2 (4) Special part The granulate is built up around a porous ceramic core. Core is obtained by exposing a suitable ceramic pellet of burnt clay or other mineral which is crushed and decomposed, thereby exposing the inner porous core. Its porous surface forms a very good foundation for attaching the active mass to and which forms the finished granulate. The active pulp is a mixture of related lime combined with a cement-based binder. This mass is applied in thin layers and forms fl your layers of shells on the granulate, similar to the principle that applies to casting light. The granulate can be completely adjusted in size, as well as the amount of active mass that is suitable for the intended area of use. The size of each individual granulate determines, among other things. residence time and resistance of the intended air or liquid to pass through the material, which in turn is important for which final PH value is sought. When purifying wastewater, it is of utmost importance to maintain a high PH value between 9.5 and 12.5 for as long as possible.

The production process of producing the ceramic core of the granulate according to claims 1-3, characterized in that burnt clay or mineral forms the basis of the core, is crushed and decomposed so that the inner porous inside instead becomes the outside and provides a good adhesion surface. . A method of producing granules according to claims 1-4, characterized by variation in the size of granules by selecting different sized ceramic cores and added shells of burnt lime, in order to optimize the purification process. .
