by snapping there against the clips mounted in the frame piece when at the ends of the bar there is a cooperating part of the female member type which allows this mounting method.
It is now becoming more common with aluminum-clad windows, where the frame piece comprises a frame of wood or other material, which is clad with an aluminum profile, hereinafter referred to as a frame profile, to achieve better weather resistance and reduce maintenance over the life of the window.
When fixing the clip is desired, for example with nails, screws or similar fastening devices, you must first make a hole in the frame profile. Due to the hardness of the aluminum and the nature of the surface, this is difficult to perform outside on a construction site in a safe way and without damaging the surrounding aluminum surfaces, which are easily scratched. They have then been forced to make the hole already during the manufacture of the windows at the factory. This has the disadvantages that it becomes difficult to stock windows because all possible combinations and designs of bars occur and it is difficult to predict production volumes of all different variants. In addition, with current solutions, it is difficult to carry out retrofitting outside the factory.
Disclosure of the Invention With the present invention, the object is achieved to solve these problems by primarily eliminating the need for drilling holes in the frame profile. From the first aspect of the invention, the object is achieved in that the clip of the initially specified type is designed to be pressed into place between the frame profile and a sealing strip which is arranged between the frame profile and the window surface. The clip has a base surface with a width along the frame profile / sealing strip and together with the clip's engagement between the frame profile and the sealing strip together with the clip having a recess at one side thereof, which grips a part of the frame profile corner, the corner in contact with the sealing strip. makes the friction between 10 15 20 25 clips, frame roller and sealing strip sufficient to keep the clip in its position along the frame roller / sealing strip even under the influence of the bar's own weight. Furthermore, the grip is sufficient to retain the clip on the frame reel when the bar is removed from the clip. Thus, the need for hole making in the frame profile is eliminated and it is no longer necessary to stock windows with pre-assembled bars. In turn, this speeds up both the pace of production and delivery time as production can be concentrated around standard stock windows. The on-site assembly is also speeded up because the drilling steps are excluded. The present invention achieves the object of solving these problems by eliminating the need for perforation of the frame roller.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is that the dimensions of the clip, i.e. the length and width of said base surface with its circumference, have been tried to retain the rod as described above, but adapted so that the friction and the retaining force do not become too high. The extent of the recirculation is preferably short in relation to the length of the base surface so as not to engage too tightly between the sealing strip and the corner of the frame profile. The design of the clip's length and width and the design of the recirculation must be able to handle the task with the selected safety margin, but the clip must still be fl visible along the frame profile / sealing strip. This has the great advantage during assembly that the clip can be pressed into place, approximately in its correct position, and then moved to its exact position, the position given when fitting the bar.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the base surface of the clip is provided with a central marking on the opposite side, where the central marking is preferably designed as a tip, a v-shaped groove or the like. This design facilitates the solidification of the position of the clip along the frame profile, as for example a central position on the frame profile can be marked in advance, after which the clips are pressed down and positioned with the tip in position for marking the frame profile.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the base surface of the clip is provided with an elevation, a wart preferably arranged to act as a male member which cooperates with the corresponding female member of the bar. The wart can in itself be disengaged from the function as a male organ.
Depending on the requirements of the end user / property owner regarding safety against falling bar parts, the invention offers alternative anchoring options for the clip. This is because the requirements for, for example, a single single-storey villa are completely different from, for example, a building with several floors and where a lot of people move around the building. According to a further preferred embodiment, the clip is provided with an alternative to further securing the clip's attachment to the frame roll or frame piece by providing the clip's wart with a through hole in the center of the wart and which also passes through the base surface. This hole is preferably used both as a guide and drilling template in a drilling operation, to make a hole through the frame reel, whereby it becomes possible to anchor the clip in the frame reel or frame piece with a nail, screw, pop rivet or similar fastening element. Due to the height of the wart, the hole has a guiding function so that the drill drills at the intended angle through the profile, and furthermore also that the fastening member is guided at the right angle for the attachment in the frame roller / frame piece. By providing the clip with this drill template ion lnldion, a protection is obtained at the same time for the surrounding surfaces of the drill roll which are not damaged during the drilling, which can easily happen during a free-standing drilling operation. Providing the clip with this embodiment thus has the advantages over previously known solutions that further securing of the clip is made possible, control during the drilling operation and protection of the surrounding surfaces of the frame profile during drilling.
According to a further preferred embodiment, said holes are arranged at a tested angle in relation to the base surface and the window surface of the clip, partly so that the fastening member can grip the frame roll or frame piece at the desired location and also so that the drilling can be performed without common drilling machines. should come into contact with the window surface during the drilling operation.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the wart of the clip comprises a bevel on the surface which is closest to the recess, and thus closest to the window surface. In this way, the clip does not constitute an obstacle when the window is plastered and cleaned with conventional window cleaning tools such as window scrapers and the like.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the clip is provided with an alternative to further securing the attachment of the clip to the frame reel by providing the clip with an adhesive, for example double-sided adhesive tape. This becomes possible when the base surface of the clip, its length and width are large enough to include the adhesive on the underside of the base surface so that the required anchoring is obtained. This achieves both an extra fuse in addition to the first preferred embodiment and that the surface of the frame roller does not have to be perforated with a hole, which is an advantage if you wish to completely disassemble the bars and clips.
From the second aspect of the invention, the object is achieved in that a method of the type indicated in the introduction comprises the step of pressing the clip into place between the frame roller and a sealing strip which is arranged between the frame roller and the window surface. Since the clip has a base surface with a width along the frame profile / sealing strip and that the clip's engagement between the frame profile and the sealing strip together with the clip having a recess at one side thereof, which grips a part of the frame profile corner, the friction between clips and frame profile is achieved. sealing strip becomes sufficient to hold the clip in its position along the frame roller / sealing strip when the specific gravity of the bar then loads the clip. Furthermore, the grip is sufficient to retain the clip on the frame reel during removal of the bar 10 from the clip. Thus, the need for drilling holes in the frame profile is eliminated and it is no longer necessary to stock windows with pre-assembled bars. In turn, this speeds up both the pace of production and delivery time as production can be concentrated around standard stock windows. The on-site assembly is also speeded up because the drilling steps are excluded.
The present invention achieves the object of solving these problems by eliminating the need for perforation of the frame roller.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invented method, the clip is displaced to its exact position along the frame reel when, in one way or another, the exact position has been determined. Because the dimensions of the clip, ie the width of the base surface and the design of the recess, have been tried to retain the bar as described above, but have been adjusted so that the och iction and the retaining force do not become too high. The design of the clip's width and the design of the recirculation can handle the task with the selected safety margin, but the clip is still visible along the frame profile / sealing strip. During assembly, this has the great advantage that the clip can be pressed into place, approximately in its correct position, and then shifted to its exact position, the position which is given, for example, by the fitting of the rod.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invented method, the clip is used as a guide and drilling template when drilling the frame roll in that the base surface of the clip comprises a ridge, a wart, with a through hole, through both the center of the wart and through the base surface. Due to the height of the wart, the hole has a guiding function so that the drill drills at the intended angle through the profile, which also means that, for example, a drill chuck has free space towards the window surface and also that the fastener is guided at the right angle for attachment to the frame profile. By using the clip as a drilling template, at the same time a protection is obtained for the surrounding surfaces of the frame profile which is not damaged by the drilling, which can easily happen during a drilling operation carried out by hand. According to a preferred embodiment of the obtained method, the clip is anchored to the frame reel or the frame piece with a fastening element, for instance a nail, screw or pop rivet or the like. This becomes possible when the above-mentioned embodiment, a perforated wart, is used. At this moment, the hole forms a guide of the fastening element for fastening at the intended place in the frame reel or frame piece. This is advantageous in cases where a client / property owner wants additional securing of the clip, for example at large spans on the ridge or other design that makes the ridge extra heavy or that the height or nature of the building is such that additional securing is desired.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invented method, the clip is anchored to the frame reel by means of an adhesive, for example double-sided adhesive tape.
This becomes possible when the base surface of the clip, its length and width are large enough to include the adhesive on the underside of the base surface so that the required anchoring is obtained. This achieves both an extra fuse in addition to the first preferred embodiment and that the surface of the frame roller does not have to be perforated with a hole, which is an advantage if one wishes to completely dismantle bars and clips in accordance with the purpose in the previous paragraph.
According to a preferred embodiment of the claimed method, the clip is completely demountable, i.e. it is removed by hand from the frame profile. In this embodiment, there will be no permanent traces of the clip either on the sealing strip or on the frame profile. This has the advantages that the property owner without special tools or special knowledge can change the appearance of the window from bar provided to without bar without remaining holes in the frame profile or for that matter perform thorough cleaning or renovation of: the window or bar parts.
The above preferred embodiments are set out in the dependent claims. The invention is explained in more detail by the following detailed description of embodiments of the invention with reference to the accompanying figures.
Brief description of the ur gures In detail represents in diametrical, partly schematic cross-sections or perspective views: - Fig. 1a and lb show a complete frame piece in the form of a window frame with a detachable bar.
Fig.2a-2d detailed pictures of the clip in section, view, top view and in perspective.
Figs. 3a and 3b show the position of the clip on a frame profile and in detail.
Fig. 4a and 4b show alternative anchorages of the clip in the frame piece with nails or against the frame profile with double-sided adhesive tape.
Detailed description of the figures Figures 1a and 1b show a complete frame piece in the form of a window frame with a detachable bar.
A frame piece 3 which comprises a core preferably of wood. The frame piece 3 encloses a surface 6, which surface is, for example, a window glass or other sheet-shaped material, depending on whether it is a window, a door or another type of window-like portion. The frame piece 3 also comprises a cladding profile, a frame profile 4, which preferably consists of aluminum, and which is mounted against the frame piece in one way or another. In order to achieve a visual effect of the surface 6 consisting of a number of smaller surfaces, detachable bars 2 are mounted against the surface 6, by snapping the bar 2 towards the frame piece. This is made possible by the frame piece being provided with clips 1 in the form of a male member, which clips are mounted against the frame roller 4, and that at the ends of the bar there is a counterpart in the form of female members where the means cooperate to retain the bar on the frame roller 4 and are also arranged so that the bars are then demountable. Fig. 2a-2d show detailed images of the clip in section, view, top view and in perspective.
The clipset 1 comprises a base surface 7, which has a length L and a width B as well as a first side 13 and a second side 14 opposite to the first side.
The first side 13 comprises a recess 8, which has a short extent in relation to the length L of the base surface 7 and where the recess 8 has an angular change in relation to the base surface 7 which is preferably more than 90 °. The other side 14 of the base surface 7 comprises a center mark in the form of a center mark 9 in the form of a tip.
Furthermore, an elevation is arranged, a wart 10 preferably centrally on the base surface 7, where the wart 10 comprises a through hole 11 which also passes through the base surface at the bottom of the wart 10. The diameter of the hole 11 is coordinated with a suitable fastening element, for example nails, screws, pop rivets or the like. The center axis of the hole 11 has an angle α: relative to the base surface, preferably in the range 70-120 °. The height H of the wart 10 is arranged so that sufficient control, of a feasible fastening device, is achieved. In addition, the wart 10 has a tested bevel 12 on the side closest to the first side 13, which bevel is preferably coordinated with the height H of the clip 1 in such a way that sufficient free space is obtained between the clip in its mounted position and the surface 6, so that cleaning of the surface 6 is facilitated.
Fig. 3a and 3b show the position of the clip on a frame profile and in detail.
The figure shows a part of the frame piece 3, which is lined with the frame roller 4 and where the frame piece also covers the surface 6, for example a window surface, and where a seal 5 is arranged between the surface 6 and the frame roller 4. Because the seal 5 is resilient it is permitted that the clip 1 is pressed into place, whereby the recess 8 engages around the corner 15 of the frame roll 4, between the frame roll and the seal 5 and that the underside of the base surface 7 will rest on the plane of the frame roll. Because the wart 10 has the tested bevel 12, which cooperates with the height H of the wart, a small space is obtained between the clip 1 and the surface 6 arranged so that the clip does not constitute an obstacle when cleaning the surface 6, for example when using such 20 25 10 called window scrapers.
Fig. 4a and 4b show alternative anchors of the clip in the frame piece with nails or against the frame profile with double-sided adhesive tape.
Clipset 1 is pressed into place in the same way as described above in Figure 3. In cases where an additional securing of the clip is desired, for example in the case of particularly heavy bars or when additional demands are made on increased safety, the clip can be anchored further compared to the above, in The embodiment described in Figure 3.
According to the embodiments in Figure 4a, the clip 1 is anchored in the frame piece 3 by means of a fastening element 16, for example a nail or a screw, alternatively in the frame profile 4 with a pop rivet or the like. Before anchoring, a hole 17 must be accommodated in the frame profile 4, where the fastening element 16 is inserted and then anchored in the frame piece.
In this case, the invention makes it possible to use said clips 1 first as a drilling template, by first bringing the clip into its correct position along the frame roller 4, after which, for example, a drill is passed through the hole 11 and where the hole 11 then forms a guide for the drill during drilling operation and a positioning of the occupied hole 17 through the frame profile. Then the fastening element, in the preferred example the nail, is passed through the hole 11 and further through the hole 17 in the frame roller 4 and can thus be fastened in the frame piece 3 by means of a suitable tool, for example a hammer. Due to the adapted angle of the hole 11 in relation to the base surface 7 and thus in relation to the surface 6, which was described in Figure 2, accessibility in the drilling operation is facilitated in such a way that the drilling equipment has free space relative to the surface 6. This angle is also advantageous in the fastening of the fastening element. , for example when nailing.
According to the embodiment in Figure 4b, the clip 1 is anchored to the frame profile 4 by means of an adhesive 18, preferably a double-sided adhesive tape, which is applied to the underside of the base surface 7 before mounting the clip 1 to the frame profile, in accordance with the description in Figure 3. When the clip is pressed into place and if moved along the frame roller 4 to its exact position, the protective foil on the adhesive is removed and the clip is pressed against the frame roller. 10 1 = c1ips 2 = bar s 3 = frame piece 4 = frame piece 5 l 5 = sealing ring 6 = surface 7 = base surface 12 PARTS LIST 8 = round 1 5 = corner 9 = center marking 1 6 = fastening element 10 = wart 17 = hole1 11 = hole1 18 = adhesive 1 2 = bevel 1 3 = first side 1 4 = second side
