专利说明:
Device for passively catching a broken spike chainThe present invention relates to a device for passively catching a broken saw chain according to the preamble of claim 1. The invention also relates to a harvester assemblyaccording to the preamble of claim 13. Chainsaws of chainsaws mounted on single-lever type skardar units for falling and reprocessing wire trunks often run at large peripheral speeds around the saw blade. The sawing device that performs the sawing is mounted under the protection of a shielding sawing bar. A conventional saw device comprises a frame, a saw motor, a drive wheel, asword, a saw chain, a holder for the sword and an element can all feed the sword out and foodfrom sagladan. The saw motor is arranged to drive the drive wheel and during the sawing process the saw chain rotates around the pivotable blade. The sword is so placed in the sagladan that its path of rarity is not hindered by the sagladan. Sag & Ian is equipped with apps that allow scouts to trade out of Man. A dangerous situation that can occur when sawing is broken on the saw chain. Situationshas occurred at which parts have detached from the broken chain and, like high-speed projectiles, have been thrown away. Chain breaks where parts are thrown away are commonly referred to as "chain shots". The fact that the chain breaks is mainly due to a part of the broken saw chain being thrown back and chopped, cut or split due to the abrupt whiplash effect said chain part hasagainst any surface in openings in the shielding parts of the saga dance. The parts that are thrown awaymay include saw teeth, side links, drive links or other parts. Such parts that fly into the environment can cause dangerous situations, especially if people or other work machines are in the vicinity of the chain shot. In a workplace with several skimmers working at the same time, it is not always possible to secure a minimum safety distance. In order to reduce the problems of chain shots have fairy tale devices with different typesof chain shot protection proposed. An edge chain guard shown in EP 1 528 852 C has a shielding cradle which performs an active arch movement together with the saw blade at its rear part. From SE 530 792 C2 is known as a passive device which, instead of all protecting against parts from a shattered chain, ensures that a broken chain is not split as far as possible. Father thatto achieve this, the sagladan is equipped with a screen which has a surface given a convexhooking with such a large radius and such hardness that a part of the broken saw chain is not cut off or split upon contact with the face surface, but can slide substantially unhindered around the face surface. Thanks to the large radius, the device has a lack of sharp edges against which the chain can split. Due to the hard surface, the chains of the chain can not cut intothe material and wears out. From SE 517 665 is an edge or unit for cutting a tree trunk. Fatherto prevent parts of a broken saw chain from being thrown out is the saw blade In a rear end edge, provided with a shielding cradle that performs an active pregnancy together withCADocuments and Settings mfh My Documents SharePoint Drafts 1041205857SE002012-11- 09_121109 besk.docx2sagsvardet. In one embodiment, the shielding actively movable cradle may be made of elastically resilient material, for example rubber. The shielding cradle is pivoted by means of a rotary motor which works synchronously with the saw blade during its pivot movements during a cutting operation. Passive protection refers to such protection that is stationary mounted insagladan. Each of the above-mentioned arrangements has proved to be a workable choice and has probably also meant that more serious accidents have been avoided. However, it should be understood that harvester heads are advanced units which during work have been exposed to large stresses from blows and states, but also from contaminants such as dirt, dust and sawdust.which swirls around the units. Mechanisms that occur in harvester heads can often be affecteddisturbances, which leads to unnecessary downtime. It is therefore unfortunate to minimize as much as possible the many mechanisms, especially motor-driven mechanisms, which enter the already very advanced harvester head. In particular with regard to the passive device known from SE 530 792 C2, the initially mentioned additional saw protection on the activeswinging saw mechanism superfluous. However, there is always a penalty for all improving and modifying protection devices of this kind in order to achieve both cheaper and more effective protection. An object of the present invention is to provide a protection device of the passive type which is both cheaper and more efficient than hitherto known protection devices ofcorresponding type. Another object of the invention is to provide a harvester assemblywhich exhibits improved and effective protection against chain shots. These objects of the invention are solved by an energy-absorbing protective device having the features and jugular features set forth in claim 1 and a harvester assembly of the type set forth in claim 13. According to a consideration of the invention, an energy absorbing brake means is usedwhich is stationary mounted in the rear part of the saw blade and sufficiently elastic or flexible to receive the kinetic energy from a part of a broken saw chain, to divert kinetic energy from the saw chain and all atherta normal shape after being treated and deformed by a part of a broken saw chain. In one embodiment, a rear screen of the saw blade is provided with a recess in warsan elongate energy-absorbing element is arranged in the form of a flexible elementsuch as a wire, cat, thread, a rope, a ribbon or the like. In another embodiment, the flexible element consists of an elastic element, an elastic line which is attached to the spirits and cuts the opening in such a way that it can catch and muffle a broken saw chain in a resilient manner. When the elastic element is pulled by the saw chain, it is bent backwards in a U-shaped curve. The elastomeric element is arranged to offer a braking force during the entire interception movement whichcan be progressive and which thereby transitions to becoming alit larger with increasing elongation of the elastic element. Since the elastomeric element lacks mechanically movable parts or drive means, itCADocuments and Settings mfh My Documents SharePoint Drafts P41205857SE00_2012-11- 09_121109 besk.docx3viii saga can in itself be regarded as essentially passive, water, dirt or lubricant have no significant effect on the energy-absorbing properties of the elastomeric element. In the following, the present invention is described in more detail with reference to exemplary embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings, in which;FIG. 1A shows a front view of a harvester assembly equipped with a saw devicecutting a tree trunk, which saw device is equipped with a safety device and catching a broken saw chain according to the present invention;FIG. 1B shows a schematic in detail enlargement of a partially cut rear part of a saw device entering a screen in which a safety device according to the invention withbeing able to receive the kinetic energy from a part of a broken saw chain is arranged,FIG. Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal sectional view through a rear part of a saw device viewed along the line II-II in Fig. 3A, in a layer where the kinetic energy from a broken chain is intercepted by a safety device according to the invention,FIG. 3A shows a schematic perspective view of a partially cut rear part of asaw device with partially broken parts in a layer where the rorelian energy frail a broken chainmounted by a security device according to the invention;FIG. 3B shows diagrammatically in detail enlargement of a safety device according to the invention illustrating a chain break of a saw chain and how it is ranked up by an elastic line. Fig. 1A shows a harvester assembly 1 of the common type provided with asafety device according to the present invention. At its lower part seen in the figure, the harvester assembly 1 has a chain saw 10 which is housed in a saw barrel 11. The chain saw 10 has a saw blade 12 around which a saw chain 14 loops. The saw chain 14 is driven around the saw blade 12 via a drive or drive wheel 16 by one of the figures. motor not shown in a rear part of the saw blade 11. At acutting operation, a swing mechanism not shown in the figures swings out the saw blade 12 outthe saw blade 11, while the saw chain 14 running around the saw blade 12 at high speed cuts off a tree trunk fixed in the unit. The manner in which the saw blade 12 swings in and out of the saw blade 11 upon cutting is illustrated by the double arrow in Fig. 3A. Referring also to Fig. 3A, the saw blade 12 is fixed in a holder 18 which is rotatablearound a pivot axis A said that the saw blade 12 can swing in and out frail the saw blade 11 ashas been described, in which case the rotational movement in some cases can be as large as it amounts to 90 °. The saw motor is of the hydraulic type and has a shaft which in turn drives the drive wheel 16 of the saw chain 14. The drive wheel 16, which is coated a rear part of the saw blade 11, confronts the force from the saw motor to the saw chain 14 which runs forward around the saw blade 12 to near the drive wheel 16. The drive wheel 16 is located in a rear end of the chain 14. Normally, the saw chain 14 arrives in asubstantially straight motion from the saw blade 12 to near the drive wheel 16 (motion B) along a side of the saw blade cooperating with the trunk active during cutting work and rotating aroundCADocurnents and Settingsinifh My DocumentsSharePoint Drafts P41205857SE00_2012-11- 09_121109 besk.docx4the same. The saw chain 14 changes its direction of movement to a substantially opposite one, the direction of movement being opposite on the inactive side of the saw blade which is away from a trade star during cutting work (movement C). The drive wheel 16 is intended to move clockwise. As can be seen from Figures 2 and 3A, it may happen that the saw chain 14 breaks belowOperation. A piece of the chain not shown in the figure can be thrown out of the saw blade 12 cla enchain portion 14A of the broken saw chain tears a duck edge 20 of a rear fender 22 of the saw blade 11 and is torn loose by an emerging whip snare effect. The piece released from the chain part thereby risks that as a so-called chain shot, at high speed thrown low from the saw bar 11. Father to avoid aft a broken saw chain 14 splits and forms a chain shotthe present invention includes a generally designated brake means locatedin close proximity to the chain gear 16 in a rear end of the saw blade 11 that it can catch said chain part 14A of a broken saw chain 14. The brake means 30 comprises a material which is sufficiently elastic to receive the kinetic energy from the broken chain part 14A derived kinetically. energy from the chain part and regaining normal shape after having treats anddeformed by the chain part. As can be seen from the detail enlargement in Fig. 1B, said screen 22 in the rear end of the sawdust 11, in close connection with the drive wheel 4, is provided with a recess 31 whose width or gap is oriented in a plane perpendicular to the main plane of the sawmill 12. The main plane 12 of the sawmill refers to the plane within which the sawmill 12 swings in and outfrom the saw bar 11. The recess 31 is essentially U- or V-shaped and delimited by two side cradles31A, 31B can essentially be considered as opposites. The recess 31 tapers towards its batten. To catch a missing saw chain 14, an energy absorbing brake member 30 is arranged in the recess 31. The brake member 30 is sufficiently elastic to receive the kinetic energy from a broken chain, to divert kinetic energy from the chain and to Marta normal form afterto have been hit and deformed by the chain. In one embodiment, the braking means 30 comprises a line (or snare) formed of elastic material, in particular an elastic line 32 of the type which becomes progressively stiffer with increasing elongation. The elastic line 32 can be arranged on whichever is conveniently placed in the saw blade in order to be able to catch a broken saw chain. In the present embodiment, the elastomeric cord 32 is locatednear the drive wheel 4, preferably at a distance of 25-30 mm from the chain when the saw bladeis in its mast forced out! age. The elastic line 32 extends perpendicular to the saw blade's plane of movement when cutting. The elastomeric line 32 can be located in an area in said screen 20 of the saw blade 11 where the saw chain 12 approaches the drive wheel 4. The recess 31 has an opening which is located near the drive wheel 16 and is adjacent to the saw blade 12. The recess 31 formsan opening which is water towards the saw chain 14 towards the driven return part 14A. In Fig. 3B, the above-mentioned elastomeric line 32 serving as a brake means 30 is shown closer. In order to obtain the required properties, the elastomeric cord comprises an elastomeric materialCADocuments and Settings mfh My Documents SharePoint DraftsT41205857SE00_2012-11- 09_121109 besk.docx33, a fiber reinforcement 34 arranged around it and an outer roof layer 35 of elastomeric material, wherein the elastomeric material the core 33 and the roof layer 35 preferably consist of synthetic rubber and wherein the fiber reinforcement 34 consists of materials with common stretching properties of the core elastomeric material. The fiber reinforcement 34 may suitably be helically wound around the core33 with a fixed reinforcement angle to the long axis of the rope and the angle steering wheel projectedthe reinforcement. The fiber reinforcement 34 consisted of cord wires or bands, hoisted of polyester material. Advantageously, the fiber reinforcement 34 may comprise two or ten layers. Which in this case are wrapped in the opposite hall. The elastane line 32 has a core 33 of suitable elastomeric material, for example EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene diene monomer, M-class, rubber). Elastlinancan be provided with an outer cover of elastic material with special Oder, UV and chemical resistance. A lamp elastic band can consist of a core of styrene butadiene rubber with a hardness of 75 ° IRH and have a diameter of 15 mm comprising a helically wound reinforcement consisting of polyester cord radar with an aptly selected reinforcement angle. The number of polyester cord wires can be chosen arbitrarily, for example 24 pieces and be pine wrappedeach other. By choosing suitable and also varying curves at different reinforcement angles, the elastane line can obtain varying degrees of progression in the adhesive's resistance to elongation and the elastane line is thus adapted to catch a part 14A of a broken saw chain 14 in such a flexible manner that it does not risk splitting. and form "chain shafts". As shown in Figs. 2A and 2B, the elastomeric cord 32 is attached to a device shown in no more detailthe breath as it extends over a recess 31 in the rear fender 22 of the sagladans 1131 and the position of the elastomeric cord 32 are so selected in relation to the saw mechanism's pivot mechanism that the elastomeric wire forms a fictitious stop or a portion of the saw blade which can be said to delimit the saw blade's 12's maximum displacement out of the saw blade In the event of a chain break, the brake means 30 will often receive a broken one and possibly alsoslightly descending portion 14A of a saw chain on a soft and resilient salt. The tensioned and subsequently broken saw chain portion 14A continues its movement and strikes the brake member 30 and gathers against it so softly that the chain portion 14A does not split. The elastomeric 32 for aft thus muffles the kinetic energy from a broken chain 14, to divert kinetic energy from the chainand to regain normal shape after being hit and deformed by chainThe present invention is not limited to what is described above and what is shown in the drawings, but can be modified and modified in a number of different ways within the scope of the inventive concept stated in the appended claims.
