Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a control panel, in particular for a vehicle. The invention also relates to a method for producing the control panel.
Context of the invention
The control panel comprises at least one control button, in particular for starting or stopping a vehicle equipment, such as the rear window defrosting system, the seat heating, the vehicle stability control system. , hazard lights, ...
The control button includes a support detecting element for changing the state of the equipment and a backlit light signal associated with the button to inform the user of the status of the equipment and / or signaling the location thereof. of the control button in case of darkness.
Push buttons are already known, the control button is a module that moves and is visible as such.
Furthermore, it is known a control panel with a unitary decor facade comprising control areas in which it is possible to control the electrical equipment by deformation of the facade. However, either the control zone is shifted with respect to the light signal, which does not easily detect the position of the control zone in the dark, or the method for making the control panel is complex, difficult to industrialize and / or not robust.
In addition, the document DE102011050585 discloses a control panel comprising: - a decorative layer having an aspect face and a rear face opposite to the appearance face, and - a control assembly comprising a front face and an opposite rear face at the front face, the front face of said control assembly being opposite the rear face of the decorative layer, said control assembly being fixed to the decorative layer and comprising a support film, a pressure sensor and a light-emitting diode. The invention aims to provide a robust control panel that can be industrialized easily and reliably, while allowing to detect a support and effectively illuminate the same area of the decor side.
Presentation of the invention
In order to overcome the aforementioned problems, in accordance with the invention, the light-emitting diode and the pressure sensor are printed on the support film.
Thus, the light-emitting diode can be positioned relative to the pressure sensor during the printing operation on the support film, which allows reliable relative positioning and easy industrialization. In addition, the printing operation produces thin flat layers of consistent hardness reducing the risk that when pressure is exerted on the aspect face of the control panel the light-emitting diode and the pressure sensor will deteriorate.
Printing is called a deposit of material, in particular by screen printing, jet drops of material or a similar technique.
According to another characteristic according to the invention, preferably the control assembly further comprises electrically conductive tracks printed on the support film and connected to the pressure sensor and the light emitting diode.
The control panel is thus made simple and reliable.
According to a complementary feature according to the invention, the control panel further comprises a single connector electrically connected to both the pressure sensor and the light-emitting diode by the electrically conductive tracks, said connector being intended to be connected to the housing of electronic control of the vehicle.
Thus, the robustness of the control panel is improved and its implementation in the vehicle is facilitated.
According to another characteristic according to the invention, preferably the pressure sensor and the light-emitting diode are superimposed on each other on the support film.
The pressure sensor and the light-emitting diode are thus made on the same side of the support film.
According to an alternative characteristic according to the invention, preferably the pressure sensor and the light-emitting diode are arranged on opposite sides of the support film, the light-emitting diode is arranged between the pressure sensor and the decorative layer, and the support film is flexible.
Thus, the printing of the pressure sensor and the light-emitting diode do not interfere with each other while being easily positioned satisfactorily with respect to each other. The light emitted by the light-emitting diode is not impeded by the pressure sensor. The deformation of the support film allows the pressure sensor to effectively detect the pressure exerted on the aspect face.
According to another characteristic according to the invention, preferably the front face of the control assembly is bonded to the rear face of the decorative layer.
Thus, it is avoided to damage the control assembly, and in particular the light-emitting diode, by fixing the control assembly on the decorative layer since it is not subjected to a pressure and / or a high temperature.
In various embodiments of the control panel according to the invention, one or more of the following provisions may also be used: the light-emitting diode is of the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) type; the pressure sensor is a piezoelectric sensor; the control panel comprises a plurality of pressure sensors and a plurality of light-emitting diodes, each pressure sensor controlling the ignition of a corresponding light-emitting diode disposed between said pressure sensor and the decorative layer; the control panel comprises a plurality of light-emitting diodes of different colors. The invention further relates to a method for producing a control panel, in particular for a motor vehicle. According to the invention, the method comprises: a) printing a pressure sensor and a light-emitting diode on a support film to make a control assembly, and b) fixing the control assembly on a decorative layer.
Preferably, the method furthermore comprises one and / or the other of the following characteristics: during step a), the pressure sensor and the light-emitting diode are produced by depositing screen-printing or jet-type material drops of material on the support film; during step b) the control assembly is fixed to the decorative layer by gluing.

As a variant, the appearance face might not be flat. The decorative layer comprises an opaque layer 12 and a transparent (or translucent) layer 14. In the embodiments illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the opaque layer 12 consists of a metal plate of substantially constant thickness, preferably of aluminum , having a thickness less than 1 mm, preferably slightly less than 0.5 millimeter. The opaque layer 12 comprises at least one through opening 14 by control zone 2, 3, 4 whose shape corresponds to the pictograms to be displayed. The transparent layer 14 is a one-piece element, preferably made of plastic, in particular polycarbonate, comprising a plate of substantially constant thickness in the direction of control Z and through portions 18 projecting from the plate and extending through through the through openings 14, flush with the metal plate 12. The aspect face 10a is therefore formed by the opaque layer 12 and the through portions 18 of the transparent layer 14. Alternatively, the opaque layer 12 could be constituted by a thin layer of opaque material deposited, advantageously by screen printing, on the transparent layer 14, which would then be devoid of through portions. The control assembly 20 comprises a front face 20a and a rear face 20b, opposite to the front face 20a. The control assembly 20 essentially comprises a support film 22 supporting a pressure sensor 24 and at least one light-emitting diode 26 by control zone 2, 3, 4.
The support film 22 comprises a front face 22a and a rear face 22b, opposite to the front face 22a. It is electrically insulating, consisting of a thin layer of transparent plastic material of the order of 0.1 millimeter to a few tenths of a millimeter thick and is flexible.

In each control zone 2, 3, 4, the light-emitting diodes 26 are arranged between the decorative layer 10 and the pressure sensors 24 in the control direction Z. More precisely, the light-emitting diodes 26 define the front face 20a of the control unit 20. In addition, for each control zone 2, 3, 4, the control unit preferably comprises several organic light-emitting diodes of different colors and controlled separately in order to be able to illuminate the pictogram on the aspect face 10a with different colors.
The support 40 comprises a front face 40a and a rear face 40b, opposite to the front face 40a in the direction of control Z. The front face 40a is fixed to the rear face 20b of the control assembly 20, preferably by gluing. . The support 40 has a substantially constant thickness following the control direction Z, preferably between 1 and 2 millimeters. In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 3, however, the support 40 comprises cavities 42, ie slots, so as to disengage the rear face 20b of the control assembly 20 facing the pressure sensors 24, in order to facilitate their deformation. The support 40 is made of opaque thermoplastic material, preferably consisting of a mixture of polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene.
In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2, the pressure sensors 24 are printed on the front face 22a of the support film 22 with the conductive tracks 28, then the light-emitting diodes 26 are printed on the pressure sensors 24 with the conductive tracks. 30. The rear face 22b of the support film constitutes the rear face 20b of the control assembly 20. Next, the front face 20a of the control assembly 20 is glued to the rear face 10b of the decorative layer 10 and the face before 40a of the support 40 is stuck on the rear face 20b of the control assembly 20. As shown in Figure 2, when a user 50 presses with his finger on the aspect face 10a in one of the control zones 2, 3, 4, the decorative layer 10 undergoes pressure and is slightly deformed. The pressure is transmitted by causing the deformation of the light-emitting diode 26 and the pressure sensor 24 which detects this pressure and transmits an electrical signal to the electronic control unit of the vehicle via the conductive tracks 28 and the electrical connector 32. The control box The vehicle electronics accordingly sends a signal to the corresponding light-emitting diodes 26.
In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 3, the pressure sensors 24 are printed on the rear face 22b of the support film 22 with the conductive tracks 28, while the light-emitting diodes 26 are printed on the front face 22a of the support film 22. with the conductive tracks 30. The pressure sensors 24 constitute the rear face 20b of the control assembly 20. Next, the front face 20a of the control assembly 20 is bonded to the rear face 10b of the decorative layer 10 and the front face 40a of the support 40 is glued to the rear face 20b of the control assembly 20, with the cavities 42 facing the pressure sensors 24. As illustrated in FIG. 3, when a user 50 presses with its finger on the aspect face 10a in one of the control areas 2, 3, 4, the decorative layer 10 is pressurized and slightly deformed. The pressure is transmitted by deformation through the light-emitting diode 26 and the support film 22 to the pressure sensor 24 which detects this pressure and transmits an electrical signal to the electronic control unit of the vehicle via the conductive tracks 28 and the electrical connector 32 The electronic control unit of the vehicle accordingly sends a signal to the corresponding light-emitting diodes 26. The printing operation consists in depositing a thin layer of material, preferably by a screen-printing operation, a fine material jet operation or a similar operation.
