BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Exemplary embodiments of the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying schematic drawings. In the drawings, Fig. 1 shows a cross section through a light plate which in a known manner is composed of lightweight material and has built-in light sources; Fig. 2 is a rim intended for a sign according to Fig. 1; Fig. 3 shows a sign hanging device cooperating with the sign and the rim with which the sign can be hung on a wall, and Fig. 4 shows the sign and the sign hanging device in mounted condition, the sign being shown partially broken away. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Fig. 1 shows in cross section a sign 1 with built-in lighting 2 for illuminating the front of the sign 3. In this example, the lighting comprises a number of light sources in the form of light emitting diodes. The sign is built in a manner known per se from a front 3 made of channel plastic, which by means of interconnected foam plastic elements 4 is connected to and spaced from a back piece 5 likewise made of channel plastic. Components 2-5 are suitably joined together by gluing, or for example by means of double-sided adhesive tape. In this context it should be mentioned that the thickness of the plate is irrelevant in the invention, and the front and back piece can in other words be arranged completely without gaps and can alternatively also be integrated in one and the same element, and can for instance consist of a single disc forming both front and back in the sign. The sign is edged by a circumferential band-shaped rim 6 which is shown separately in Fig. 2. The rim 6 is formed of an elongate sheet or strip of thin material, such as a strip of thin plastic or metal, the longitudinal side edge regions 8 and 9 of which are folded so that they, in the position of the rim mounted on the plate, extend a bit inwards over the front and back piece, respectively. The side edge areas 8 and 9 form a frame on the front side of the plate 10 and on the back side, respectively, and may be slightly excessively folded so that they clamp against the front and back piece when the rim 6 is fitted around the plate 1. In the side edge areas 8 and 9, cuts 10 are taken up which form instructions 10 for folding the rim 6 when it is wrapped around the periphery of the sign 1 in connection with mounting of the sign. The cuts 10 are suitably designed as V-shaped recesses with an intermediate angle of 90 ° for forming miter joints in the corner areas of the frame in the manner illustrated in Fig. 2. The frame 6 has a length which is adapted to the circumference of the sign 1, the instructions 10 for folding the corner 11 of the frame being placed in such a way that the facing ends 12, 13 of the frame are located opposite the sign hanging device explained below when mounting the sign. If necessary, the rim 6 can be composed of fl your sections, ensuring that all joints 14, 15 are placed so that they can cooperate with a respective sign suspension device in the manner described below with reference to Figs. 3 and 4. Fig. 3 illustrates how the sign 1 with the edge 6 wrapped around it is folded into a sign suspension device 16. The sign suspension device 16 has an upper recess 17 and a lower recess 18. In the exemplary embodiment, the recesses 17 and 18 are interconnected by a strut 19 which is arranged to be fixed to a wall surface or the like, for example by means of the strut 19 through screws which are screwed into the wall. In this context, it is to be understood that the term wall is to be understood herein to mean any vertical or non-vertical surface suitable for attaching the sign hanging device 16. Such suitable surfaces are typically vertical walls, but for the purposes of the invention are also intended to include sloping ceilings, roofs, pillars, bolts, doors, gates and other not mentioned constructions on which the sign hanging device 16 can be mounted. This also includes applications in which the sign suspension device is mounted to the surface / wall by means of an intermediate spacer element. The struts 17 and 18 may alternatively be separated and arranged to be mounted separately against a wall. It is preferred, however, that the sign suspension device 16 is formed of a single element such as a disc or strip 19 of thin material, and preferably of the same material and thickness as used in the rim 16. The handles 17, 18 are then bent at about 90 ° from the strut, and dimensioned to extend from the strut 19 in a length corresponding at least to the width of the rim 6, while the strut 19 correspondingly between the bends at the circumferences 17, 18 has a length corresponding to the height of the sign 1. Preferably the circumferences 17, 18 are additionally formed with a respective lip 20 which is bent from the circumference to engage in the recessed position of the sign in the side edge area 8 on the front side of the sign. Fig. 4 shows a sign 1 mounted in a sign hanging device 16. More specifically, Fig. 4 shows a part of a sign 1 comprising a front 3 and a back piece 5 which consist of sheets of channel plastic, which sheets are spaced apart by means of an interconnected foam element 4. The foam element 4 is suitably arranged to run uninterrupted like a frame along all side edges of the sign 1. On the inside of the back piece are mounted a pair of strips 21, 22 which each support a number of LEDs 2 which form a built-in illumination for transillumination. of the front 3. Necessary electrical equipment such as transformer and control devices (not shown in the figure) can be built into the sign but can also alternatively be located outside the sign 1 and connected to the built-in lighting via a cable entry 23 arranged in the side wall of the sign or in the back. The rim 6 runs around the periphery of the plate, the primary function of which is to protect the foam frame running inside the rim and the peripheral edges of the channel plastic sheets. The ends 12 and 13 of the rim meet in a joint 14 below the upper circumference 17 of a first sign suspension device 16. If necessary, an extension section 6 'of the rim 6 can be inserted between the ends 12 and 13 of the rim, a second joint 14 being placed below the upper received 17 by a second sign hanging device 16. Correspondingly, one or more of the extension sections 6 'can be inserted both in the upper side of the sign and in its lower side for the construction of longer signs. When mounting the plate 1 in the plate suspension device 16, the ends 12, 13 of the frame can be temporarily held together, while the final mutual fixation of the ends with simultaneous locking of the rim around the periphery of the plate takes place using the receptacle 17 by connecting the receptacle 17 to both ends 12 and 13. This coupling can be provided in any suitable manner but is preferably made in such a way that the coupling can be dissolved if necessary and the sign disassembled from the sign suspension device. The connection between the ring and the rim can be made, for example, by means of rivets or screws which are applied in the manner illustrated in Fig. 4 by the reference numeral 24. Coupling in the form of screw or rivet connections can alternatively take place in the manner illustrated in Fig. 4 by 25, the side edge 8 of the rim in the area of the ends 12, 13 being anchored to the lip 20 of the receptacle 20. For the sake of completeness it should be mentioned that the reference numeral 26 in Fig. 4 refers to holes for insertion of fasteners, such as screws, through the strut 19 in the sign suspension device 16. Since only moderate forces are expected to act in the separating direction between the ends 12 and 13 of the rim, a number of alternative connection methods can be used for coupling between the rim and the receptacle. Thus, if applicable, a sufficiently strong coupling can be achieved by, for example, a form-locking joint, in which complementary formations on the rim and bypass / lip, respectively, engage when the sign is folded into the sign suspension device. Said formations may alternatively be realized in the form of snap-lock means for providing a releasable snap-lock connection between rim and recess / lip, and may for instance comprise a hook (not shown) formed in the free end of the lip and arranged to grip over the edge of the side edge 8 of the rim when the sign is folded into the sign hanging device. By forming the circumferences 17, 18 during bending at an acute angle less than 90 ° between the strut 19 and the respective circumference, a fixing of the ends of the rim and locking of the rim around the sign can alternatively be achieved by clamping between the upper and lower circumferences. In connection with signs of smaller format in particular, it can be envisaged, where applicable, that satisfactory mutual fixation of the ends of the rim can be achieved by means of magnetic locking means or Velcro straps. It will also be appreciated that in addition to screw or rivet dressings, a stronger and more permanent connection between the rim and the receptacle can be achieved, if necessary, by means of an adhesive bandage, or by means of a double-sided adhesive tape. The measures described above provide an easy-to-handle sign and sign hanging device which has a low weight, simple manufacture, and which in addition has been shown to have a very good ability to prevent the penetration of moisture and particles through joints and joints between the materials.
