1015202530current lane. If the driver does not act, the system will activate the vehicle'sbraking system. US-7,551, 103 relates to a warning system for vehicles, which comprises, inter alia, alane guard system improved by providing an image processing system such asreceives and processes images showing the situation around the vehicle to increase, among other thingssafety when changing lanes. The information that the system collects can be presented forthe driver in a number of ways, for example through visual display. It is also possible toarrange a vibrating unit in the steering wheel to transmit the information tactilely to the driverthere are risks in, for example, reversals. Another example of a lane guard system is described in WO-2009/022947 which relatesa method and a device intended to make it easier for a vehicle to lie in a lane. Thedescribes how the lane control itself takes place by indicating which signals are used, howthe calculations are made and how the steering of the vehicle is affected. It also describes how the systemhandles the situation when a voluntary lane change is to be made. In such a case is disabledthe system and a warning signal are generated, for example in the form of an optical signal, acousticallysignal or a haptic signal. When a lane guard system is used, the system is usually only allowed to a limited onepart may take over the active steering of the vehicle as the driver must always havepossibility to check the vehicle. However, there may be curves or other driving situationswhere the steering control of the system is not sufficient to keep the vehicle on the road and then mustthe driver is made aware of this. There may also be other reasons why the system is deactivated during interventions such as, e.g.that the sensors lose signal or target, etc. The most common way to present the information is to visually display symbolsthe driver's display. Another common way is to generate audio signals intended todraw the driver's attention to a specific circumstance.1015202530Another way to communicate with the driver is to communicate haptically (or tactilely),for example via the vehicle's steering wheel. Tactile communication means that the signal can be perceived bythe driver's sensory organs, for example as a vibration. An example where information is haptically communicated to the driver via the steering wheel is shown in US2007/005 1547 which relates to a method for assisting the driver in various maneuvers, toexample when parking. The steering wheel can then be subjected to different torques depending on whichdegree the driver follows a calculated route, for example, an increasing torque is applied to the steering wheelnot moved in the "right" direction. Information can also be transmitted haptically to the driver by causing the vehicle's steering wheel to vibrateto varying degrees depending on the information to be transmitted. Today's lane departure warning system can be manually activated or deactivated by the driver. It isin addition, it is advantageous that the system is automatically deactivated if, for example, the systemsensors, e.g. cameras, do not receive relevant input signals, and that the driver must completely take overthe steering of the vehicle. Another example where the driver must actively take a more active role inthe driving of the vehicle is if the system is unable to steer the vehicle, e.g. when drivingin tight curves. There is thus a need to inform the vehicle driver that the lane guard system is changingits condition, and the object of the invention is therefore to provide a security system for onevehicles with a lane departure warning system which indicates when the system changes its condition. Summary of the inventionThe above object is achieved with the invention as it is defined by the independentspatent claims. Preferred embodiments are defined by the dependent claims. The invention thus comprises a safety system for a vehicle and comprising onelane departure warning system adapted to emit a state signal indicating the lane departure warning systemstate. The invention further comprises a method for a safety system for a vehicle.1015202530The safety system comprises an indicating unit comprising a processing unit and amemory unit, wherein said processing unit is adapted to receive the state signal, and comparing this signal with predetermined condition criteria for the lane guard systemstored in the memory unit, and to emit an indication signal depending on the comparison. The indication signal is a tactile signal adapted to tactilely influence the driver of the vehicle and thatthe indication signal is selected, depending on the result of the comparison, from a setdifferent tactile signals, stored in the memory unit, where each tactile signal is related to onepredetermined condition, or a predetermined change of a condition, forthe lane guard system. By practicing the present invention, the driver is made aware thatthe lane guard system changed state in a clear and intuitive way via a tactile signalthrough the steering wheel, driver's seat or through another object that the driver is in contact with or whoupon activation comes in contact with the driver. According to an embodiment of the invention, the driver is informed that the lane guard systemhas been deactivated, which may mean that the driver must take a more active role in drivingthe vehicle. However, the manner in which the driver is informed should not disturb or irritate the driver and thatthere should be no doubt as to what the driver is being informed about. Too many systems, includingsystems that have to do with the vehicle's location on the road and in relation to othersroad users, signals via the steering wheel are the most intuitive communication channel. Here feelthe driver constantly while driving how the vehicle behaves and by applyingAccording to the present invention, the driver would find out from there if the vehicle is changingbehavior. Optionally, the tactile signal in the steering wheel can be combined with other tactile, visual or audio signals. Unlike, for example, informing the driver via an auditory signal to the systeminactivated, the system of the present invention would not irritate or interfere equallymuch, moreover, it would only be the driver himself who receives the information, not anypassengers, which is not desirable, e.g. in a bus. In addition, the driver often finds it easier tointerpret a signal in the steering wheel and connect it to the correct system than a warning sound. Onewarning sound would probably require a complementary visual symbol, which, in1015202530combination with sound, would be worse than a haptic signal in the steering wheel because it wouldrequire the driver to divert attention from the road to look at the symbol and beyondinterpret it. Short drawing descriptionFigure 1 shows a block diagram schematically illustrating the present invention. Figure 2 is a graph illustrating a preferred embodiment of the present inventioninvention. Figure 3 shows a fate diagram illustrating the method of the present invention. Detailed Description of Preferred Embodiments of the InventionFigure 1 shows a block diagram schematically illustrating a security system 2 for onevehicle and comprising a lane guard system 4 adapted to emit a state signal 6indicating the condition of the lane guard system. The safety system comprises an indicating unit 8 comprising a processing unit 10and a memory unit 12, wherein the processing unit is adapted to receive the state signal6, and to compare this signal with predetermined state criteria forthe lane guard system stored in said memory unit. Information that definesthe state criteria are preferably entered into the memory unit in connection withThe security system is activated. The permit criteria indicate which permits arethe lane guard system may be located in. The processing unit is further adapted and to emit an indication signal 14 depending onthe comparison, wherein the indication signal is a tactile signal adapted to tactilely influencethe driver of the vehicle. The indication signal is selected, depending on the result of the comparison, from aset of different tactile signals, stored in the memory unit, where each tactile signal isrelated to a predetermined condition of the lane guard system, or a predetermined onechange of a condition of the lane guard system.10152025306The predetermined criteria represent at least two of the following conditions forlane departure warning system:0 Active0 Inactive0 Active control from the driver is required0 The lane guard system takes over the steering0 Warn the driver0 Switch off. The enumeration above is to be considered as exemplary only. Of course there are fl erconditions which are possible for the lane departure warning system and which may be justifiedidentify. Figure 2 schematically shows graphs illustrating the present invention. In the topthe graph shows the state of the state signal which in the example shown can assume three different onesstate, S1, S2 and S3. The lower graph shows the corresponding tactile signals, T1, T2 andT3 which are generated when the lane guard system goes to states S1, S2 and S3 respectively. The tactile signal T1 in the example shown is a vibration signal consisting of onevibration, T2 consists of two vibrations and T3 of three vibrations. It is also possible to generate different tactile signals depending on whichchange of state that takes place. For example, a tactile signal T4 can be generated about the systemgoes from state S1 to state S2; while another tactile signal T5 is regeneratedthe system instead goes from state S3 to state S2. The set of tactile signals comprises a tactile signal, for example in the form of vibrations, adapted to influence the driver via the vehicle's steering wheel, a tactile signal adapted to influencethe driver via the driver's seat, or via any other part of the vehicle that can be brought into contact withdriver and transmit tactile signals to the driver. It is also possible, according to furtherone embodiment, said set of tactile signals comprising a combined tactilesignal adapted to influence the driver via, for example, the steering wheel of the vehicle and via the driver's seat.10152025307According to one embodiment, the display unit is adapted to generate a secondindication signal 16 together with the tactile indication signal, also depending onthe result of the comparison, where the second indication signal is a light or sound signal. The light signal can be in the form of symbols that light up on the driver panel. This may, for example, be relevant in special conditions of the lane guard system where it isextra important to pay attention to the driver. A prerequisite for the safety system to be able to adapt the generated tactilethe signals depending on the condition of the lane guard system are that these conditions existavailable via the state signal.
