Fig. 16 shows an arm device which comprises a damper construction and which offers onebracket for the free end of an air duct, and a hood according to the invention. Fig. 17 shows a damper control according to the invention. Detailed description of embodimentsArm construction:This invention relates to a device 1 intended for use in a ventilation deviceto pour and control an air duct 2. The air duct 2 is intended for extracting air andunwanted particles and / or gases from different places, usually work areas of differentkind. The air duct 2 is connected to a unit, not shown in the figures, which creates negative pressurein the flexible duct 2, an air extraction force. The device 1 comprises a single arm construction 1.1 which is arranged longitudinallyoutside of the air duct 2A. An arm construction 1.1 according to the invention shown in Fig. 1 comprises two arm parts 3 and 4,two link arms, a first arm part 3 and a second arm part 4, arranged one after the other. The arm structure 1.1 further comprises a first link 5, a friction link, which connectsthe first arm part with a fastening device 6 which pours and bases positionthe arm structure and which enables different positioning, bending and stretching, ofW: Other_Casedocuments Patent P410- P41000570SE00 20100316 to PRV.doc101520253035P41 OOO57OSEOO3the arm construction 1.1. The arm construction 1.1 also comprises a second joint 7, afriction joint which connects the first arm part 3 to the second arm part 4 and whichenables different positioning, bending and stretching, of the arm structure 1.1. Each arm part 3 and 4 each comprises an aluminum profile 8 and 9 which is elongateand which is suitably made by extrusion, extrusion, see Fig. 1. Eacharm part 3 and 4 constitute substantially, in the middle portion which gives the arm part itslength extension, of the aluminum profiles 8 and 9. The device 1 becomes light in its construction, which means that it becomes easy to move aroundtransport, during assembly and during use, and thus also when movingthe device 1 and an air duct 2 together, in that the device 1 comprisesonly an arm construction 1.1 with arm parts 3 and 4 which comprises an aluminum profile 8and 9. The use of aluminum makes the construction lighter than devices withsteel arm parts. The use of aluminum also makes it possible to make the device 1,the arm construction 1.1, neater and more attractive than devices with steel arm parts, because parts of aluminum, thanks to the material properties of aluminum, can be formed ondifferent ways and made smaller than parts of steel but still be as stable and moreformally appealing. The fact that the arm construction 1.1 is lighter, smaller and nicer makes it possible to arrangethe arm structure 1.1 fully visible on the outside 2A of the air duct. It makes it easiermanufacture, transport and assembly as parts can be manufactured and delivered separately andput together in place. The use and adaptation of the arm structure 1is also facilitated when an air duct 2 suitable for the purpose can be used. It will be possibleto use the same arm construction 1 in different contexts just by changingair duct 2. It also becomes easier to adjust and repair the arm structure 1.1 when it is not hidden inan air duct. The arm construction 1.1 can also be freely seen and interpreted based on its function as suchthat the device 1 becomes easier to use. The air duct 2 is flexible, bendable, at least in the parts that are positionedcoincides with the joints 5 and 7. The air duct 2 may consist of or comprise a hoseor more shaped parts.
