[0001] TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a rope stopper comprising: a U-shaped body provided with a chute for the passage of the rope; actuation having a fastening orifice of a safety means, and a wedging cam of the rope, said lever being housed in the chute by means of a removable shaft, and a return spring biasing the cam towards the rope. According to a preferred embodiment, the cassette comprises a receiving end of the spring, and resilient fingers coaxially surrounding the end piece for clipping into the housing. The spring is formed by a torsion spring of the spiral type, mounted around the tip of the cassette. The cassette is configured to cooperate with a stop lever to ensure its maintenance in a body groove. When inserting the lever into the chute, the cassette fits into the groove of the body with only one possible mounting position. [0004] DESCRIPTION OF A PARTICULAR EMBODIMENT With reference to FIGS. 1 to 7, a blocker 10 is intended for the secure progression of a climber on a fixed rope, and for the realization of hauling or hoisting systems. [0005] The blocker 10 comprises a U-shaped metal body 11 with a central chute 12 for the passage of the rope, and an actuating lever 13 with a cam 14 for locking. The actuating lever 13 can swing about a transverse axis between a first jamming position and a second unlocking position of the string. The cam 14 extends to the inner end of the actuating lever 13 facing the bottom of the chute 12, so as to lock the rope against the bottom of the chute 12 in the first position. At the opposite end of the cam 14, the actuating lever 13 is provided with a circular orifice 20 accessible from the outside of the chute 12, for the attachment of a security means (not shown) for to be connected to the climber's harness. The security means may be a carabiner, a rope or a strap. The surface of the cam 14 contacting the rope may include a plurality of ribs or spikes to enhance the locking effect. After insertion of the rope in the chute 12, the blocker 10 allows free movement of the climber upwards, and ensures a locking effect downwards. A return spring 17 formed by way of example by a torsion spring is arranged coaxially around the axis 15 to urge the actuating lever 13 and the cam 14 by light pressure on the rope. The two parallel branches of the U-shaped body 11 comprise holes 21 aligned transversely for the passage of the axis 15 of the blocker. The shaft 15 is retained by dismountable fixing means, for example screws and nuts, pins, telescopic balls, etc. According to the invention, the spring 17 is integrated in a circular housing 10 formed in the actuating lever 13, being held in place by means of a retaining cassette 19. The housing 18 is located between the end cam 14 and the attachment hole 16, and has a diameter slightly greater than that of the torsion spring 17. The bottom of the housing 18 is equipped with an annular flange 20 on which the spring 17 bears. Any other type of spring can of course be used by adapting the configuration of the housing 18. The cassette 19 is preferably made of molded plastic, and has a through hole 22 allowing the passage of the axis 15. On one side the cassette 19 has a flat surface, and the opposite side extends a fitting 23 of the spring 17.
