[0001] 1 Heat exchanger with protective device. The invention relates to the field of protective devices for heat exchanger and more particularly for heat exchanger placed on the front face of a motor vehicle. In the automotive field, the heat exchangers placed in the front phase can be victims of projections of debris or stones that can damage or even pierce the flat tubes inside which circulates a coolant. In order to protect these heat exchangers, it is known to place in front of them a protection device that can absorb these shocks. However, the fixing of these protective devices is generally performed by clips that must be set up manually, which is long and tedious and not compatible with mass fast production. Fixing the protective device may also be performed at the periphery of the heat exchanger but this may cause vibration problems in rolling condition because the protective device is not fixed in its central part. Thus, one of the aims of the invention is to at least partially overcome the drawbacks of the prior art and to propose an improved fixing protection device. The present invention therefore relates to a protection device for a heat exchanger, said heat exchanger comprising tubes parallel to each other and in which a first fluid flows and perpendicular fins connecting two successive tubes, a second fluid circulating between said tubes passing through said fins. , said protective device being perforated so as to allow the circulation of the second fluid through the fins, said protection device comprising fixing peaks coming into force between the fins. 3035955 2 The presence of these fixing peaks makes it possible to fix the protection device against the heat exchanger by simply pressing it against the heat exchanger. The present invention also relates to a heat exchanger comprising a protection device as described above. The heat exchanger 20 comprises tubes 22, which are here flat tubes, parallel to each other, in which a first fluid circulates between collectors 24. Between these flat tubes 22 are disposed fins 26 connecting two successive flat tubes 2235955 4. A second fluid circulates between said flat tubes 22 by passing through said fins 26. The protective device 1 is preferably made of plastic material and it is perforated so as to allow the circulation of the second fluid through the fins 26. The device of FIG. protection 1 also has fixing peaks 7 which force fit between the fins 26 during its implementation as shown in more detail in Figure 2. The presence of these attachment peaks 7 allows to fix the protective device 1 against the heat exchanger 20 by simply pressing it against the exchanger 10 20. The fixing peaks 7 thus fit between the fins 2, deform, and maintain said protective device. The number of attachment peaks 7 and their distribution is adapted for a suitable attachment of the protective device 1 and also to prevent vibration of the latter in rolling condition. [0003] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, the protective device 1 may comprise: longitudinal bars 3, parallel to one another and intended to cover the sides of the flat tubes 22, and spacers 5 connecting said longitudinal bars 3, The fixing peaks 7 are then placed on the spacers 5 in order to be positioned in front of the fins 26. The protective device 1 may for example cover only the lower half of the heat exchanger 20, which is its portion. more exposed to impacts 25 because closer to the ground. In order to allow a good fixing of the protective device 1, the fixing peaks 7 preferably have a width greater than the spacing between two fins 26 as shown in FIG. [0004] The attachment peaks 7 are preferably made of material with the fixing device 1 so as to allow easy manufacture of the latter, for example by molding. [0005] The fixing peaks 7 may have a length less than the width of the fins 26 or a length greater than or equal to the width of the fins 26. The determination of the length of the fixing peaks 7 is a function of their number as well as the desired fixation force. The longer the fixing peaks 7, the greater the fixing force will be. [0006] The protective device 1 may further comprise elastic fastening fasteners 9 (clips) positioned between two flat tubes 22 in a portion at the periphery of the exchanger 20 without fins 26, as illustrated in FIG. 2. These fastenings by elastic casing 9 further strengthen the attachment of the protection device 1, especially in the peripheral zones of the heat exchanger 20 where the fins 26 are not present and where vibrations can be formed. Thus, it is clear that the protective device 1, because of the presence of the multitude of fixing peaks 7, is securely fixed to the heat exchanger 1 and can be easily installed without complex operations.
