FIG. 1 shows a comfort device 10, in particular intended to equip a public transport vehicle, and more particularly a railway vehicle. This comfort device 10 is intended to be arranged in a room including a passenger room of a railway vehicle, such a room comprising a structural part comprising a floor wall 18 and at least one side wall 20.
In the present description, a "horizontal plane" is defined as being parallel to the ground 18, a "horizontal direction" as being included in a horizontal plane, and a "vertical direction" as being perpendicular to a horizontal plane.
The comfort device 10 comprises a table 12, as well as first 14 and second 16 means of attachment of this table 12 to the structural part of the room, and more particularly to the floor wall 18 and to the side wall 20.
The table 12 conventionally comprises a plate 22 and a central leg 24 connected to the plate 22, for example secured to this plate 22.
The first fixing means 14 comprise a fixed support on the ground 26, intended to be fixed to the floor wall 18, and intended to be removably connected to the central foot 24 of the table 12. For this purpose, the support fixed to the floor 26 comprises means 28 for holding the central foot 24, shown in greater detail in FIGS. 2 and 3.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the fixed ground support 26 has a vertical protruding shape, having a peripheral edge 32 comprising an upper rim 34 extending from a portion of this peripheral edge 32. The upper rim 34 extends horizontally from the peripheral edge 32 away from the side wall 20.
The central foot 24 has a hollow lower zone 36 having an inner edge 38 of shape complementary to that of the peripheral edge 32. Thus, when the inner edge 38 cooperates with the peripheral edge 32 by surrounding it, the central foot 24 is immobilized in translation in any horizontal direction.
The hollow lower zone 36 also has a stop 40 projecting towards the interior of this lower zone 36.
The inner abutment 40 is intended to be inserted under the upper flange 34, this inner abutment 40 being intended to cooperate with this upper flange 34 to limit a vertical upward movement of the table leg 24. Advantageously, a game remains between the abutment 40 and the upper rim 34, to allow a slight vertical displacement of the table 10 when the second attachment means 16 are not active.
Advantageously, the peripheral edge 32 has a chamfer 42, opposite the upper edge 34. The assembly of the table leg 24 with the fixed support on the ground 26 is first of all carried out by bringing the lower zone 36 in an inclined manner. to insert the inner stopper 40 under the upper rim 34, as shown in Figure 2. Then, the table leg 24 is tilted to assume a vertical position, as shown in Figure 3. Note that the chamfer 42 prevents the peripheral edge 32 forms a stop opposing the tilting of the table leg 24 to its vertical position.
In this vertical position, the inner edge 38 cooperates with the peripheral edge 32, so that the table leg 24 is immobilized in translation in any horizontal direction. Moreover, because of the cooperation of the inner abutment 40 with the upper rim 34, the displacement of the table leg 24 in vertical translation is limited.
The separation of the table foot 24 from the fixed support to the ground 26 is only possible by inclining the hollow lower zone 36, in a reverse movement from that used for assembly.
A first example of first attachment means 14 is shown in FIG. 4. In this figure, elements similar to those of the preceding figures are designated by identical references.
According to this variant, the hollow lower zone 36 is formed by a plate comprising a through orifice delimited by the inner edge 38. The plate 36 is intended to be fixed to a lower end of the table leg 24.
The protruding form 30 is preferably arranged in a recess 44 so as not to protrude or protrude only slightly from the surface of the ground 18. It is indeed preferable that the height of the support fixed to the ground 14 relative to the floor 18 is limited to avoid discomfort when the table 12 is disassembled.
The second fastening means 16 are shown in more detail in FIGS. 5 to 8.
The second attachment means 16 comprise a lateral fixed support 46 intended to be fixed to the vertical wall 20 of the room, close to the fixed support on the ground 26, so that the table 12 can be fixed both to the fixed support at the same time. floor 26 and at the lateral fixed support 46.
The lateral fixed support 46 comprises a first sliding connection portion 48, complementary to a second sliding connection portion 50, which is carried by a fastener 52 intended to be secured to the plate 22 of the table 12. The connection by sliding is oriented vertically.
The first 48 and second 50 slideably connecting portions form, for example, a dovetail connection.
The first connecting portion 48 is formed by a rail, extending in the vertical direction, and having a trapezoidal section in a horizontal plane.
The second connecting portion 50 is formed by a complementary housing of the rail 48, elongate in the vertical direction, wherein the rail 48 is slidable vertically.
Alternatively, the first connecting portion could be inversely formed by an elongate housing and the second connecting portion by a complementary rail.
The rail 48 extends in the vertical direction between a first end 48A, intended to be presented first during the insertion of the rail 48 into the housing 50, to a second end 48B. The rail 48 preferably has a width, in a transverse direction perpendicular to the vertical direction and parallel to the side wall 20, which increases from the first end 48A to the second end 48B. The rail 48 is therefore delimited laterally by two inclined sidewalls. Thus, the rail 48 has, in front view, a generally trapezoidal shape.
Similarly, the housing 50 extends in the vertical direction from a lower mouth 50A, to which the first end 48A of the rail is adapted to be inserted, to an upper end 50B. The housing 50 has a width, in the transverse direction, which decreases from the lower mouth 50A to the upper end 50B. The housing 50 is therefore delimited laterally by two inclined side walls. The housing 50 thus has, in front view, a general shape of trapezium.
These trapezoidal shapes have several advantages. In particular, the width of the rail 48 at its first end 48A being less than the width of the housing 50 at its lower mouth 50A, the insertion of the rail 48 into the housing 50 is facilitated. The rail 48 may in particular be inserted into the housing 50 without following a purely vertical trajectory, but following a curved path, corresponding to the tilting of the foot 24 mentioned above.
The rail 48 is shown partially inserted in the housing 50 in FIG.
The stroke of the rail 48 in the housing 50 is limited by the cooperation of the inclined walls of the rail 48 with the inclined walls of the housing 50, which are in end-of-travel contact with the rail 48 in the housing 50. These inclined walls in contact make it possible to also partially support the weight of the table 12.
The rail 48 and the housing 50 are assembled at the end of travel of the rail 48 in this housing 50, as shown in FIG. 8.
In order to maintain the fastener 52 and the lateral fixed support 46 in this assembled configuration, the comfort device 10 comprises retractable means 54 for blocking the fastener 52 on the lateral fixed support 46.
These retractable locking means 54 are active when the fixing member 52 is attached to the lateral fixed support 46 at the end of the travel of the rail 48 in the housing 50.
These locking means 54 are movable between a locking position, in which the rail 48 and the housing 50 are joined together, and a release position in which the rail 48 and the housing 50 are free to move one by report to the other.
Examples of blocking means 54 are described in more detail in FIGS. 9 and 10, which respectively represent an example of a lateral fixed support 46 and an example of a fastener 52.
According to this exemplary embodiment, the lateral fixed support 46 comprises an inner panel 46A, intended to be fixed to the side wall 20 of the room by conventional fixing means, for example by means of screws 56, and a second outer panel 46B, intended to be attached to the inner panel 46A, and carrying the rail 48. For this purpose, the inner panel 46A has an upper form of interlocking 58, for example formed by an upper strip secured to the rest of the panel 46A, and the second outer panel 46B has a bent upper interlocking portion 60 for resting on the strip 58.
Fixing the inner panel 46A with the second outer panel 46B is finalized by conventional lower fastening means 62, for example screws.
Alternatively, the lateral fixed support 46 is made in a single part, in which case the fasteners 56 are apparent, as is the case for the example of FIGS. 5 to 8. The fastener 52 of the example of FIG. FIG. 10 comprises a first vertical panel 52A, bearing the housing 50, and a second horizontal panel 52B intended to be fixed to the plate 22 of the table 12. For this purpose, the second horizontal panel 52B is provided with passage orifices of fasteners such as screws.
Advantageously, the fixing member 52 comprises reinforcing gussets 64, connecting the first vertical panel 52A to the second horizontal panel 52B.
The locking means 54 comprise at least one male element 66 carried by the fastener 52, movable between an extended position and a retracted position, and at least one first elastic member 68 for biasing the male element 66 towards its deployed position.
The blocking means 54 also comprise at least one fixed female element 70, complementary to the male element 66, carried by the lateral fixed support 46, each male element 66 being opposite the corresponding female element 70 when the fixing member 52 is attached to the lateral fixed support 46 at the end of the travel of the rail 48 relative to the housing 50. In the example shown in FIG. 9, the lateral fixed support 46 carries a single female element 70 common to both male elements 66, but it could alternatively include a female element for each male element.
As long as the rail 48 and the housing 50 cooperate with each other without being at the end of their stroke, the male element 66 cooperates with the lateral fixed support 46, in particular with the rail 48, to be pushed towards its retracted position. Thus, as long as the rail 48 and the housing 50 cooperate with each other, the male element 66 can be deployed only when it faces the corresponding female element 70.
Moreover, the blocking means 54 comprise means 72 for moving the male element 66 towards its retracted position, operable by an operator, for example by means of an attached element such as a key, for example a wrench. square section.
In the example described in FIG. 10, each male element 66 is formed by a hook carried by a rotating spindle 74. This rotating spindle 74 is carried by the reinforcing gussets 64. The rotating spindle 74 comprises, at least 1 one of its ends, an actuation form forming the displacement means 72.
Preferably, the rotating shaft 74 has such a form of actuation at each of its ends, so that it can be indifferently operated on one side or the other, depending on the preference of the operator.
In the example described in FIG. 9, the female element 70 is formed by an attachment part formed at the lower end 48B of the rail 48. In a variant, each female part 70 is formed by an orifice formed in the rail 48, opposite the corresponding hook 66.
According to another variant not shown, the male element is formed by a bolt movable horizontally. The corresponding female element is then formed by a complementary orifice.
Advantageously, as shown in FIG. 11, the fixing member 52 carries a second elastic member 76 intended to be arranged between this fixing member 52 and the lateral fixed support 46, in order to apply a separation force between this fixing member 52 and the lateral fixed support 46 in the vertical direction.
This second elastic member 76 is for example formed by an elastic blade carried at the upper end 50B of the housing 50, and intended to bear on the first end 48A of the rail 48, which forms a rim as can be seen in FIG. 9 .
Thus, when the fixing member 52 is assembled to the lateral fixed support 46, and the locking means 54 are deactivated by actuating the displacement means 72, the fixing member 52 rises along the rail 48 under the effect the spreading force exerted by the second elastic member 76, so that the male elements 66 are no longer opposite the corresponding female element 70. The blocking means 54 are thus deactivated. The table 12 remains in place however, the rail 48 and the housing 50 remaining held together by their shape dovetail.
The stiffness of the second elastic member 76 is chosen to withstand the weight of the table, the spreading force must be greater than this weight, so that only a pushing action of the operator downwards can engage each male element 66 in the corresponding female element 70.
The assembly and disassembly of the comfort device 10 according to the invention will now be described.
In order to mount the comfort device 10, the table leg 24 is first provided, inclined, on the fixed support on the ground 26, by inserting the stop 40 under the flange 34, as shown in FIG. 2.
The table 12 is then tilted so as to vertically straighten the table leg 24 as shown in FIG. 3
During this tilting, the fixing member 52, carried by the table 12, cooperates with the lateral fixed support 46, whose rail 48 is engaged in the housing 50. Due to the trapezoidal shapes of the rail 48 and housing 50, they come to cooperate easily with each other despite the fact that the docking is done during the tilting of the table 12, and not during a purely vertical movement.
When the rail 48 reaches the end of travel in the housing 50, a thrust force must be exerted on the table to overcome the spreading force exerted by the second elastic member 76, until each male element 66 is engaged in the corresponding female element 70. The fixing member 52 is then locked on the lateral fixed support 46, both vertically thanks to the locking means 54, perpendicularly to the side wall 20 due to the dovetail shape of the rail 48 and the housing 50. , and transversely because of the side walls of the rail which cooperate with the side walls of the housing 50.
In order to disassemble the table, it is necessary to actuate the means 72 for moving the male elements 66, in order to move them in their retracted position and thus disengage them from the corresponding female element 70. The fastener 52 is then no longer locked vertically, and the latter is driven upwards by the effect of the second elastic member 76. The male elements 66 are then no longer facing the corresponding female elements 70, if although the blocking means 54 are deactivated.
Thus, these blocking means 54 are deactivated without requiring the movement means 72 to be maintained, so that the operator thus has his two hands free to then maneuver the table 12.
It should be noted that the vertical displacement of the fixing member 52 to deactivate the locking means is possible thanks to the clearance defined between the abutment 40 and the rim 34, as well as, preferably, thanks to the flexibility of the connection between the foot 24 and the plate 22.
The table 12 is then tilted, in a movement opposite to that having been carried out during the mounting of the table, to release the foot 24 of the fixed support on the ground 26.
The table can be transported to be mounted on other mounting brackets provided in the room.
FIG. 12 shows the fixing member 52 according to another variant embodiment. In this figure 12, elements similar to those of the preceding figures are designated by identical references.
According to this embodiment, the male elements 66 have a hook shape extending above their rotating axis 74 in the vertical direction (so in the direction of the tablet). Each male element 66 has an elongated body 66A connected to the rotating axis 74, and an extension 66B extending from projecting from the body 66A, the extension 66B being intended to be inserted into the corresponding female element 70.
The body 66A is inclined with respect to the vertical direction towards the female element 70.
Thus, because the male member 66 extends above the rotating axis, and the body 66A is inclined toward the female member 70, in the case of upward pulling force applied to the table 12, the male element 66, cooperating with the female element 70, undergoes a torque around the axis 74, towards the female element 70, which has the effect of reinforcing the locking. The security of the lock is thus reinforced in this variant.
Optionally, the male element 66 is provided with a lever 78 integral with the body 66A, extending below the axis 74. This lever 78 forms secondary displacement means, which can be activated, for example, if the means of displacement 72 are deteriorated.
Note that the invention is not limited to the embodiment previously described, but could have various other variants.
For example, other structures of blocking means 54 are conceivable.
According to another variant, the table has no foot, and has only one plate 22.
