专利说明:

The present invention relates to a device for wheeled vehicles which comprises a shaft lift for enabling optional lifting of paired wheels and associated axle between a raised position, in which said pair of wheels is supported in a raised position freely at a distance from a ground, and a submerged position, in which said pair of wheels rests against the ground on which the vehicle is intended to be driven.
Known solutions for being able to selectively switch between single or double pairs of wheels, which are in contact with the ground in order to be able to lower the axle pressure on the vehicle at higher loads, are included in large and heavy installations which include many moving and bulky parts. In addition, they are difficult to assemble and are also not suitable for retrofit mounting on vehicles on which one would wish to install such, such as trucks and trailers.
The main object of the present invention is therefore primarily to be able to provide such a device which solves at least a number of the above-mentioned problems and disadvantages.
Said object is achieved by means of a device according to the present invention, which is mainly characterized in that the shaft lift is arranged to be driven by a gas accumulator which is connected via hydraulics to the shock absorber or hydraulic cylinder of said pair of wheels.
The invention is described in the following as a preferred embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which Figs. 1-2 show a pair of wheel axles in lowered normal position, where Fig. 1 shows a side view of one wheel with schematically shown wheel lifting arrangement, and Fig. 2 shows said parts included in its normal position with activated vehicle suspension, Fig. 3-4 shows said wheel axle pairs in raised position free from the ground and with shown lifting function, where Fig. 3 shows a side view of one wheel with schematic shown wheel lifting arrangement, and Fig. 4 shows in said arrangement included parts in shown lifting function position with deactivated suspension, Figs. 5-6 show said wheel axle pairs in prepared reset position, where Fig. 6 shows in said arrangement parts included in the shown reset position with the vehicle suspension in activated position.
The advantages obtained with the present invention include the following: 0 Enables simple, fast and efficient installation on the vehicle. 0 Is largely maintenance-free. 0 Shows light weight. 0 Requires little space on the vehicle. 0 Shows closed hydraulic system. 0 Enables easy retrofitting of lifting equipment on existing trucks with wheels. 0 Has a long service life. 0 Shows no exposed moving parts. 0 Enables easy use.
A device 1 according to the present invention, which is arranged and intended to be applied to a wheeled vehicle 2 which comprises an axle lift 3 to enable selective hoisting of paired wheels 4 and associated axle 5 between a raised position I, in which said pair of wheels 4 is supported in a raised position free at a distance A from a intended suitable base 6, and a lowered position II, in which said pair of wheels 4 rests against the base 6 on which the vehicle 2 is intended to be driven by a gas battery lator 7 in contrast to the previously known device for this, which is driven either by air / mechanical or by electro-hydraulic function / supply. More specifically, the present device 1 is designed so that the shaft lift 3 is driven by a said gas accumulator 7 which is connected via hydraulics to the shock absorber or hydraulic cylinder 8 of said wheel pair 4.
Furthermore, a non-return valve 9 is connected between the gas accumulator 7 and the said number of shock absorbers / hydraulic cylinders 8.
A spring device 10 for said pair of liftable wheels 4 is arranged to be connected to said pair of wheels 4 and the body 11 of the vehicle and is in the form of a fluid suspension which is fillable with fluid and preferably gas in the form of air. This suspension device 10 is arranged to restore and reload the function of the axle lift 3 in the inactivated position I. In the active driving and rest position II of the vehicle 2, with said pair of wheels 4 arranged in the lowered position, said shock absorber / hydraulic cylinder 8 is arranged to function as a normally functioning shock absorber and with the suspension 10 activated. Said respective shock absorber / hydraulic cylinder 8 is attached between the vehicle body 11 and said axle pair 4 axle attachment 12. Between the vehicle body 11 and said suspension 10 extends a beam 13 from which said axle attachment 12 with wheel axle 14 is supported. Between said beam 13 and associated shaft attachment 12 and said vehicle 11 of the vehicle 10, said shock absorber / hydraulic cylinder 8 is fastened via rotary bearings 15,16. Furthermore, the actuation of the accumulator 7 and the hoisting of said liftable pair of wheels 4 is arranged to be effected either manually or electrically.
The function of the device 1 is as follows: Activation of said non-return valve 9 and opening of a passage 17 between the hydraulic part 18 of the gas accumulator 7 and the internal hydraulic fluid space 19 of said shock absorbers / hydraulic cylinders 3 are arranged to actuate said pair of wheels 4 to be lifted 20 from the ground 6 against which the wheel pair 4 rests. The suspension 10 for said pair of wheels 4 is also arranged to propagate via the hydraulic fluid 21 to said shock absorber / hydraulic cylinder 8 for activating and lifting said pair of wheels 4 by means of said shock absorber / hydraulic cylinder 8. The vehicle 2 is driven on fewer wheels to mainly save fuel. in a known way.
Deactivation of the non-return valve 9 and activation of the suspension 10 is arranged to pull apart the shock absorber / hydraulic cylinder 8 so that it is extended and the hydraulic fluid 21 is arranged to be pressed back to the accumulator 7 and thereby retained by means of the non-return valve 9. The function of the shock absorbers 8 is as usual when the vehicle 2 is driven on the road, etc. 6 and with the shock absorber's own enclosed fluid 22 in its separate spaces 23.
Figs. 1 and 2 show the function of the device 1 in its normal position with the wheels 4 lowered towards the ground 6 and the suspension 10 activated.
The lifting function 24 is deactivated and the shock absorber function of the shock absorber / hydraulic cylinder 8 is not used by the inherent lifting part 25 in said cylinder 8.
Figs. 3 and 4 show the function for lowering and resetting the wheels 4: 10 15 20 25 AJ The non-return valve 9 is deactivated and the suspension 10 is activated, ie. pressurized.
B) The shock absorber 8 is pulled apart by the pressure from the suspension 10.
C) Hydraulic oil 21 is pressed back into the accumulator 7.
D) The oil 21 is retained in the accumulator 7 by means of the non-return valve 9.
Figures 5 and 6 show the function of the device 1 in the engaged lifting function. The non-return valve 9 is opened and the suspension 10 is deactivated by releasing the pressure therein. The lifting part 3 in the shock absorber 8 is activated by the accumulator pressure 26 on its pressure side 27. The shock absorber 8 is compressed due to inflowing hydraulic oil 21 in the spaces 19 therein and thus the wheel axle 14 and associated wheels 4 are lifted in the lifting direction 28 so that the wheels 4 are raised to a certain distance A from the ground 6.
The function and nature of the device should have been apparent from what was described above and what is shown in the drawings.
The invention is of course not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the accompanying drawings. Modifications are possible, in particular as regards the nature of the various parts, or by the use of equivalent technology, without departing from the scope of the invention as defined in the claims.
