Correspondingly, Figure 2 shows a device according to the invention seen from behind. According to the invention, devices essentially comprise a working member 11 in the direction of the ditch 10. Here, the working means 11 comprises a rotatably arranged shaft 12, which is furthermore arranged to be inclined at an angle relative to the bottom plane 13 of the trench 10. In addition, the shaft 12 includes flexible means 14 for 3 repair of the trench 10 as the shaft 12 rotates. Thanks to the flexible means, the device is durable, since the flexible means compensate for any stones, roots and stumps present in the ditch. In Figure 1, the device has been connected to a mini harvester 15, which can be driven on the ditch edges 16 (especially Figure 2). Trees that grow right at the edge of the ditch should still be removed, as such a tree has little prospect of growing to fellability.
The mini harvester is advantageously equipped with caterpillar tracks. In the original condition, a mini harvester has increased hydraulic production, which is why the device's driving force is taken e.g. via a hydraulic motor On the other hand, the shaft of the PTO shaft can also be used, if one is present on the work machine. Figure 1 shows a hinge shaft 18 which is included in the power transmission. The device is also connected to the three-point lift 19 of the mini harvester 15.
According to the invention, in different places of the shaft 12 there are flexible members 14 of different lengths (Figures 1 and 2). In this case, the ditch has 10 oblique edges. The length of the flexible members is advantageously chosen so that the shape of the working member corresponds to the original shape of the trench. For a v-shaped ditch, the length of the members increases continuously along the axis. On the other hand, by choosing to increase the length of the members, one can, for example, progressively achieve a ditch whose slope changes (not shown).
Here, each flexible member 14 is made of chain. Chain is flexible but still has enough rigidity and sharpness to repair a ditch. In addition. the properties of the chain can be changed, whereby the repair capacity of the device and. on the other hand, power requirements can be regulated. Advantageously, the flexible members 4 are arranged to be individually detachable. In this case, e.g. easily a damaged chain is replaced. The chains are arranged advantageously symmetrically radially, the rotation of the shaft remaining in balance. At the end of the chain there may be an extra body, which increases the cutting effect of the chain and at the same time strives to keep the chain straight (not shown). In addition to or instead of a chain, a suitable chain or wire can also be used. A flexible body consisting of short bodies can also be used.
The shaft is advantageously inclined, whereby the flexible members of different lengths repair the trench in one working step. Here is the angle d 30 - 8 between the shaft 12 and the bottom plane 13 of the ditch 10. The more obliquely the shaft is arranged, the better the material is removed from the ditch. The device comprises a frame structure 17, in relation to which the working member 11 is arranged to be rotatable. In this case, the position of the working member can be regulated, even though the frame construction is mounted in the mini harvester or rests on the ditch edges 16 as in Figures 1 and 2.
The shaft can have supports at both ends, whereby a relatively narrow shaft can be used. The effect of the device is based mainly on the kinetic energy of the chains and the chains are mainly straight and bend when they hit a hard object. The support structure is advantageously located in the rear part of the device, whereby the chains can strike without obstacles. With a suitable change of the support structure, the direction of the ejected material can be changed, if an at least partially open support structure is used.
In an application according to Figures 1 - 6, however, the shaft 12 is supported only at one end. This simplifies the construction of the device and also enables an efficient repair of the bottom of the ditch.
The positioning of the working member is also simple and it has a wide trajectory of movement. The device essentially comprises a frame construction 17, in relation to which the working member 11 is arranged to be rotatable. In this case, the frame construction can be in the same position during the repair and only the position of the working member 5 can be changed. In the application now shown, the frame structure 17 also comprises members 20, which are located at a distance corresponding to the width 10 of the ditch from each other. In this case, the device can support against the ground, more specifically against the edges of the ditch.
This facilitates the use of the device and reduces the load on the work machine. Then e.g. the three-point lift during repair is set in a floating position, whereby both the work machine and the device itself can follow the shape of the terrain. In figure, the working means 11 is in an upper position, where it is located inside the frame structure 17. In figure 4, the working means 11 is turned obliquely downwards, whereby it extends to the bottom of the ditch if necessary. Shown here for clarity would not be the flexible means.
In the application shown, the working member 11 is attached to a gearbox 21, which is rotatably attached to the body structure.17. With such a solution, many benefits are obtained. First, you get. using a gearbox desired. rotational speed of the working member. Secondly, the working means is firmly carried by the gearbox, which enables the working means to be supported at only one end. Third, the position and path of movement of the working member become advantageous. The torque can be rotated by a simple and short hydraulic cylinder 22.
Figure 5 shows a ready-to-use device. Here are three fastening pins 23 for the work machine's three-point lift. The gearbox 21 is attached to the frame structure 17 with two pivots 24. By selecting a suitable attachment point, the power shaft 25 included in the gearbox 211 can be made to be held substantially in place in the height joint, whereby the working member has a wide angle of rotation without unnecessary load on the pivot shaft. At the same time, the gearbox can be rotated with a short hydraulic cylinder, one end of which is fixed in the frame structure and the other end in the mounting ear 26 in the upper part of the gearbox 21.
The frame structure 17 also comprises a protective structure 27 which covers the upper part of the device. In this case, the material that is loosened and reduced by the flexible means is spread evenly to the edges of the ditch 6 without flying any further. At the same time, the protective construction prevents e.g. stones and chain parts are thrown at the user. At least a part of the protective structure 27 consists of an openable lid 28. In the application according to Figure 5, the largest part of the protective structure consists of two opposite lids 28, which with the bolts 29 are suspended in hinges on the frame structure 17. A locking bolt 30 connects lugs128 to each other. By loosening the locking bolt 30, the lids 28 can be opened, whereby the upper part of the device is opened. In this case, for example, the condition of the flexible members can be inspected and, if necessary, changed. The protective structure is dimensioned so that the working member can rotate when the shaft is in its upper position.
The above-mentioned pivot pins 24 can also be detachably attached.
Thus, if necessary, the whole constituting the working means and the gearbox can be detached quickly and easily. The normal service measures of the gearbox can, however, be carried out on site in the frame construction.
Figure 6a shows the gearbox 21, which in this case comprises an overdrive. The upper gear has been made with two two-track pulleys 31 and 32. A short power shaft 25 is firmly mounted in the mounting plate 33, the position of which in relation to the gearbox housing can be adjusted.
That way, the tension can. in the V-belts' son1 goes ~ between the pulleys is regulated. However, the bearing of the shaft 12 is fixed, which improves the durability of the working means. The pulley 32 of the shaft 12 is larger than the pulley 31 of the power shaft 25, whereby an overdrive is obtained.
The V-belts can be replaced by removing the side plate 34 of the housing.
Figure 6b shows the gearbox 211 and the shaft 12 connected to it. Here, several fastening pieces 35 are fastened to the shaft 12, which have openings 36 for detachable fastening of the chain. More generally, the flexible members are releasably attached to the shaft 12. In this case, worn or damaged chains can be replaced easily and quickly. The flexible members 14 are arranged on the shaft 12 radially with even distribution.
In the application shown, the fastening bit 35 has four openings with 9Ü 7 pitch. More generally, at each point 2-6 there are flexible elements, whereby the working means becomes efficient and rotates in a balanced manner. Some of the openings can also be left unused, and different openings can be used at different points if you only make sure of the work organ's balance. Here there are ten fastening pieces 35 along a meter length. More generally, there are 2 - 12 different points over the length of the shaft 12, more favorable 3 - 10 pieces. Here, too, you can select the required number of points and attach the chain to, for example, every other attachment body.
On the basis of the above, the properties of the working member can be easily changed by changing the number and attachment points of the chains. A change can be easily performed with simple tools. On the other hand, the device may comprise several alternative working means, with different dimensions. In this case, by loosening the gearbox and mounting another gearbox with a shaft in the frame construction, the properties of the device can be quickly changed.
Figure 7 shows another application of a device according to the invention. For functionally the same kind of parts, the same reference number has been used. The principle of operation, in itself corresponds to that described above, but the shaft 12 here has support at both ends. This reduces the stress to which the axle and gearbox are exposed. Here a support frame 37 is used, which consists of one or more longitudinal supports 38 and of the end piece 39, in which the shaft 12 is mounted. The support frame 37 together with the gearbox 21 and the shaft 12 form a frame whole, which is rotatably arranged in relation to the frame structure 17. In the second application, the rotation of the working member 11 is also performed in a different way. Here, the hydraulic cylinder 22 is arranged in a horizontal position on top of the frame structure. In the extension of the hydraulic cylinder a wire 40 has been arranged, which is fixed in the support frame 37. In addition, the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder 22 is protected inside the housing 41. In figure 7 the working member 11 is in the lower position and its angle can be adjusted with the hydraulic cylinder 22. the wire 40 through the guide 42 and follows the different positions of the working member 11. The control 42 can e.g. be a bent pipe or a break wheel. Instead of wires, e.g. load tensioner or cord is used.
Thanks to the flexible wire, the working member is supported floating, whereby it can fold away upwards when it hits an obstacle. At the same time, blows to the hydraulic cylinder are avoided.
Establishment of the forest ditch is one of the basic preconditions for a productive forest and now this can easily be done with a device according to the invention in connection with the thinning.
The device can also be mounted on an agricultural tractor and it can be used for repairing open ditches. Instead of a hydraulic motor, a direct power take-off can be used, especially for tractor applications.
