The present invention relates to a device for a pump (1), which is intended for pumping the pumpable food product (2), e.g. fruit or vegetable products, out of at least one food container (3). Said food products (2) have a liquid or semi-liquid consistency and contain constituents (2a) with a firmer consistency e.g. strawberry pieces, pineapple pieces or cucumber pieces. The pump (1) has a pump housing (5), a pump chamber (6) arranged therein and a pump body (7) arranged in the pump chamber (6). This material consists or has such an elastic material that by being subjected to pump movements it can be expanded to pump food product (2) out of the pump chamber (6) and is capable of rotating to create a negative pressure therein and thereby suck food product (2) from the food container (3) into it. At least one bypass channel (9) is arranged outside the pump chamber (6) and is connected to it through at least one opening (10). The by-pass channel (9) is arranged to allow the food product (2) to be sucked into it by means of the pump body (6) and through the opening into the pump chamber5. The by-pass channel (9) is furthermore designed to allow said components (2b) to pass the pump chamber (5) by passing through the through-flow channel 9. (Figure 1).

Description of a preferred embodiment of the pump according to the invention.
The pump 1 shown in the figures is intended to pump out food product 2 from a food container 3. The food product 2 has a liquid or semi-liquid consistency and contains constituents 2a with a firmer consistency. Thus, the food product 2 can be a fruit product, e.g. strawberry marmalade, orange marmalade, lingonberry jam or pineapple dessert and the firmer ingredients 2a can be strawberry pieces or strawberries, orange pieces, lingonberries or pineapple pieces. The food product 2 can alternatively be a vegetable product, e.g. dressing and ingredients 2a can be cucumber pieces or pieces of other vegetables.
In the embodiment according to the figures, the pump 1 has a pump housing 4, a pump chamber 5 arranged therein and a pump body 6 arranged in the pump chamber 5, which can be caused to perform pump movements by means of a pump handle 7. The pump body 6 consists of or has such an elastic material that it can be extended in the direction R1 towards the walls 5a of the pump chamber 5 to pump food product out of the pump chamber 5. This can be achieved by pushing the pump handle 7 in a direction P1 towards the pump body 6, thereby increasing the pressure thereof. By pulling the pump handle in direction P2 from the pump body 6, the pressure in it decreases and its elastic properties allow it to contract in direction Fi2 from the walls 5a of the pump chamber 5, whereby a negative pressure arises in the pump chamber 5. This negative pressure means that food product 2 is sucked from the food container 3 into the pump chamber 5.
The pump 1 also has a pipe-like part 8 or a corresponding part, which forms a bypass channel 9, which is connected to the pump chamber 5 through at least one opening 10. This bypass channel 9 and opening 10 are arranged to allow the food product 2 to be sucked into it by means of of the pump body 6 and through the opening 10 into the pump chamber 5. Here, the firmer components 2a can flow further in the bypass channel 9, i.e. they can pass the pump chamber 5. Since said components 2a do not have to pass the pump chamber 5, they can not be damaged by the pump body 6 or by this is brought to stick to the walls 5a of the pump chamber 5.
Through the said embodiment, one can thus e.g. prevent components 2a in the form of e.g. strawberry pieces or strawberries in strawberry jam are mashed or crushed by the pump body 6 between the walls 5a of this pump chamber 5 or pressed onto them. The opening 10 can be designed so that said components 2a cannot be sucked through it and into the pump chamber 5 and this applies especially if the components 2a are large. The opening 10 can furthermore be designed as a gap, which extends along all or at least essential parts of the pump chamber 6.
The by-pass channel 9 may suitably be conically tapered seen in the flow direction S in which food product 2 flows through it.
As can be seen from the figures, the bypass flow channel 9 can be formed by a pipe-like part 8, which can be connected to the pump housing 4 and preferably form a unit therewith. The pipe-like part 8 can in cross-section have substantially circular inner walls 9a and it can have said opening 10 on a side facing the pump chamber 5.
The bypass channel 9 suitably extends between an inflow channel 11, which is connected to the food container 3 and an outflow channel 12 through which food product 2 is pumped out of the pump 1. The inflow channel 11 can be formed by a pipe part 13 in which a non-return valve 14 is arranged, which may have a part 15, which can be inserted into and thereby fixed in the pipe part 13. On the part 15 there can be a tongue 16 which in a position A can close to the connection between the food container 3 and the pump chamber 5 to prevent backflow from it to the food container. When negative pressure arises in the pump chamber 5 by the pump body 6 contracting to suck food product 2 from the food container 3 to the pump chamber 5, the tongue 16 will be caused to assume a position B (shown in broken lines), whereby said connection is opened. The outflow channel 12 can be formed by a pipe part 17, which can have a non-return valve 18, which is threaded on or in the pipe part 17 and which is opened to release food product 2 from the pump 1 and which then closes due to its elasticity.
The food container 3 may be of such a type that it is completely closed before it is connected to the pump 1. This can be done by pushing a connecting part 19 through a closed wall portion of the wall 20 of the food container 3 and fastening to a fastening member 21 on or in the food container 3.
The food container 3 can be airless, which is achieved by emptying it of air before the food product 2 is filled therewith. In addition, the food container 3 can be of such a design that it collapses, i.e. is sucked together when it is emptied of food product 2.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the drawings, but this may vary within the scope of the appended claims. It can be mentioned, for example, that the pump body 6 can be designed so that it can be expanded until it comes into contact with the surrounding walls 5a of the pump chamber 5.

Device at a pump (1), which is intended for pumping pumpable food products (2), e.g. fruit products or vegetable products, out of at least one food container (3), the food products (2) having a liquid or semi-liquid consistency and containing constituents (2a) having a firmer consistency, e.g. strawberry pieces, pineapple pieces or cucumber pieces, the pump (1) having a pump housing (4), a pump chamber (5) arranged therein, and a pump body (6) arranged in the pump chamber (5) and wherein the pump body (6) consists of or has such an elastic material that by being subjected to pump movements it is expandable to pump food product (2) out of the pump chamber (5) and has the ability to contract to create a negative pressure in the pump chamber (5) and thereby suck food product (2 ) from the food container (3) to this, characterized in that at least one bypass channel (9) is arranged outside the pump chamber (6) and is connected to the pump chamber (5) through at least one opening (10), that the bypass channel (9) is arranged to allow that food product (2) can be sucked into it by means of the pump body (6) and through the opening (10) into the pump chamber (5) and that the by-pass channel (9) is designed to allow said components (2a) to pass past the pump the chamber (5) by passing through the by-pass channel (9).

Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said opening (10) is designed to prevent at least a part of said components (2a) from being sucked into the pump chamber (6).

Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the bypass channel (9) is conically tapered in the direction of flow (S) of the food product (2) through it.

Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bypass flow channel (9) is formed by a pipe-like part (8), which is connected to the pump housing (4) and which has substantially circular inner walls (9a) in section, and in that the pipe-like the part (8) on a side facing the pump chamber (6) has said opening (10).

Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said opening (10) is a gap extending along all or at least essential parts of the pump chamber (5).

Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bypass channel (9) extends between an inflow channel (10) which is connected to the food container (3) and an outflow channel (12) through which food product (2) is pumped out of the pump. (1).

Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pump body (6) is expandable until it comes into contact with the walls (5a) of the pump chamber (5).

Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pump (1) has a connecting part (14) for connecting the same to a closed food container (3) by pushing it through a closed wall portion of the wall (20) of the food container (3). ) and attached to a fastener (21) in or on the food container (3).

Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the food container (3) is capable of collapsing when emptied of food product (2).
