10152025302that the door function is no longer intact, at the same time as both hinges, frame and door leafrisk of injury. To be able to retighten the screws, the door leaf must then be lifted offhinges and straightened before tightening can take place. This is often neglected byfor convenience. Instead, the construction is often complained to the supplier, whereby notdesirable costs arise for him. It would in itself be conceivable to replacethe screws with welding of the gangway. However, this has proved less desirableas it makes it impossible for the hinge to be replaced at a later stage which limitsfuture repairs and the possibility of adapting the hinge to different types of doors.
The surface treatment of the frame is also made more difficult with a pre-assembled, welded walkwayTROUBLESHOOTINGIt is thus desired to achieve a more secure attachment of the hinge, at the same time as itit is still possible to detach and replace the hinge.
PROBLEM SOLVINGThe objective on which the invention is based is initially achievedindicated device is characterized in that both the sheet metal frame and the spacer plate as well asthe hinge part comprises positioning means for mutual positioning of the threethe components.
Additional advantages are obtained if the device is additionally given one or more of thethe signs according to claims 2-8.
COMPILATION OF DRAWING FIGURESThe invention will now be described on the basis of the accompanying drawings. On theseshows:1 g 1 a perspective view of the inside of a frame with a hinge attached according toupp fi nningen;10152025302 g 2 a perspective view in detail of the frame before the spacer plate and the hinge part haveassembled;3a is a perspective view of the side of the spacer plate facing the door frame;3 g 3b a view corresponding to that in fi g 3a of the opposite side of the spacer plate;4 g 4 is a perspective view of the hinge part included in the invention; and5 g 5 is a sectional view through the frame, spacer plate and passageway in the area of an attachment.holes.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENTFig. 1 shows in perspective a door frame 1, which is made of sheet metal, which can be sheet steel.or any other type of sheet metal. The frame 1 is bent with mutually substantially parallelbends, so that it is given a certain profile, which enables an attachment to a wallwhich is adjacent to an opening for a door 2. The core 1 is shown in fi g 1 seen from the inside, i.e.the wall on which it is intended to be mounted has been omitted from the figure. On the other hand, it appears in fi g1 schematically shows the door 2 which is intended to be placed in the opening provided by the door frame 1surrounds. The door frame 1, which is made of sheet metal, is often used together with security doors, which should provide improved burglary protection, or together with other doors that areclassified for fire or sound requirements. When the door 2 is closed, only the hinge of the hinge isand a limited part of a hinge blade 3 accessible from the outside. If door 2 is open isonly the screws holding the hinge blade 3 in the frame 1 are accessible, but neitherthe hinge blade 3 itself or the spacer plate 9 arranged between the hingethe iron blade 3 and the inside of the frame 1 are accessible from the outside.
In fi g 1 the frame 1, the door 2, the hinge blade 3, the spacer plate 9 and a slot are thus shown20, whereby the guide blade 3 extends from the outside of the frame 1 to its inside. Thepart of the aisle] the arm which is attached to the frame 1 is the lower half 19 of the aisle, so that the door 21015202530can be hung on the hinge pin in the respective hinge in the frame 1. The orientation ofthe hinge part is such that the knob of the hinge extends outside the frame 1 on onesuch a distance that the door 2 can be easily hung up but that the distance between the door 2 andframe 1 is as limited as possible.
Furthermore, the frame has holes 4 for attachment to the wall around the door opening and holes 5 foralignment and positioning of the frame 1.
The hinge blade 3 has two holes 6, which are used for attaching the hinge blade 3 toframe 1. In the preferred embodiment, these holes 6 are the upper and the lower, respectivelythe hole in fi g 1. Between the two fastening holes 6 there is another hole 7, in which a pin forlift protection is attachable. Such a pin is attachable to the hinge blade 3, since theholes 6, 7 are threaded. A lift protection is simply a pin that extends fromframe 1, across it, and into a purpose-designed recess in the end 2 of the door. Throughthat a removal guard is provided, a locked door cannot be forced by walking] ämenare attacked and the door is lifted away from them. Thus, the take-off protection is a step income a burglary protection.
At two of the edges of the hinge blade 3, positioning means in the form of recesses 8 are arranged.nade. In the preferred embodiment, the recesses 8 are substantially rectangular and openout towards the 3 edges of the hinge blade. The recesses 8 cooperate with the corresponding positioningmeans in the form of projections 10, which extend out of the plane of the spacer plate 9. Bythe projections 10 are placed in the recesses 8, the hinge blade 3 will be positioned in the planein relation to the spacer plate 9. This means that the hinge blade 3 cannot be displaced inlateral or vertical in the plane in relation to the spacer plate 9. Nor is it possible torotate the hinge blade blade 3 relative to the spacer plate 9 about any axis extendingacross the hinge blade 3 and the spacer plate 9.
Figure 2 shows in detail the inside of the frame 1 for attaching the hinge blade 3.
The frame 1 has in this area three holes 11, 13, substantially corresponding to the holes 6, 7 in the passage.the iron blade 3, which is shown in fi g 1. Two of the holes 11 are mounting holes, and they are in thethe embodiment the upper and the lower respectively of the three holes 1 1, 13. Attached1015202530The inward holes 11 have inwardly facing ridges 12 around them. The purpose of the collars 12 is tocooperate with the spacer plate 9 for a definite positioning thereof in a plane. Powerthe rings 12 also function to provide a recess into the frame 1 of the fasteners.screws that are screwed in from the outside through the holes ll to engage the threads in the hinge 3mounting holes 6.
The positioning is ensured by at least two of the holes being provided with hooks12, to prevent the hinge blade 3 from being rotated about only one of the hooks12. It is not per se excluded that the middle hole 13 in the core 1, i.e. the holewhich is intended for screwing a relief guard into the hinge blade 3, would alsobe able to be fitted with a collar. However, it is sufficient that two of the holes 1 1 in the core 1has collars 12, so that a rotation of the spacer plate 9 can be prevented.
In 3 g 3a the spacer plate 9 is shown with the side abutting against the frame 1 visible. Distance-the plate 9 has two holes 14, whereby the fastening screws are intended to extend forfastening in the fastening holes 6 of the walking blade 3 These holes 14 have chamfers 16 aroundtheir edges, which means that they fit well with the corresponding cantileverama 12 on the inside of the frame 1. The spacer plate 9 also has an intermediate hole 15, forallow any lift protection to extend therethrough, for attachment to the aislejämsbladet's 3 threaded holes 7.
By co-operation between the collars 12 on the frame 1 and the chamfer 16the spacer plate 9 will be stabilized in a certain position in relation to the frame 1 andits hole pattern. The spacer plate 9 can thus not be moved either in the longitudinal direction of the frame 1or across it in the plane. Nor can the spacer plate 9 rotate about any axis whichextends across this.
The spacer plate 9 has a further set of positioning means 10 in the form of apair of curved committees 10. These committees are curved so that they extend substantiallyacross the main plane of extension of the spacer plate 9, and their height corresponds approximatelythe plate thickness in the hinge blade 3. This additional set of positioning means hasthe purpose of cooperating with the corresponding positioning means in progress] ärnsbladet 3, so that a1015202530so precisely positioning of the hinge blade relative to the spacer plate 9come. Since the spacer plate 9 is in turn positioned relative to the frame 1,the hinge blade 3 will also be well positioned in relation to the frame 1In fi g 3b the spacer plate 9 is shown from the side facing away from the frame 1 and whereupongang leaf 3 is intended to abut. This side has a substantially smooth surface, in which the threethe holes 14, 15 are occupied, and the projections 10 are bent.
Fig. 4 shows a hinge part 19 according to the invention in perspective. The hinge part 19 hasa broadly conventional design with a hinge blade 3, a pin 17 and aknob 18. As previously mentioned, the hinge blade 3 has three through holes, more specifically, two holes 6 for fastening screws and one hole 7 for possible fasteningof a removal guard.
The two recesses 8, which function as positioning means, are particularly visible in fi g 4. Such aspreviously mentioned, the two recesses 8 cooperate with the projections 10 on the spacer plate 9 so thatthis is fixed in the plane against both rotation and lateral displacement. The anchoring indeep, across the frame 1, the spacer plate 9 and the guide blade 3, on the other hand, are done with the aidof the fixing screws extending through the holes 11 in the frame 1, the holes 14 in the spacer plate 9and are attached to the threaded holes 6 in the hinge blade 3. The positioning means 12, 16, 10,8 takes up large parts of the loads that arise when using the door 2 asis supported by the hinge 19. This thereby reduces the risk of the fastening screws throughholes 6, 11, 14 would come loose, and if this were to happen after all to some extent willthe spacer plate 9 and the hinge blade 3 to be held relative to the frame 1 in muchto a large extent. As a result, the thread 19, even though the screws may have come loose,to continue to be loaded in the intended manner, and the risk of damage to the hinge 19, or even offaccidents, is basically eliminated. This also reduces the risk of related injuriesdoor 2 or frame 1.
In a preferred embodiment, the tolerances in the manufacture of the recesses 8 in theiron blade 3 indicated so that it is slightly easier to turn the hinge 19 a very short distancepiece in the plane in a direction opposite to the direction corresponding to a door being hung1015202530in progress 19, than vice versa. This means that the construction is stable during assemblyand arranging a door 2 on the hinge 19, while the limited play in the oppositedirection facilitates assembly.
Finally, a sectional view through the frame 1, the spacer plate 9 and the hinge 19 inline with a set of mounting holes 6, 1 1, 14. Here, the collar 12 and thecorresponding to the chamfer 16 well visible, at the same time as the projection 10 is visible aboveaisle 3 planes. It is also clear that the threads in the hinge blade 3 attachmentholes 6 are easily accessible through the hole 11 in the frame 1 and the hole 14 in the spacer plate 9.
The same conditions also apply to the holes 7, 13, 15 provided for mountingof a possible removal protection, even if a collar 12 would not bearranged around one of these.
ALTERNATIVE EMBODIMENTSThe invention can be modified within the scope of the appended claims. Some modeschanges are particularly natural, and do not mean moving away from theningstanken. Such adjustments are resizing as an adjustment afterdoor type and weight of the door, mirror reversal of hinges to achieve the left-and right-hand hinges and corresponding changes to the door frames so that both outwards and inwardswalking doors can be provided. Which is preferred is highly market dependentand depending on the area of use.
Security classification of doors can also lead to changes in the choice of materials and dimensions.rings.
Another type of change that is intended to be within the scope of the invention isthat the functions of the cooperating positioning means can be reversed, i.e. the collar12 and the chamfer 16 respectively change places with each other. In a similar way can alsothe projections 10 and the recesses 8 swap places with each other.
The invention can be further modified within the scope of the appended claims.
