The invention relates to the field of infotainment on board vehicles and, in particular, the thematization of a route traveled by a vehicle.
The multiplication of driving aids and, in particular, autonomous driving functions release the driver from his driving task.
The expectations of automobile customers become expectations of occupancy of navigation time. Drivers are looking for new sailing experiences, especially in urban areas, which bring them pleasure in driving and well-being.
The autonomous and connected vehicle transforms the car into a place conducive to the transmission and reception of multimedia content.
Document FR2743168 discloses a multimedia type of computer equipment for the automatic broadcasting of multimedia animations, for example of tourist activities as part of a journey on board a vehicle. This equipment has the disadvantage of requiring to use a pre-established route to enjoy multimedia content. This multimedia content is not customizable on board the vehicle. This results in the distribution of standardized and relatively identical content for each individual and each journey. The invention therefore aims to remedy the aforementioned problem by providing a method and a device for embellishing any route.
It proposes more specifically for this purpose a method for thematizing a route traveled by a vehicle, said method being implemented by a thematization module on board the vehicle and comprising steps of: - Receiving an experience from a based on predefined experiments, said experiment being associated with a plurality of steps, - Reception of a route originating from a navigation system of the vehicle, - Selection, for each step of said experiment, of a place from a database of places, so that each of the places is associated with a stage and is located near the route, - Receiving location information, originating from the navigation system, during the journey of the vehicle along of the route, and indicating a current position of the vehicle, - When the geolocation information coincides with a selected location, then the transmitting a signal controlling the dissemination by an interface of the vehicle, at least one media file associated with the selected location and experience received. The invention makes it possible to thematize a route, that is to say, to associate an external ambient theme selected by the driver of the vehicle with a route. The invention makes it possible to select, along a given route (without modifying it), the most appropriate places to retrieve an experiment selected by a user. The invention also makes it possible to restore the various stages of an experiment during the passage of the vehicle near the selected places.
The restitution of an experiment results from the combination of two choices made by the user a route and a themed ambience experience. The crossing of these two choices leads to the creation of a restitution of a non-standardized experience.
According to one characteristic of the invention, the steps of an experiment being ordered, the locations are selected so that the order of diffusion of the media associated with the locations is identical to the order of the steps of the selected experiment.
When the experience is relative to a narrative, including a narrative, the order in which the steps take place is particularly important. This characteristic makes it possible to respect the narrative frame and the actantial schema of a story during the restitution in the vehicle.
Advantageously, the stages of an experiment being ordered, the locations are selected so that the order of diffusion of the media associated with the locations is identical to the order of the tests of the selected experiment.
Advantageously, each location of the location database being associated with at least one keyword and one geolocation information, each experience being associated with at least one keyword, the selection of a location comprises steps of:
Calculating a distance between the vehicle route and the locations of the base, a location being selected if the distance is less than a first predetermined threshold,
Comparison of the keywords of the places with the keywords of the experiment, a place being selected if it is associated with at least one key word identical to one of the keywords of the experiment.
Advantageously, the method for theming a route further comprises a step of receiving a new experience and in response to receiving the new experience, selecting, for each step of the new experience, a location from a database of places, so that each of the places is associated with a step and is located near the remaining route to be traveled by the vehicle.
Advantageously, the method for theming a route further comprises: a step of calculating a distance between the current position of the vehicle and a selected place, a step of issuing a confirmation request before the broadcast of the associated media instead, said confirmation request being issued when the calculated distance is less than or equal to a second predetermined threshold. The invention also relates to a device for thematising a route traveled by a vehicle, characterized in that it comprises a thematisation module on board the vehicle and comprising: means for receiving an experience from a base of a vehicle; predefined experiments, said experiment being associated with a plurality of steps, means for receiving a route from a navigation system of the vehicle, means for selecting, for each test of said experience, a place from a database of places, so that each of the places is associated with a test and is located near the route, means for receiving geolocation information from the navigation system, during the course of the journey. vehicle along the route, the geolocation information indicating a current position of the vehicle, the means of controlling the broadcast, by an interface of the vehicle, at least one media associated with the selected location and the received experience, said media being broadcast if the location information coincides with a selected location. The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising a navigation system and an interface, characterized in that it further comprises a device according to the invention adapted to cooperate with the navigation system and the interface. The invention also relates to a system for thematising a route, characterized in that it comprises a vehicle, an experimental database and a location database, the vehicle comprising a device for thematising a route, according to the invention able to communicate with the database of experiments and the database of places. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear on examining the detailed description below, and the accompanying drawings, in which: - Figure 1 illustrates a schematic view of a system according to the invention; FIG. 2 shows a logic diagram illustrating the method according to the invention; - Figure 3 shows an example of route; FIG. 4 illustrates an example of a table of a location database; FIG. 5 illustrates an example of a table of an experimental database.
The attached drawings may not only serve to complete the invention, but also contribute to its definition, if any.
With reference to FIG. 1, the system 100 according to the invention comprises a vehicle 10 communicating with an experimental database 14 and a location database 15.
The vehicle 10 comprises a thematization module 11, wireless transmission means 16, a geolocation module 12 and a man-machine interface 13.
The geolocation module 12 makes it possible to determine the geographical position of the vehicle at a given instant. This is, for example, a GPS satellite geolocation module (for Global Positioning System). The human-machine interface 13 (or HMI) comprises for example a screen embedded in the passenger compartment of the vehicle 10, a head-up display system (or VTH) for projecting the image on a window of the vehicle 10 or any other system for rendering images or videos to a user.
Advantageously, ΙΊΗΜ 13 further comprises a physical system of real-time image inlay of "broadcast" type for inserting a thematized scene in the real navigation scene in real time. A themed scene is thus superimposed or juxtaposed with the scene viewed by the driver according to his movement and his navigation course. An alternative is to use a laminated glass or digital paper as a projection medium while allowing the translucency of the image.
The wireless transmission means 16 allow the transmission and reception of data from and to the outside of the vehicle 10 via a wireless link. The data link is, for example, of the Wi-Fi type, cell phone link (3G, 4G), Lifi (for Light Fidelity) or any other type of wireless link allowing the transmission of data to a landed server or to another vehicle. .
The routing module 11 of a route traveled by a vehicle comprises: means for receiving an experiment from the base 14 of predefined experiments, said experiment being associated with a plurality of steps, receiving means of a route from the navigation system 12 of the vehicle, means for selecting, for each event of said experience, a location from a place database 15, so that each of the places is associated with a test and is located near the route, means for receiving geolocation information, originating from the navigation system 12, during the journey of the vehicle along the route, diffusion control means, via an interface 13 of the vehicle, at least one media associated with the selected location and the received experience, said media being broadcast if the location information coincides with a selected place.
Advantageously, the thematic module 11 also comprises a mixer for embedding virtual images in images of the real scene (in other words, what is perceived by the driver). The mixer allows for luminance incrustations, pattern overlays and chroma keying. The mixer allows you to create an environment and ambience of themed navigation that complements or replaces the environment and the real atmosphere. It allows transitions between a real atmosphere and a themed atmosphere, superimposing live video, titles, graphic elements and animations on backgrounds consisting of live video or graphic elements of the scene. navigation.
The experimental database 14 includes a plurality of experiments. Figure 5 shows an example of a table stored in an experiment database 14. Each experiment includes a title, a plurality of steps, and keywords. In the example, the base 14 includes two experiences entitled "Well-being" and "Energizing".
Each experience is associated with a plurality of steps and at least one keyword. The "Well-being" experience is associated with three stages E1, E2 and E3 and three keywords Nature, Calm and Serenity.
The stages are defined by a transmission and reception, by the occupants of the vehicle, sensory stimuli, thematizing the atmosphere outside the cockpit and perceived by the senses of the said occupants here heard as human sensors.
The choice of an experience (also called contract) by the user leads to the choice of values (example the level of well-being) at the end of a qualifying course and a program of projections of images geolocated to perform modifying all or part of the atmosphere outside the vehicle (urban atmosphere). The "Well-being" experience comprises three qualifying stages E1, E2 and E3: - E1, the colorization in order to blur the atmosphere, associated with a historical reminder of a place; - E2, The colorization associated with soothing music; - E3, The perception of the external atmosphere perceptible by the windows of a cathedral.
The location database 15 has a plurality of locations. Figure 4 shows an example of a table stored in a location database 15. Each location is associated with coordinates, allowing geolocation, and keywords. In the example, the base 15 has 6 different places L-ι, L2, L3, L'-i, L'2 and L'3. Each of these places is associated with coordinates, keywords and at least one media. A medium is for example an image, a sound or a video. The media may also be an indication of color to give to an interior lighting of the vehicle 10.
The location base 15 can be fed in several ways: for example by geolocalised thematic images and positioned on a plane or a map using their geographical coordinates.
This operation is carried out using a terminal capable of being located (thanks to a satellite positioning system and a GPS receiver for example) and to publish (in real time or in a delayed manner) its geographical coordinates (latitude /longitude). Saved positions can be stored in the terminal and retrieved later, or transmitted in real time to a geolocation software platform. The real-time transmission requires a terminal equipped with a telecommunication means of GSM, GPRS, UMTS, radio or satellite type enabling it to send the positions at regular intervals. This makes it possible to visualize the position of the terminal within a map through a geolocation platform most often accessible from the Internet.
The constitution of the base 15 advantageously comprises an indexing phase. For example, an indexing software is used which makes it possible to index the geocoded and tagged textual information, in navigation themes on the principle of the semantic structure of the narratives according to a database of stories constructed by the users, themselves sharing a content. experiences.
Advantageously, the vehicle 10 further comprises an onboard camera 17 for scanning QR codes (acronym for Quick Response) affixed to monuments or buildings. These QR codes are used to obtain their past image or current information on monuments or buildings. The invention also relates to a method for thematizing a route traveled by a vehicle 10. The method, implemented by the theming module 11 on board the vehicle 10, comprises the following steps.
A first step involves receiving an experiment from a base 14 of predefined experiments. In practice, ΓΙΗΜ 13 of the vehicle presents to the driver the experiments available in the experiment database 14. When the user selects one of these experiences, ΙΊΗΜ 13 commands the sending of the selected experience from the experience database to the thematization module 11. In the exemplary embodiment presented, it is assumed that two experiments are available in the base 14: "Well-being" and "Energizer". It is also assumed that the user chooses the relaxation experience.
A second step comprises the reception 22 of a route from the navigation system 12 of the vehicle 10. In the example, the thematization module receives an itinerary I making it possible to travel from the starting point A to the point of arriving B.
A third step includes a selection 23, for each step of said experiment, of a location from a location database, so that each of the locations is associated with a step and is located near the location of the location. route.
The selection of a place 23 is based on a first criterion relating to its location and a second criterion relating to its theme.
The first criterion is evaluated for example by performing a calculation of a distance between the route I of the vehicle and the location of the base 14. A place is selected if the distance is less than a first predetermined threshold S1.
The second criterion is evaluated for example by making a comparison of the keywords of the places with the keywords of the experiment. A place is selected if it is associated with at least one keyword identical to one of the keywords associated with the experience. In this way, we make sure that the selected place is conducive to the return of the experience.
In the example, location L1 is selected because it is associated with the keyword "Nature". The "Relaxation" experience is also at the keyword "Nature".
According to one characteristic of the invention, the stages of an experiment being ordered, the locations are selected so that the order of diffusion of the media associated with the locations is identical to the order of the tests of the selected experiment.
In other words, once the location L-ι is selected to restore the step E-ι, the selected place must necessarily be located downstream of the place Li on (or close to) the route I. In the example , the place selected for the step E2 is the place L2.
The first steps 21 to 23 of the method according to the invention take place for example before the vehicle is started 10 while the driver prepares his journey.
The following steps 24 and 25 take place during a rolling phase of the vehicle during which the vehicle travels the route I.
A fourth step includes receiving geolocation information from the navigation system 12 during the course of the vehicle along the route, and indicating a current position of the vehicle.
When the geolocation information coincides with a selected location, the theming module transmits a signal controlling the diffusion 25, by ΙΊΗΜ 13 of the vehicle 10, of at least one media associated with the selected place and with the experience received.
For example, when the vehicle 10 is at a position P whose distance is less than 1 km from the location L1, the theming module 11 controls the broadcasting of images on the windshield of the vehicle and the distribution of music. The images and the music broadcast are those associated with the place L1 in the location database 15.
Preferably, the thematisation method according to the invention also comprises: a step of calculating a distance between the current position of the vehicle and a selected place, a step of issuing a confirmation request before the diffusion step 25 of the media associated with the place. The confirmation request is issued when the calculated distance is less than or equal to a predetermined threshold.
According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, the user can modify the experience he has chosen along the route. In this case, the method further comprises a step of receiving a new experience (selected by the driver) and in response to receiving the new experience, selecting, for each step of said experience, a location to from the location database, so that each of the locations L1 ', L2', L3 'is associated with a step and is located near the route I remaining to be traveled by the vehicle 10.
It is assumed that the experience chosen by the driver is well-being. At the approach of the first location L1, the thematization module 11 issues a request for confirmation, and if the driver confirms the thematization then the thematic module 11 controls the diffusion of the geolocated elements present in the location database (images, sounds, video) and responding to the wellness navigation theme. For example, it is a colorization of the urban atmosphere perceived by the occupants, a projection of images in augmented reality and a dressing of reality with a historical reminder of the place or a futuristic vision of the place . At the approach of the second location L2, the thematization module 11 issues a request for confirmation, and if the driver then confirms the thematic module 11 commands the diffusion of the geolocated elements present in the location database (images, sounds, video) and answering the navigation theme "Well-being". At the approach of the third location L3, the thematic module 11 issues a request for confirmation and if confirmation then broadcast of the geolocalised elements present in the base (images, sounds, video) responding to the navigation theme "Well-being" . It is for example to project on the glazing kaleidoscopic transforming into stained glasses thus suggesting meditation.
The device makes it possible to create and project images and stories on the windows of an automobile, during a journey. Images and stories are for example received from another car. The restitution of the images and narratives is enslaved to a system of geolocation making it possible to trigger a projection according to the geolocated places. The system is adaptive and collaborative, drivers and passengers of connected vehicles can share themed experiences that appeal to them as they approach a point of the course.
