专利说明:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a support element for a wiper blade of a motor vehicle. The invention also relates to a wiper blade incorporating such a support member and a motor vehicle wiper comprising said wiper blade.
A support member (e.g. a stiffening vertebra), a wiper blade, and a wiper support are components of the wiper that are longitudinally oriented. The support member and the blade are introduced in longitudinal sliding in complementary longitudinal conduits of the support. The longitudinal blocking of the support member and the blade in the support ducts is achieved by end caps mounted on each end of the blade. Each tip is made to be locked on the associated end of the support member.
Conventionally, the locking of the tip in the engaged position on the support member is formed by means of a notch formed in a longitudinal edge of the vertebra, receiving an associated locking member.
Both ends of the support member each comprise a notch, and the two notches are formed in the same longitudinal edge of the support member. Thus, it is known to make each nozzle according to the end of the blade on which the tip is intended to be mounted. As a result, the two endpieces that must be mounted on a broom are different, which poses problems of increasing the number of devices used to make the components of the broom.
Also known from document FR 2 922 502, an end piece having two locking means made symmetrically so that the end piece is able to be mounted indifferently on one or the other of the two ends. of the support element. The blade then has two identical end caps which are mounted on each of its ends. However, these end caps symmetric locking are complex to achieve and therefore expensive. Indeed, the molding of two locking means which must both be flexible and operative involves complicated molds and molding operations, which the invention described below simplifies.
An object of the present invention is therefore to simplify the windscreen wiper blades of the prior art. To this end, the subject of the present invention is an elongate elastic support member for a wiper blade for insertion into a wiper blade holder, the elongate elastic support member being formed of a alone holding between two longitudinal ends and through which passes a median longitudinal plane, the elongate elastic support member comprising locking means each for cooperating with a complementary locking member carried by the wiper blade and at least a locking means is provided at each longitudinal end of the elongate elastic support member, characterized in that the locking means comprise a single longitudinal end locking notch, a first locking notch extending on one side of the median longitudinal plane and a second locking notch extending from the other side of the plane medial longitudinal. The end piece can thus have a single locking member and be mounted indifferently on one or the other of the two ends of the elongate elastic support member. The end piece is thus the same for both longitudinal ends of the wiper blade. The wiper blade of the invention is then recognizable by the fact that the tip end is of identical design, that is to say for example from the same mold.
Identical end caps that can be mounted on any longitudinal end of the wiper blade reduce the number of equipment used to make the wiper blade components.
In addition, an end piece having a single locking member is simpler to produce and therefore less expensive than a tip of the prior art having symmetrical locking means. The elongate elastic support member is for example one or more stiffening vertebrae, a support frame of the blade or a combination of this stiffening vertebra housed in this support frame.
According to an exemplary embodiment, the positioning of the locking notches vis-à-vis the support member provides the elongate elastic support member a central symmetry with respect to a center of the elongate elastic support member. There is at least one diagonal passing through the same point of each of the locking notches and passing through the center of the support member.
According to an alternative embodiment, at least one of the locking notches is formed on one of the lateral edges delimiting the elongate elastic support member. It is understood here that the locking notch opens at the longitudinal side edge which defines the vertebra. This locking notch is thus open on the longitudinal side of the vertebra. Of course, the invention covers the case where the two single locking notches are formed opening on the relevant side edge of the support member.
Alternatively, at least one of the locking notches is delimited by a closed circumferential edge. The locking notch is then for example a closed perimeter hole offset laterally to or inside the stiffening vertebra. Here too, the invention covers the case where the two unique locking notches are perimeter closed.
In either case, the locking notch may be through the support member.
According to a possibility of the invention, at least one of the locking notches is in intersection with the median longitudinal plane. Although formed on either side of the median longitudinal plane at each respective longitudinal end of the vertebra, the locking notch may overlap the median longitudinal plane.
The longitudinal ends of the stiffening vertebra may be chamfered, to facilitate the introduction of the stiffening vertebra into the end cap and / or the brush holder. The invention also relates to a wiper blade characterized in that it comprises an elongate elastic support member according to any one of the above definitions. Preferably, the wiper blade according to the invention comprises a single elongate elastic support member according to any one of the above definitions, more preferably housed in a wiper blade support mount. This last design, advantageous, reduces the number of parts of the brush and therefore its unit cost.
The wiper blade according to the invention can comprise any of the following characteristics, taken alone or in combination: in such a wiper blade, at least one end-piece is provided carrier of the complementary locking member of the locking means provided on the elongate elastic support member, - the end piece comprises a housing receiving the longitudinal end of the support member, the locking member making protruding on one side of the housing to cooperate with the locking notch of the support member for locking the support member in position engaged in the housing, - the locking member of the end piece has a single tab elastic ; in other words, the end cap comprises a single resilient locking tab, - the elastic tongue moves in a plane substantially perpendicular to the median longitudinal plane, - the elastic tongue moves in a plane substantially parallel to the longitudinal plane median, - the housing of the end piece has an opening formed in line with the locking member, - a same wiper blade comprises two end caps each attached to a longitudinal end of the element of support, the end caps being of identical design, - the end cap is obtained by molding, the locking member of the end cap is disengageable to allow disassembly of the end cap from the longitudinal end of the wiper blade. The invention further relates to a wiper characterized in that it comprises a windscreen wiper blade as described above and an actuating arm for driving the windscreen wiper blade to pivot. In the remainder of the description, the longitudinal, vertical and transverse directions indicated in FIG. 1 will be adopted by way of the trihedron (L, V, T) fixed with respect to the wiper blade 1. The longitudinal direction L corresponds to the main direction of the wiper blade. In the following description, identical or similar elements will be designated by the same reference numerals.
The following achievements are examples. Although the description refers to one or more embodiments, this does not necessarily mean that each reference relates to the same embodiment, or that the features apply only to a single embodiment. Simple features of different embodiments may also be combined to provide other embodiments.
FIG. 1 shows a windscreen wiper 1 of a motor vehicle which comprises a driving arm 22 at the free end of which a wiper blade 10 is articulated.
The wiper blade 10 is a flat blade type brush ("fiat blade"), that is to say with a connection means which attaches to a central point of the wiper blade. ice cream. It is here longitudinal main orientation.
As can be seen in FIG. 2, the wiper blade 10 comprises a support, an exemplary embodiment of which is a support frame 14. The description below is made with reference to this embodiment, but is understood that the support in its generality can substitute for the support mount.
The wiper blade, and thus the elongate elastic support member, extends along a longitudinal plane P1, median in that it cuts in two transversely equal portions the elongate elastic support member. .
The wiper blade 10 also includes a longitudinal stiffening vertebra 16 which also forms an exemplary embodiment of the elastic and elongate support member. This element is elastic in that it is likely to resume a rest position after being subjected to an effort to bend the element. It is also elongate in that it extends longitudinally along the length of the wiper blade 10. In the description below, the terms stiffening vertebra are used, but they may be substituted by the expression elongated elastic support element, object of the invention.
This stiffening vertebra 16 may be arranged in the support mount 14, which form an embodiment of the support or the structure of the brush 10 itself.
The support mount 14 carries a connecting device 20 for mounting and articulation of the wiper blade 10 on the free end of the driving arm 22 pivotally and a wiper blade 18 which is made of a flexible material, and which is able to come into contact with the glass panel to wipe.
The support mount 14 also includes or receives an air deflector 15 which is aerodynamically shaped so that the relative wind, which is produced by the movement of the vehicle, produces a force tending to press the wiper blade 10 onto the glazed panel. The air deflector 15 is for example formed in two parts fitting to the support mount 14 on either side of the connection device 20. Note that the air deflector 15 can be attached by a mechanical operation Alternatively, the support mount 14 and the air baffle 15 may be co-molded or coextruded, so that they can not be separated from each other without destruction of the support frame 14. one or the other of these elements.
The stiffening vertebra 16 is formed of a body in one piece. This stiffening vertebra is a metal strip which is bent in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the glass panel to be wiped, so that when the wiper blade 10 bears against the glass panel, the support forces exerted by the driving arm 22 are distributed over the entire length of the wiper blade 18.
The stiffening vertebra 16 is also carried by the support mount 14. For this purpose, and as can be seen more clearly in FIG. 4, the support mount 14 comprises a longitudinal central duct which receives the stiffening vertebra 16.
The longitudinal central duct overcomes two lower hooks 24 vis-à-vis, which delimit a lower longitudinal duct open downwards, in which a heel 55 of the wiper blade 18 is received. The stiffening vertebra 16 and the wiper blade 18 are introduced into the respective ducts of the support frame 14 in a longitudinal sliding movement. When the stiffening vertebra 16 and the wiper blade 18 are in position mounted in the support mount 14, their longitudinal ends 16a, 18a protrude longitudinally with respect to the associated longitudinal end 14a of the support mount 14, as shown in FIG. we can see it in figure 5.
Each longitudinal end of the wiper blade 10 carries an end cap 26 which locks the stiffening vertebra 16 and the wiper blade 18 in a direction along the longitudinal direction of the blade, blocking the sliding longitudinal in one direction relative to the support frame 14 and the air deflector 15, and which improves the overall aesthetic and aerodynamic appearance of the wiper blade 10 (Figure 6). The end cap 26 is for example of polymer material and can be obtained by molding.
As can be seen in more detail in Figures 7 and 8, each end cap 26 defines a hollow body in which the longitudinal ends 14a, 16a of the support frame 14 and the stiffening vertebra 16 are received.
Each hollow body has a housing 30 in which the longitudinal end 14a of the support frame 14 and the air deflector 15 are received. The hollow body further comprises a vertebra housing 32 extending longitudinally behind the housing housing 30 and wherein the longitudinal end 16a of the stiffening vertebra 16 is received. This is the housing 32 receiving the longitudinal end 16a of the support member 16.
The vertebra housing 32 is defined in particular by two lower edges of two ribs 28, longitudinal, parallel which extend from an upper wall 40 of the hollow body. The end 42 of each lower edge 28a of the ribs 28 can be further chamfered, to facilitate the introduction of the stiffening vertebra 16 into the vertebra housing 32.
Each rib 28 also forms a longitudinal stop of the end piece 26 against the longitudinal end 15a of the air deflector 15. The end piece 26 also comprises two longitudinal hooks 44 which extend downwards. from the bottom 34 of the vertebra housing 32, and which are curved transversely inwards, so as to define a lower housing 46 in which the upper back of the wiper blade 18 is adapted to be received. The end piece 26 also has a first transverse vertical stop 48 which closes one end of the vertebra housing 32 so as to form a longitudinal stop of the stiffening vertebra 16. The end piece 26 has a second vertical stop transverse 49 which closes an end of the lower housing 46 so as to form a longitudinal stop of the wiper blade 18.
Thus, when the two end caps 26 are mounted at the two longitudinal ends of the wiper blade 10, they are integral with the stiffening vertebra 16, and each end cap 26 forms a stop of the support frame 14, the air deflector 15 and the wiper blade 18 sliding longitudinally forwards or backwards, thereby preventing the separation of the stiffening vertebra 16 and / or the wiper blade 18 from with the support mount 14.
To immobilize the stiffening vertebra 16, and incidentally the wiper blade 18, relative to the support mount 14, the end cap 26 comprises a locking member 56 which cooperates with a locking means 50 formed at one end of the elongate elastic support member. According to the invention, there are two locking means 50 including a first notch referenced 50b is provided at a first longitudinal end 16a of the elongate elastic support member, and a second locking notch 50c is provided at a second longitudinal end 16a the elongated elastic support member opposite the first longitudinal end relative to the body of the elongate elastic support member.
According to one embodiment, the first locking means and / or the second locking means is a locking notch 50b, 50c carried by a longitudinal end 16a of the stiffening vertebra 16 to lock the longitudinal end 16a of the vertebra of stiffening 16 in the engaged position in the vertebra housing 32.
As can be seen in FIG. 3, this locking notch 50c, 50b is made in a lateral edge 52, or opening into this lateral edge 52, of a longitudinal end 16a of the stiffening vertebra 16, and extends transversely towards the inside of the stiffening vertebra 16.
Alternatively, shown in FIG. 3a, the locking notch or notches 50b, 50c are a hole delimited or surrounded by a closed circumferential edge 57, formed in the stiffening vertebra 16.
FIG. 3b illustrates another possibility of the invention applicable to the embodiment where the locking notch 50b, 50c opens at the side edge 52 and the embodiment where the locking notch 50b, 50c is delimited by the circumferential edge 57. According to this possibility, the locking notch 50b, 50c is in intersection with the median longitudinal plane P1. In other words, the locking notch 50b, 50c is single and extends mainly over a half-transverse portion of the stiffening vertebra 16, a portion of the locking notch 50b, 50c being cut or traversed by the median longitudinal plane P1.
In the cases described above, the transverse and longitudinal positioning of the locking notch 50b, 50c relative to the elongate elastic support member 16 is identical to the two longitudinal ends 16a of this support member.
Each longitudinal end 16a of the stiffening vertebra 16 has a single locking notch 50b, 50c.
The two locking notches 50b, 50c are respectively formed in an opposite lateral edge 52 of a longitudinal end 16a of the body of the stiffening vertebra 16, as can be seen in FIG. 3, conferring on the stiffening vertebra 16 a central symmetry with respect to the center O of the stiffening vertebra 16. The same applies to the embodiment with closed perimeter locking notch. The locking member 56 of the end piece 26 projects on one side of the vertebra housing 32 to cooperate with a locking notch 50b, 50c of the stiffening vertebra 16 to lock the stiffening vertebra 16 in the engaged position in the vertebra housing 32.
As can be seen in Figure 9, the locking member 56 of the end piece 26 comprises for example an elastic tongue 54 which extends substantially longitudinally and which is bent inwardly of the vertebra housing 32 in a perpendicular plane, or substantially perpendicular to the median longitudinal plane P1, so that the free end 54a of the elastic tongue 54 is adapted to be received in the locking notch 50b, 50c associated with the stiffening vertebra 16.
The elastic tongue 54 is able to deform elastically towards the outside of the vertebra housing 32 during the introduction of the longitudinal end 16a of the stiffening vertebra 16 into the vertebra housing 32. The elastic tongue 54 is made in a lateral wall of the vertebra housing 32, so that its free end 54a is transversely movable upon insertion of the stiffening vertebra 16 into the vertebra housing 32.
For this, the free end 54a of the tongue 54 bears against the lateral edge 52 of the stiffening vertebra 16. Then, when the stiffening vertebra 16 is in the mounted position in the vertebra housing 32, the notch of 50 is located at the free end 54a of the elastic tongue 54. The elastic tongue 54 then elastically returns to its initial configuration, so that its free end 54a is vis-à-vis a transverse face 50a locking notch 50b, 50c. When the stiffening vertebra 16 has a tendency to exit the vertebra housing 32, the transverse face 50a of the locking notch 50b, 50c abuts against the free end 54a of the elastic tongue 54.
Alternatively, the elastic tongue 54 is arranged to move and realize its locking function in a parallel plane, or substantially parallel to the median longitudinal plane P1. Instead of moving transversely towards the lateral edge 52 of the stiffening vertebra 16, the elastic tongue 54 moves towards a large longitudinal face delimiting said vertebra. The end piece 26 is thus made so that it can be mounted indifferently on one or other of the longitudinal ends 10a of the wiper blade 10.
To assist in the insertion of the stiffening vertebra 16 into the vertebral housing 32 of the end cap 26, each longitudinal end 16a of the stiffening vertebra 16 may have chamfers 58, for example two.
The chamfers 58 of the longitudinal ends 16a of the stiffening vertebra 16 also promote the transverse deformation of the elastic tongue 54 towards the outside during the insertion of the longitudinal end 16a, the chamfer 58 forming a ramp on which the end free 54a of the elastic tongue 54 is supported. The locking member of the end piece 26 can be disengageable, to allow disassembly of the end piece 26 with the longitudinal end 10a of the wiper blade 10. This allows in particular to disassemble the wiper blade 18 out of the support mount 14 when it is worn, to replace it with a new wiper blade 18.
For this, the end piece 26 is made to allow the passage of a tool, such as a screwdriver, to cause a deformation of the elastic tongue 54 which cooperates with the locking notch, to exit the free end 54a of the resilient tongue 54 out of the locking notch 50b, 50c. The longitudinal end 16a of the stiffening vertebra 16 is then no longer blocked by the elastic tongue 54, and it can then leave the vertebra housing 32.
As can be seen in FIGS. 8 and 9, the vertebra housing 32 can be opened downwards, at the level of the elastic tongue 54. The bottom of the vertebra housing 32 thus comprises an opening 60 arranged at the level of the elastic tongue. 54. In addition, so that the longitudinal hooks 44 do not hinder access to the elastic tongue 54, the opening 60 is arranged transversely next to the longitudinal hooks 44, as can be seen in Figures 8 and 9. The end piece 26 can thus have a single locking member and be mounted indifferently on one or the other of the two ends 16a of the stiffening vertebra 16. The end piece 26 is thus the same for both longitudinal ends 10a of the wiper blade 10.
End caps 26 which are identical and can be mounted on any longitudinal end 10a of the windscreen wiper blade 10, reduce the number of devices used to make the components of the wiper blade 10. end cap 26 having a single locking member is simpler to produce and therefore less expensive than a tip of the prior art having symmetrical locking means.
