专利说明:

The invention relates to a console with articulated armrests, having an unlocking mechanism for pivoting armrests to access a receptacle for the removal of objects. .
It is known to make consoles having lids for accessing a receptacle. Generally, these covers have their pivot axis disposed on the width of the rear edge. The document FR2877614 describes a console whose lids are mounted on the longitudinal edges. The console comprises a fixed body, and an armrest pivotally articulated on the body around an adjustment axis, so as to take at least two stable positions of height adjustment support. The armrest thus comprises at least two distinct bearing surfaces, inclined relative to each other around the adjustment axis, and which selectively define supports in the respective stable positions at different heights. relative to the adjustment axis. These armrests are maneuvered by hand and do not have a mechanism for their pivoting automatically. The invention aims to overcome these disadvantages by providing a console with lids whose opening is performed automatically by simply pressing a push button disposed at the front end of the console. For this purpose the invention proposes a cockpit console for a vehicle comprising a receptacle and at least one armrest articulated on the border of the frame of said receptacle, the armrest being locked to close the console, and comprising a mechanism mounted on a support integral with the frame associated with a control element adapted to cooperate by direct contact with an unlocking element of the armrest.
Advantageously, the control element of the mechanism incorporates a push button mounted between one end of the lever arms, the other end comprising a sleeve adapted to pivot about an axis connected to the support.
According to a variant, the control element pivots around a substantially vertical median axis.
According to another embodiment of the invention, the control element comprises a heel constituted by an extension of the right-angle lever arm providing a positive stop under the force of a compression spring to arrange the push button in a service position.
Optionally, the unlocking element of the mechanism consists of lever arms at the end of which are formed bolts secured to a horizontal axis hinged in bearings of the support.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the unlocking element comprises a pin spring whose branch is in tension on an edge of the support and at the back two branches bear on the edge of the arms of the levers now protruding bolts.
According to one variant, the end of the bolts is rounded.
Advantageously, the unlocking element pivots about a substantially vertical median axis.
According to a variant, the control element is actuated by the push button whose inner edge cooperates in direct contact on the edge of the arms of the levers of the bolts of the unlocking element which pivot and release the bolts of the armrests causing their opening .
According to another variant, the console comprises two armrests flush on its median axis. The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising a receptacle and at least one armrest hinged and locked, having the aforementioned characteristics. The invention will be clearly understood and other aspects and advantages will become clear from reading the following description given by way of example with reference to the appended figures in which: FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the upper part; the console whose lids are locked in the closed position; FIG 2 shows a perspective view of the upper part of the console whose lids are locked in the open position; FIG 3 shows a perspective view of the upper part of the console whose right cover is in the open position while the left cover is in the closed position; FIG 4 shows a perspective view of the upper part of the console whose left cover is in the open position while the right cover is in the closed position; FIG. 5 shows a partial top view of the console at the level of the unlocking control mechanism; FIG. 6 shows a partial perspective view of the console at the level of the unlocking control mechanism; FIG 7 shows a profile view in partial section of the console at the level of the unlocking control mechanism, in a position of the locked cover; FIG 8 shows a partial sectional view along the axis of the console at the unlocking control mechanism, in a locked position of the lid; FIG 9 shows a partial sectional view of the unlocking control mechanism, in a position of the unlocked lid; FIG. 10 shows a partial rear sectional view of the unlocking control mechanism; FIG 11 shows a perspective view of the console in its configuration of use between the two seats.
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the upper part of the console 1, the armrests 2, 3 forming lids to provide access to a receptacle, are locked in the closed position. The upper part of the console 1 consists of a rectangular frame 4 on which the armrests 2, 3 are connected by a hinge on the longitudinal edges 5 of said frame 4. The armrests 2, 3 have a rectangular shape covered with a lining 2b, 3b of sufficient thickness to provide comfortable elbow support for the user. The armrests 2, 3 have a width adapted so that the edges of the free ends are contiguous on the longitudinal axis of the console 1. The front end of the console 1 comprises a mechanism 6 of compact unlocking implanted on the edge 4. This mechanism 6 makes it possible to automatically lock the armrests 2, 3 when they are folded manually in the horizontal position. An elongated push button 7 connected to the mechanism 6 is slidable in openings 2a, 3a of the end rim of the armrests 2, 3. The mechanism 6 is compact in width so as to limit the protrusion in the direction of the length of the console 1 and support the mounting of the frame 4 equipped with the mechanism 6 on the structure of the console 1, to provide considerable access to the interior of the console 1.
FIG. 2 presents a perspective view of the upper part of the console 1 whose covers are shown in the open position in order to access the receptacle 16. A press on the push button 7 sliding in the recesses 2a, 3a allows simultaneously to unlock the armrests 2, 3 by releasing the bolts 10, 11 of the housings 17a, 18a formed in the flanges 17, 18 of said armrests 2, 3. The armrests 2, 3 have on their axes of rotation a spiral spring (not shown) allowing automatic pivoting of the armrests 2, 3 when unlocked and therefore providing access to the receptacle 16.
Figure 3 shows a perspective view of the upper part of the console 1 whose lid 2 of the right is in the open position while the lid 3 of the left is in the closed position. This configuration is possible when a support is made on the armrest 3 which must remain locked, for example by leaving the elbow on the armrest 3.
In this case, pressing the push button 7 unlocks the bolts 10, 11 by pushing them along the arrow 45 out of the housings 17a, 18a of the armrests 2, 3. A return spring (not visible) allows to replace the bolts 10 , 11 and the push button 7 in their initial position.
Figure 4 shows a perspective view of the upper part of the console 1, the lid 3 of the left is in the open position while the lid 2 of the right is in the closed position. This configuration is the reverse of the configuration described in Figure 3 following the same principle of operation. The support of the elbow in this case is performed on the armrest 2 on the right.
Figure 5 shows a partial top view of the console 1 at the unlocking control mechanism 6. The mechanism 6 is designed to occupy a small space, especially in the longitudinal direction. The constituent elements of the mechanism 6 do not extend beyond the envelope of the push button 7, only the axis 25 of fixing said push button 7, protrudes on each side to be fixed on a support 26 secured to the frame 4 of the console 1 The bolts 10, 11 are integrated in the frame 4 and protrude above the push-button 7. The flanges 17, 18 of the armrests 2, 3 are adapted to be flush with the edge of the frame 4 and to lock the housings provided for in FIG. this effect.
Figure 6 shows a partial perspective view of the console 1 at the unlocking control mechanism 6. In the view, it can be seen that the push button 7 has a groove 19 parallel to the frame 4, in particular the top of the rim of this groove 19 sliding in the opening of the frame 4 is flush with the end of the bolts 10, 11. groove allows to receive the edge of the armrests 2, 3 during their closures. The edge of the armrests 2, 3 allows to erase the bolts 10, 11 which are projecting under the action of a hairpin spring, exerting a force on their rounded upper part. The mechanism 6 comprises two pairs of arms 20, 21 of levers mounted substantially vertically, a pair of lever arms connected to the push button 7 and a pair of lever arms 21 connected to the bolts 10, 11.
In the foreground, the pair of curved lever arms 20 is connected at one end to a sheath 22 of horizontal axis and at the other end to each end 7a, 7b of the push button 7. A stiffening strut 24 is integral with the sheath 22 and arms 20 of curved levers. An axis 25 passes through the sleeve 22 to engage at each end of said sleeve 22 in two bores formed in supports 26 integral with the frame 4 of the console 1. In the background, we see the arms 21 levers bolts 10 , 11 mounted on a horizontal axis 27. A spring 28 (visible fig 8) pinning is also mounted on the axis 27 between the arms 21 of levers so as to maintain the bolts 10, 11 constantly projecting. The sleeve 22 is disposed vertically above the front of the push button 7. The lever arms 20 are connected vertically to the sleeve 22 and then extend in a curve to connect on each side and at the rear of the push button 7. A hubcap 40 covers the top of the frame 4 at the mechanism 6 revealing the bolts 10, 11 projecting.
FIG. 7 shows a profile view in partial section of the console 1 at the level of the compact unlocking control mechanism 6, in a position of an armrest 2, 3 locked. The compact mechanism 6 mounted on a support 26 integral with the frame 4 comprises a control element 12 comprising the push button 7 adapted to cooperate with an unlocking element 21 of the armrest 2, 3 comprising the bolts 10, 11. The element 12 and the unlocking element 13 pivot about a central axis 47, 48 substantially vertical. The stroke of the push button 7 is limited to the positive stop 29 which presses a bearing surface 26 by means of an elastomeric abutment. The positive stop 29 is a heel constituted by an extension of the lever arm 20 at a right angle around the sleeve 22. The push button 7 is held in the operating position under the effect of the compression spring 30. The compression spring 30 is mounted on a stud 31 fixed to the frame 4 and bears on the inner edge 7c of the push button 7. The lever arms 21 associated with the bolts 10, 11 pivot about the axis 27. The bolts 10, 11 come into taken in housings 17a, 18a of the flanges 17, 18 of the armrests 2, 3. A hubcap 40 mounted on the frame 4 allows to present a good perceived quality. It is understood that pressing the pushbutton 7 along the arrow 46 ensures the pivoting of the lever arm 20 having the inner edge 7c of the pushbutton 7 bears on the edge of the arms 21 of the levers of the bolts 10, 11 which pivot about the axis 27, and release the bolts 10, 11 of the housing 17a, 18a armrests 2, 3 causing their lifting automatically if they are retained. In the case where they are retained, the release of the push button 7 releases the bolts 10, 11 which re-engage in the housings 17a, 18a of the armrests 2, 3.
Figure 8 shows a partial sectional view along the axis of the console 1 at the unlocking control mechanism 6, in a position of the armrest 2, 3 locked. The compression spring 30 is mounted on the stud 31 secured to the frame 4 at one end and is centered on a nipple integrally formed with the inner edge 7c of the push button 7 so as to keep it in the retracted position of service. The spring 28 pinned return mounted on the axis 27 comprises a branch 28c (not shown) bearing on the support 26 while two other branches 28b bear against the edge of the arms 21 of the levers of the bolts 10, 11 of in order to keep the bolts 10, 11 constantly protruding and engaged in the armrests 2, 3.
Figure 9 shows a partial sectional sectional view of the unlocking control mechanism 6, in a position of the lid 2, 3 unlocked. In this view, it is shown that all the contact zones are provided with abutments 32, 33, 34 made of elastomers in order to avoid shock or contact noises of the component parts of the mechanism 6.
FIG. 10 shows a partial sectional rear view of the unlocking control mechanism 6, on which a first control element 12 consisting of the pushbutton 7 integral with the pair of curved lever arms 20 is connected at one end to a sleeve 22 of horizontal axis. The axis 25 passing through the sheath 22 engages in bores of the support (not shown). A stiffening spacer 24 is integral with the sleeve 22 and curved lever arms 20. This first element 12 has a generally rectangular shape. In addition, at each end of the push button 7 are implanted flexible stops 34, 35. In the inner casing of the first control element 12 is inscribed the second unlocking element 13. The second unlocking element 13 consists of the arms 21 of levers at the end of which are formed the bolts 10, 11, secured on a horizontal axis 27. The pin spring 28 mounted on the axis 27 has two branches 28a, 28b which bear on the edge 21a of the arms 21 of the levers of the bolts 10, 11 in order to exert a constant effort so as to keep the bolts 10, 11 constantly protruding and resting on the rear edge of the push button 7. On each slice 21a of the arms 21 of the levers of the bolts 10, 11 are implanted flexible stops 36, 37.
Figure 11 shows a perspective view of the console 1 in its use configuration between the two front seats 38, 39 of the vehicle. On view, the center console has been truncated, it normally extends to the dashboard. It ends at the rear by a block 41 having two openings 42, 43 sequents for receiving containers such as for example, drink cans and is extended by the console 1 comprising the armrests 2, 3. The console 1 is positioned so that the user is comfortable when his elbow is placed on the armrest 2, 3 and his hand is close to the front of the console 1. Thus, pressing the push button 7 positioned at the front of the console 1 is easy and intuitive to allow the automatic pivoting of the armrests 2, 3 and access to the receptacle for depositing or removing objects. In this case, in the figure the armrest 3 has remained locked.
