专利说明:

[0001] The present invention relates to applicators for applying a cosmetic product to human keratin materials, and more particularly, but not exclusively, applicators for eyeliner, product on the lips, eyeshadow or mascara. The invention also relates to a packaging and application device and a corresponding makeup process. Among the known eyeliner application devices, some comprise a container provided with a threaded neck on which can be fixed a closure cap which carries a rod provided at the end with an applicator tip generally made by injection of thermoplastic material with a flocking coating. A wiper member is usually placed in the neck to wipe the shank and reduce the amount of product removed upon removal of the applicator. Applicator pens are also known, which are more practical to use. However, the performance of these pens are sometimes set back from those that can be obtained with complex shapes of known applicator tips, made by injection or advanced machining felt. FR 2 933 281 discloses an eyeliner applicator comprising a rod and an applicator tip carried by the rod, which can be deformed during use and for tracing in the selected orientation two lines of different thicknesses. FR 2 836 031 discloses an eyeliner applicator having at least two tips. There is a need for other applicators to draw different lines according to the orientation given to the applicator, which are relatively simple to use and to manufacture. The invention thus aims to further improve the applicators of cosmetic product on keratin materials and it achieves this through an applicator of a cosmetic product on human keratin materials, comprising: a support, and an applicator tip of longitudinal axis ( X) carried by the support, this point presenting: o a base portion of axis (X) allowing, by at least one of its portions, the attachment to the support, and 3036260 2 o a connecting application part at the base portion and having at least three surfaces, each contour formed by - at least one edge, and / or - a base line joining the application portion to a cylindrical portion of axis (X) of the base part, the shape of the contours of said surfaces being different two by two and not symmetrical with respect to each other with respect to an axis or a median plane. The invention allows new makeup effects depending on the shapes and contours given to the application surfaces and makes it easier to apply the product, in particular by improving the comfort of use and the effectiveness of the applicator. Preferably, the applicator tip is in one piece. The applicator tip is advantageously made of a porous material, in particular synthetic or natural fibers all oriented substantially in the same direction, in particular along the longitudinal axis (X), and assembled to form a felt. The applicator tip is preferably soaked with the cosmetic product to be applied, in particular eyeliner, lipstick, eyeshadow or mascara. This may allow the product to easily diffuse by capillarity within the applicator tip, because of its porosity. The fibers are used to transport the product along the applicator tip.
[0002] The applicator tip may be immersed in a cosmetic product reservoir outside its periods of use, which notably allows a greater autonomy thereof. The base portion may extend from one end of the applicator tip to the application portion and the application portion may extend from the base portion to the other end of the applicator tip. Thus, the applicator tip is formed between its two ends, the base portion and the application portion only. The applicator tip is preferably made by cutting a single-piece cylindrical part, in particular by cutting said surfaces in the cylindrical part, in particular by means of a movable cutting tool which can be rotated in all directions of the space. The cylindrical piece is circular or not, for example elliptical base or polygonal, including square, rectangular or triangular. Preferably, the cylindrical piece is circular. When the cylindrical piece is non-circular base, its diameter is by extension that of the smallest circle in which the section is inscribed. The cylindrical part may be unstaged or comprise two cylindrical portions of different diameters, in particular one of the cylindrical portions, preferably the portion of larger diameter being intended to form the application part and the other of the cylindrical portions being intended to to form the base part. The base part may be at least partially, for example totally, inserted into the support. The base portion may be forcefully inserted into a housing of the support.
[0003] The cylindrical portion of the base portion, in particular the entire base portion, may be cylindrical of revolution or cylindrical with a non-circular base, in particular rectangular or triangular. The application portion may have a height H2 less than or equal to 50%, better than or equal to 25% of the total height H1 of the applicator tip.
[0004] The height H2 of the application portion may be between 0.5 and 20 mm. The applicator tip may be devoid of axis of symmetry. The applicator tip may have at least one plane of symmetry, preferably a single plane of symmetry, including a plane of symmetry containing the longitudinal axis of the applicator tip.
[0005] The d / H2 ratio, of the greatest dimension in cross-section of the applicator tip and the height H2 of the application portion, may be between 0.04 and 14. The largest dimension d in cross-section the applicator tip may be between 0.8 mm and 7 mm.
[0006] When the greatest cross-sectional dimension of the applicator tip and the height H2 of the application portion are small, the applicator tip is relatively rigid and may allow precise application of the product. When the largest cross-sectional dimension of the applicator tip is small and the height H2 of the application portion is large, the applicator tip is flexible and while maintaining application accuracy of the product.
[0007] When the largest dimension in cross-section of the applicator tip is large and the height H2 of the application portion is small, the applicator tip is rigid and allows a stable tampon-like application to the skin. When the largest cross-sectional dimension of the applicator tip and the height H2 of the application portion are large, this allows for a stable product application for a marked makeup. The surfaces may each be flat or non-planar, in particular concave, convex or revolving. The edges can be bright or not. Preferably, none of said surfaces is planar and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The surfaces are preferably non-cylindrical of revolution. A convex surface may allow junction with the base portion with or without a ridge, that is, with or without a break in slope. The junction is distinguished in that, in displacement along the axis (X) of the base portion towards the application portion, the tangent to the outer surface forms an angle with the longitudinal axis (X) continuously varying . Preferably, at least three of the surfaces are made by cutting a cylindrical piece. The applicator tip may or may not have, after cutting of the at least three surfaces, one or more surfaces that have not been cut.
[0008] Preferably, at least three of said surfaces do not form, at the end of the application point, a flat surface perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (X). Each of the surfaces may have an area of between 1 mm 2 and 80 mm 2. At least one of the surfaces may be flat and form an angle α between 1 ° and 80 ° with respect to the longitudinal axis (X) of the applicator.
[0009] An angle α with respect to the weak longitudinal axis (X) makes it possible to have one end of the thin applicator tip and to make an accurate makeup. An angle with respect to the longitudinal axis (X) high makes it possible to make a makeup pad of the applicator tip on the skin. At least one of the surfaces may be concave or convex and have a radius of curvature of between 1 mm and 190 mm. A surface having a small radius of curvature makes it possible, for example, to create a clearance facilitating the application with the aid of another of the surfaces.
[0010] A surface having a high radius of curvature makes it possible, for example, to make up the entire line above the eye in a single movement. At least one of the surfaces may tap toward the distal end of the applicator tip.
[0011] At least two of the surfaces may have a common edge. The common edge may be rectilinear or non-rectilinear, in particular concave or convex. Such an edge can make it possible to make a thin line or a particular line profile according to the curvature. At least three of the surfaces can have a vertex in common. This can make it possible to have a fine point allowing fine lines to be made. The applicator may comprise at least one additional contour surface formed by at least one edge, and / or a base line joining the application portion to a cylindrical portion of axis (X) of the base portion. and having a contour either of identical shape to that of one of said surfaces, or symmetrical with that of one of said surfaces with respect to an axis or a plane. The invention further relates to a device for packaging and application, comprising: a reservoir containing the cosmetic product, in particular makeup, in particular an eyeliner, a product to be applied to the lips, an eyeshadow or a mascara , an applicator according to the invention. The cosmetic product may comprise one or more colored pigments. The applicator support can form the reservoir containing the cosmetic product. The device may then be in the form of a felt containing the cosmetic product and the dipping applicator tip, by its base part inserted into the support, into the cosmetic product so that the latter is brought by capillarity to the part d. ' application. Alternatively, the reservoir is separated from the applicator. The support may be a rod mounted on a cap of a container containing the product to be applied so that the applicator tip can fit into the container to imbibe cosmetic product. The invention further relates to an eyelid makeup process comprising the step of applying eyeliner, lipstick, mascara, or eye shadow with an applicator. according to the invention or a device according to the invention. The invention also relates to a lip makeup process, comprising the step of applying lipstick using an applicator according to the invention or a device according to the invention. The invention further relates to an eyebrow makeup process, comprising the step of applying mascara using an applicator according to the invention or a device according to the invention. Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will emerge on reading the following detailed description, non-limiting examples of implementation thereof, and on examining the appended drawing, in which: FIG. 1 schematically represents an example of a packaging and application device according to the invention; FIG. 2 schematically and in perspective shows an example of an applicator tip according to the invention; FIG. Figure 21 is a schematic view of an applicator tip variant according to the invention; Figure 22 is a view according to XXII of the applicator tip variant of Figure 21; and Fig. 23 is a view according to XXIII of the applicator tip variant of Figs. 21 and 22. Fig. 24 shows in elevation another example of an applicator tip, and Fig. 25 is a view along XXV of Fig. 24. In FIG. As a result of the description, identical or similar elements or identical or similar functions bear the same reference numeral in the figures, unless otherwise indicated. The packaging and application device 10 shown in FIG. 1 comprises a support 11 and a closure cap 12, which is fastened for example by snapping, screwing or friction on the support 11. The support 11 extends according to FIG. a longitudinal axis Y and defines a reservoir containing the cosmetic product. The reservoir contains the cosmetic product to be applied. The latter may be a make-up product, especially an eyeliner, and may comprise water, pigments, in particular iron oxide, dyes and / or polymers. The capacity of the reservoir is for example between 1 and 10 ml. The support 11 carries, in a housing 14 at one of its ends, an applicator tip 20 extending along a longitudinal axis X, shown in greater detail in FIGS. 2 to 5.
[0012] After insertion of the applicator tip 20, the longitudinal axis Y of the support 11 and the longitudinal axis X of the applicator tip 20 are preferentially merged. The applicator tip 20 is in one piece. It is preferably made entirely of felt, especially synthetic or natural fibers all oriented substantially in the same direction, in particular along the longitudinal axis X of the applicator tip 20, and assembled to form a felt. When it is inserted in the housing 14 of the support 11, the applicator tip 20 can be dipped at one of its ends into the cosmetic product and imbibed, by capillarity of the cosmetic product, in particular eyeliner. This is particularly the case when the assembly of the support 11 and the applicator tip 20 is such that the applicator tip 20 is oriented downwards.
[0013] As illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 4, the applicator tip 20 has a base portion 22 enabling attachment of the applicator tip 20 to the support 11 and an application portion 24 allowing the application of the cosmetic product by coming into contact with the keratin materials being connected to the base portion 22. The base portion 22 is cylindrical in revolution along the longitudinal axis X, but other shapes are possible without departing from the scope of the present invention, in particular a cylindrical shape of non-circular section, in particular rectangular or triangular. The applicator tip 20 may be fixed by any suitable means on the support 11. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 1, the applicator tip 20, in particular the base portion 22, may be forcefully inserted into a corresponding housing 14. provided at the upper end of the support 11. The base portion 22 can be inserted at least partially in the housing 14.
[0014] The base portion 22 is supplied with product by its proximal end and the product can diffuse longitudinally by capillary action in particular, in the applicator tip until reaching the application portion 24. The applicator tip 20 has a d / H2 ratio between 0.2 and 1.25, d 5 being the largest dimension in cross section, here the diameter, of the applicator tip 20 and H2 being the height of the application portion 24. d may be between 3 mm and 5 mm and H2 can be between 4 mm and 15 mm. As illustrated in FIG. 2, the application portion 24 has a height H 1 that is less than or equal to 50% of the height H 1 of the applicator tip 20. In the example illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 5, the part of FIG. Application 24 has four surfaces 26, 28, 30 and 32. The surfaces 26, 28 and 30 or 32 have different and unsymmetrical contours between them. The surfaces 30 and 32 are symmetrical with respect to a median plane M.
[0015] The contour of each of the surfaces 26, 30 and 32 is formed by ridges 34 with the other surfaces and with the base portion 22. The contour of the surface 28 is formed by ridges 34 with the other surfaces and by a line The curved baseline 36 is defined by the line from which the tangent to the surface varies.
[0016] As illustrated in FIG. 3, the surface 26 is flat and forms, in a view along the median plane M, an angle α of between 1 ° and 45 °. The surface 26 forms, with the surfaces 30 and 32, curved edges 34 and forms, with the surface 28 a rectilinear edge 34, the latter being perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X. The surface 28 is convex and has, in view according to a direction 25 perpendicular to the median plane M, a radius of curvature r28 between 3 mm and 20 mm. The surface 28 forms with the surfaces 30 and 32 curved edges. As illustrated in FIG. 4, the surfaces 30 and 32 are concave and present, in a view in a direction in the median plane M, a radius of curvature η of between 3 mm and 20 mm. The surfaces 30 and 32 each taper toward the end of the applicator tip 20 to terminate at a common apex at the surfaces 26, 28 and 30 and 26, 28 and 32, respectively.
[0017] The applicator tip 20 is made by cutting the surfaces 26, 28, 30 and 32 in a one-piece cylindrical piece, in particular by cutting with the aid of a cutting tool, not shown, which is movable and can be rotated in all directions of rotation. space. The example of FIGS. 6 and 7 differs from that of FIGS. 1 to 5 in the form of the surfaces 26, 28, 30 and 32. In the example of FIGS. 6 and 7, the surfaces 26 and 28 are convex and the surfaces 30 and 32 are flat. The surfaces 26 and 28 are connected to the base portion 22 by a curved baseline 36. The surface 26 has a radius of curvature r26 of between 3 mm and 20 mm and the surface 28 has a radius of curvature r28 of between 3 mm and 10 mm. The surfaces 30 and 32 form, in view in a direction perpendicular to the median plane M, an angle ft with the longitudinal axis X of between 5 ° and 30 °. The surfaces 26, 28, 30 and 32 have a common apex 38 at the distal end of the applicator tip 20. The example of Figures 8 to 10 differs from that of Figures 1 to 5 in having only three surfaces 26, 28 and 30 all different from each other. The applicator tip 20 is symmetrical with respect to a median plane M. The surfaces 26 and 28 are planar. The planes containing the surfaces 26 and 28 are symmetrical with respect to a plane N, shown in FIG. 10, the latter being parallel to the longitudinal axis X but not containing the latter. The surfaces 26 and 28 have different and non-symmetrical contours and each form, in a direction perpendicular to the plane N, an angle p with the longitudinal axis X of between 1 ° and 50 °. The surfaces 26 and 28 do not have edges in common. Their contour is formed by edges 34 with the surface 30 and with the base portion 22. The surface 30 is concave and constitutes the end of the applicator tip 20.
[0018] It is symmetrical with respect to the median plane M and the plane N. Its contour is formed by curved edges 34 with the surfaces 26 and 28 and by baselines 36 with the base portion 22. The example of FIGS. 13 differs from that of FIGS. 1 to 5 in that the applicator tip 20 has the form of a curved tip towards the rear.
[0019] The surfaces 26, 28, 30 and 32 are concave. The surfaces 26, 28 and 30 are of different and unsymmetrical contours. The surfaces 30 and 32 have contours 3036260 11 symmetrical with respect to each other with respect to a median plane M. The contours are all delimited by edges 34. The surface 28 does not extend to distal end of the applicator tip 20. The applicator tip 20 has at its end a surface 40 not made by cutting a cylindrical piece but being a portion of the lateral surface of the initial cylindrical piece. The surface 40 has a contour delimited by all the other surfaces 26, 28, 30 and 32. The example of FIGS. 14 and 15 differs from that of FIGS. 1 to 5 in that the applicator tip 20 comprises two flat surfaces 26. and 28 forming angles with the different longitudinal axis X and a rotational surface 42. The surfaces 26, 28 and 42 are of different and unsymmetrical contours. The applicator tip 20 is symmetrical with respect to a median plane M. Each of the surfaces 26 and 28 is connected to a flat end surface 44 perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X. The end planar surface 44 is not realized 15 by cutting the initial cylindrical piece, it corresponds to a portion of the base of said piece. The surfaces 26 and 28 are connected to identical surfaces 46 corresponding to lateral portions of the initial cylindrical part which have not been machined.
[0020] The surface 42 is a surface of revolution along the X axis and having a circular cross section. Its diameter varies over its height, in particular according to a decreasing and then symmetrical increasing curve. The example of FIG. 16 differs from that of FIGS. 1 to 5 in that the applicator tip 20 has more than three different and unsymmetrical surfaces, here four surfaces 26, 28, 30 and 50. The diameter of the portion of base 22 is smaller than the largest dimension of the application portion 24. The applicator tip 20 is then made by cutting into a cylindrical part of diameter greater than the largest diameter of the application portion of a cylindrical portion of diameter. lower part to obtain a part having two parts of different diameters, the first part forming the base part 22 and the second part intended to form the application part 24. The cuts of the four different surfaces are then made in the second part by a cutting tool.
[0021] The example illustrated in FIGS. 17 and 18 differs from that of FIGS. 1 to 5 in the form of the cutting surfaces 26, 28, 30 and 32. In view in a direction perpendicular to the median plane M, the surface 26 is of concave shape and the surface 28 is of convex shape. In view in a direction in the median plane M, the surfaces 30 and 32 are convex. As illustrated in Figure 17, the applicator tip is first made by cutting the surfaces 30 and 32 in a cylindrical part 60, then by cutting the surfaces 26 and 28 in the part obtained. The example illustrated in FIGS. 19 and 20 differs from that of FIGS. 1 to 5 in the form of cut-out surfaces 26, 28, 30 and 32. The applicator tip is symmetrical with respect to two median planes M and N. surfaces 30 and 32 are flat and symmetrical with respect to each other with respect to the median plane M. Their contours form with the base portion 22 edges 34. The surface 26 is concave and extends from both sides. other surfaces 30 and 32.
[0022] The surface 28 is convex and constitutes the end of the applicator tip 2. Its contour is formed by curved edges 34 with the surfaces 30 and 32 and by edges 34 with the surface 26. The applicator tip shown in FIGS. and 25 illustrates the case where both d and H 2 can be small, which imparts rigidity to the application portion, and allows for precise makeup. In this example, the tip is double, with two projections forming between them a U when the tip is viewed from the side, as in Figure 24. The application portion has a conical surface 26, X axis, connecting to the base portion by a ridge 34.
[0023] A second surface 28 is defined by the inner face of each projection, and a third surface 30 by the bottom of the groove between the two projections, this bottom being connected by an edge 34 to the inner face 28 of each projection, the surfaces 26, 28 and 30 are thus distinct two by two. The expression "having one" should be understood as being synonymous with 30 having at least one.
