DEVICE FOR IDENTIFYING AN OBJECT COMPRISING A
LABEL
Technical area
The present invention relates to an identification device of an object, the object having a label. The present invention is in the field of automatic data capture (AIDC for Automatic Identification and Data Capture in English).
By "tag" is meant in particular: - an electronic tag such as a radio-tag ("RFID tag" in English for Radio-frequency identification), or - an optical tag such as a barcode.
Biometric type labels, optical character recognition, magnetic tapes, etc. can also be mentioned. Such labels make it possible to obtain the traceability of the identified object. The term "object" is understood as a real object, for example a product, or as a virtual object, for example an activity. Thus, applications handling, storage, sorting, order preparation, electronic traceability of livestock and domestic animals, access control are considered.
State of the art
A device known from the state of the art, in particular from US Pat. No. 8,832,323, comprises: a data capture module configured to capture data from the tag of the object; a hull comprising a first enclosure delimiting a first reception volume intended to receive a smartphone ("smartphone" in English), the hull being fixed to the data capture module; - Wireless connection means configured to connect the data capture module to the smart phone.
Such a device of the state of the art is not entirely satisfactory insofar as the data capture module is not protected in the event of a fall of the device. In addition, in operation, the device is entered by the user via the data capture module, which is not necessarily designed to be ergonomic, because of its main technical function. It is then desirable to design an ergonomic shape of the data capture module to ensure easy grip of the device by the user, which complicates the manufacture and increases the related costs.
Presentation of the invention
Thus, the present invention aims to remedy all or part of the aforementioned drawbacks, and for this purpose concerns a device for identifying an object comprising a label, the device comprising: a shell comprising a first enclosure delimiting a first volume of reception intended to receive a smartphone; a data capture module configured to capture data from the label of the object; - Connection means configured to electrically connect the data capture module and the ordiphone; the device being remarkable in that the shell comprises a second enclosure delimiting a second reception volume, and in that the data capture module is arranged inside the second enclosure, within the second reception space.
Thus, such a device according to the invention makes it possible to protect the data capture module in the event of a fall via the shell. In addition, it is not necessary to design an ergonomic form of the data capture module insofar as the device in operation is grasped by the user via the shell, which reduces the manufacturing costs relative to the size of the data capture module. state of the art. Moreover, such a shell makes it possible to securely attach the smartphone and the data capture module in an ergonomic manner, and allows interchangeability of both the computer and the data capture module. Such a device according to the invention forms a mobile data capture terminal.
By "ordiphone" is meant a mobile electronic device that provides, by radio, communication functions, such as telephony and / or access to the Internet, as well as computer or multimedia functions. The term "ordiphone" includes a smartphone ("smartphone" in English) or a touch pad.
Advantageously, the device comprises a radio-identification antenna mounted on the shell, the radio-identification antenna being configured to cooperate with the data capture module.
Thus, the fact that the radio-identification antenna is mounted on the shell makes it possible to have a single certification of compliance with respect to the radiofrequency electromagnetic compatibility of the data capture module.
Advantageously, the connection means are mounted on the shell.
Thus, such a shell allows a physical connection between the ordiphone and the data capture module. By "physical connection" is meant a wired electrical connection.
According to one embodiment, the connection means comprise: a first physical connector intended to provide an electrical connection with the ordiphone; a second physical connector adapted to provide an electrical connection with the data capture module.
Advantageously, the first and second speakers are superimposed or juxtaposed.
Thus, such arrangements of the first and second speakers facilitate the gripping of the device by the user.
Advantageously, the device comprises first guiding means arranged to guide the ordiphone inside the first enclosure.
Advantageously, the device comprises second guide means arranged to guide the data capture module inside the second enclosure.
Thus, such first and second guiding means make it possible to simplify the interchangeability of the ordiphone and the data capture module.
According to a variant, the device comprises first and second drawers slidably mounted relative to the shell, and forming respectively the first and second enclosures.
Thus, such first and second drawers make it possible to simplify the interchangeability of the ordiphone and the data capture module.
Advantageously, the connection means comprise a charge management unit of the batteries of the ordiphone and the data capture module.
Thus, such a management unit optimizes the consumption of the device. The battery of the ordiphone can dispose of the energy of the battery of the data capture module, and vice versa.
Advantageously, the shell comprises a third enclosure delimiting a third reception volume, and the device comprises a payment terminal arranged inside the third enclosure, within the third reception space.
Thus, such a device also forms a mobile point of sale (MPOS for Mobile Point of Sale).

The shell 1 advantageously comprises two opposite longitudinal edges 100 interconnected by two opposite side edges 101. The shell 1 advantageously comprises a wall 5 extending between the two longitudinal edges 100 and between the lateral edges 101 so as to form the first enclosure 10 and the second enclosure 11 on either side of the wall 5, the first and second speakers 10, 11 being superimposed. The first and second enclosures 10, 11 are advantageously shaped to conform respectively to the contour of the ordiphone 2 and the data capture module 3. The wall 5 is advantageously provided with an opening 50 so as to communicate the first and second 10, 11. The opening 50 is advantageously shaped to insert the battery 33 of the data capture module 3. The shell 1 is preferably made of a plastic material, preferably by 3D printing.
The wall 5 and the longitudinal edges 100 advantageously form a slideway for guiding the ordiphone 2 inside the first enclosure 10, and for guiding the data capture module 3 inside the second enclosure 11. As a result, the ordiphone 2 and the data capture module 3 are removably mounted relative to the shell 1. A side edge 101 of the shell 1 advantageously forms a stop for the ordiphone 2.
According to a variant, the device comprises first and second drawers slidably mounted relative to the shell 1, and forming respectively the first and second enclosures 10, 11.
The shell 1 advantageously comprises an opening 12 formed in a lateral edge 101. The opening 12 is advantageously shaped to allow visibility to an optical tag reader of the data capture module 3. The device advantageously comprises at least one antenna of mounted on the shell 1. More specifically, the shell 1 has an outer portion having a U-shaped cross-section, the outer portion extending from a lateral edge 101. The radio-antenna identification 6 is preferably mounted on the outer part of the shell 1. The shell 1 and the radio-identification antenna 6 are advantageously monobloc. The data capture module 3 advantageously comprises a connector 32 adapted to cooperate with the means of connection 4.
The data capture module 3 is advantageously configured to execute write / read requests for tags such as radio tags or barcodes so as to respectively generate a radio frequency or optical signal comprising the requests, the signal being transmitted. on the radio-identification antenna 6.
The connection means 4 are advantageously mounted on the shell 1. The connection means form a connection module. More specifically, the connection means 4 are advantageously mounted on a lateral edge 101 of the shell 1. The connection means 4 are advantageously mounted on the shell 1 so as to maintain the position of the ordiphone 2 inside the first pregnant 10.
The connection means 4 advantageously comprise: a first physical connector 40 intended to provide an electrical connection with the ordiphone 2 via the connector 20; a second physical connector 41 adapted to provide an electrical connection with the data capture module 3, via the connector 32; a computer bus connecting the first and second physical connectors 40, 41.
