that is connected to the water tap contains a construction, for instance a Y-connector, for application of liquid soap or other cleaning agents.
