专利说明:

[0001] The invention relates to make-up articles. Makeup articles are known comprising an applicator and a dispenser of makeup product for depositing such a product on the applicator. Conventionally, the dispenser comprises a reservoir of makeup product, in which the applicator is immersed, which is then loaded with product. However, this configuration in most cases causes the loading of an excessive amount of product on the applicator, so it is better to remove the surplus product to avoid waste and facilitate clean makeup said. For this purpose, it is known to provide the reservoir with a wiper whose function is to eliminate the excess product, which then falls in part into the tank. However, the presence of a wiper generally raises some problems. Indeed, the applicator is loaded product by dipping, a wiper retains the product that is on the surface of the applicator. The product which is towards the center of the applicator, ie towards the stem, is not wrung out. It is also not deposited on the eyelashes. This product dries over time. A wiper does not allow an optimized dosage of product on the applicator. A soft wiper performs an effective wringing of the applicator but it does not ensure a good guiding of it when extracted from a bottle. Thus, depending on the angle given to the applicator, there are surface areas which are more or less well wrung, that is to say that the spin is not uniform on the surface of the applicator. applicator and that it is not repetitive either. A wiper imposes geometric constraints on the applicator. An applicator has indeed a free end which is tapered to facilitate its crossing of the wiper during its introduction into the bottle. This tapered shape has no particular benefit to the makeup result. Also the wiper creates a phenomenon commonly known as swabbing. At the introduction or extraction of the applicator in or out of the bottle, the movement of the applicator creates in the bottle a depression or an overpressure that interferes with its free movement. To mitigate the effect produced by these pressure variations, it is necessary to provide a volume of free air between the product and the bottle. Thus, during filling, the bottle is not completely filled with product so as to keep a volume of air. It is therefore necessary to design a bottle that has an interior volume greater than the volume of product that is initially contained. An object of the invention is to avoid or at least reduce wastage of makeup product due to deposition of an excessive amount of product on the applicator and drying of the product exposed to air. For this purpose, there is provided according to the invention a makeup article which comprises: - an applicator whose application head defines an envelope surface, and - a makeup product dispenser, having a reception location of the applicator, and having at least one external valve provided with at least one dispensing orifice located opposite a portion of the envelope surface when the applicator is received in the location, the valve being able to have a closed position and a open position in which the valve releases product directly against the applicator head. Thus, the outer valve effectively controls the area of the applicator where the product is dispensed. It also controls the amount of product that is dispensed, and thus to ensure that the dispenser releases only the necessary amount of product against the applicator in a specific area of the applicator. In addition, after the release of the product, closing the valve protects the air, the amount of makeup product that fed the valve but was not released against the applicator. This makes it possible to prevent exposure to the air of the non-released product, and thus the formation of a dried product residue.
[0002] Advantageously, the opening and closing of the valve occur at the or of the dispensing orifices. This optimally controls the amount of product dispensed to the applicator and minimizes the amount of product that is exposed to air after dispensing.
[0003] Advantageously, the valve is arranged so that when it has the closed position, the valve is located at a distance from the applicator received in the location. Thus, because the applicator received in the location is located at a non-zero distance from the valve when it is in the closed position, the risk of deterioration of the applicator and of the valve is reduced, in particular by friction or by shock.
[0004] Advantageously, the dispenser further comprises a flexible pouch for storing the makeup product, this flexible pouch being housed in a rigid reservoir mounted movable relative to the valve. The arrangement of the flexible pouch and the reservoir in the dispenser makes it possible to simply feed the valve with makeup product.
[0005] Preferably, the dispenser further comprises a return spring adapted to bring the reservoir from a close position, in which the reservoir is close to the valve, to a remote position, in which the reservoir is remote from the valve. Part of the movement in operation of the tank is thus performed automatically, which limits the efforts that must provide a user of the makeup article. Advantageously, the dispenser further comprises a pump, without air intake, supplying the valve with makeup product. This pump makes it possible to effectively feed the valve with make-up product, avoiding the backflow of the product into the dispenser that would be generated by the use of a conventional pump. Advantageously, the dispenser further comprises an external control member of the valve, this control member being associated with a stopper for controlling the supply of the valve with makeup product. The control member allows the user of the article to easily feed the valve makeup product. The control abutment makes it possible to simply deliver the necessary and sufficient quantity of product to the valve, and therefore to the applicator. According to a first embodiment of the invention, the article further comprises a channel capable of being filled with makeup product, and the valve is formed by at least one elastic wall closing the channel, the wall having the orifice distribution, and the channel comprising at least one closure relief arranged so that it closes the orifice when the valve is in the closed position. According to a second embodiment of the invention, the article further comprises a channel capable of being filled with makeup product, and the valve is formed by at least two upper and lower elastic walls, superimposed but spaced, the wall upper end having the dispensing orifice, and the lower wall having at least one internal orifice and at least one closure relief arranged so that it closes the dispensing orifice 20 when the valve is in the closed position. In each of these embodiments, the valve is of simple design. Preferably, the wall or walls are arranged so that they deform to open the valve under the sole pressure of makeup product filling the channel. It is thus not necessary to provide an additional member for opening and closing the valve, which would generate additional cost and increased space in the dispenser. According to the invention there is also provided a process for depositing a makeup product on a makeup applicator by means of a product dispenser, in which: - makeup product is released directly against a dispensing head of 30 the applicator, by opening an external valve dispenser supplied with makeup product, and - the valve is closed. Embodiments of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a general view of a make-up article according to one embodiment of the invention; FIG. is an exploded longitudinal sectional view of the article of FIG. 1; FIGS. 3 and 4 are longitudinal sectional views of the make-up article of FIG. 1, respectively showing positions that are distant and close to 1 of the article of FIG. 1, FIGS. 5 and 6 illustrate a channel and a valve of the makeup article of FIG. 1 according to a first embodiment of the invention, FIGS. and 8 are views in section along Vil-Vil of the channel and the valve of Figure 6, in two different positions of the valve, - Figure 9 illustrates a channel and a valve of the makeup article of Figure 1 according to a second embodiment of the invention, and 10 - FIG. in section along X-X of the channel and the valve of Figure 9. It is illustrated in Figures 1 and 2 a makeup article 2 according to a first embodiment of the invention. This article 2 comprises an applicator 4 and a dispenser 6 of makeup product 8. This product 8 is for example mascara, but it can be expected that it is a whole other makeup product, such as gloss, lipstick or nail polish, or generally any cosmetic or perfumery product. The applicator 4 is here formed by a rod 10 carrying teeth or asperities 12 at one of its ends forming an application head 11, so that the applicator 4 is of the comb type. The application head 11 defines an envelope surface of the applicator 4. In general, it can be provided that the applicator 4 belongs to at least one of the following categories: injected brush, brush and brush comb. It may also be provided that the applicator 4 is of another shape, in particular a form of brush or pallet rigid or flexible. The distributor 6 comprises a housing 14 forming a housing 16, an intermediate cover 18 partially closing the housing 16, and an outer cover 20 completely closing the housing 16 and covering the intermediate cover 18. The latter has a receiving location 22 of the housing 16. applicator 4, and a communication opening 24 between the outside of the dispenser 6 and the inside of the casing 14, arranged opposite the head 11 of the applicator 4, and only of the latter, when is received in the slot 22. It will be seen later that this geometry is interesting for the operation of the article 2. The intermediate lid 18 is fixed to the housing 16 and stationary relative thereto, while the lid external 20 is rotatably mounted relative to the housing 16 about an axis of rotation 26, so that the housing can be opened and closed 14. It can however provide a completely different closure system. The dispenser 6 further comprises a flexible storage bag 30 of the makeup product 8, this flexible pouch 30 being housed in a rigid reservoir 28 located in the housing 16, with respect to which it is slidably mounted next the direction - 5 - X of orthogonal reference shown in Figure 2, this direction being the longitudinal direction of the article 2 in this case. The dispenser 6 also comprises an external valve 32 which can have a closed position in which the valve 32 is located at a distance from the applicator 4 received in the location 22, and an open position in which the valve 32 releases the product 8 directly. against the head 11 the applicator 4 received in the slot 22. It can be provided that the valve 32 in its closed position is in contact with the applicator 4. The valve 32 is stationary relative to the housing 16 and the intermediate cover 18 so that the rigid reservoir 28 is slidably movable in the X direction relative to the valve 32. The dispenser 6 also includes a product feed channel 34 of the valve 32. The valve 32 is located facing the communication opening 24 of the intermediate cover 18. The valve 32 and the channel 34 will be described in more detail. The dispenser 6 further comprises a pump 36, without air intake, supplying the valve 32 makeup product 8. The pump 36 is connected to the flexible bag 30, and is in fluid communication with the product 8 The pump is attached to the tank 28, so that it follows the movements of the tank. The pumps without air intake being known, it will not detail the operation of the pump 36 here. It is intended to convey product 8 from the pocket 30 to the channel 34, via a feed duct 37. The channel 34 is thus able to be filled with makeup product 8. It can be provided that the reservoir 28 and the pocket 30 are mounted in the housing 14 and that they are removably connected to the pump 36 so as to replace the reservoir 28 when empty by a new reservoir. The distributor 6 also comprises an external control member 38 of the valve 32, formed by a push button. This control member 38 is slidably movable in direction X relative to the housing 16 and is associated with a control stop 40 of the supply of the valve 32 made of makeup product 8. A free surface of the push button 38 is provided on an outer surface of the dispenser 6, so that the push button 38 can be actuated by a user. The push button 38 is arranged so that it drives the reservoir 28 in its movement toward the valve 32. The dispenser 6 does not include any wiper. Reference can be made to EP-2,687,119 for further details on the mechanism of the dispenser 6, which document is hereby incorporated by reference. We will now describe how the makeup product 8 is conveyed from the flexible bag 30 to the external valve 32. FIG. 3 illustrates the article 2 in a configuration such that the applicator 4 is received in the location 22 and ready to receive the product 8. The push button 38 is not yet pressed by the user, and the reservoir 28 rests against the push button 38. The reservoir 28 here occupies a remote position, in which is remote from the external valve 32. With reference to FIG. 4, it is assumed that a user pushes the push button 38 towards the valve 32, that is to say to the right, by considering the orientation of the figures 3 and 4. The push button 38 causes in its movement the reservoir 28 and the flexible bag 30 to the pump 36. The reservoir 28 thus approaches the valve 32, and when the pusher 38 encounters the control stop 40, the tank 28 occupies a position close to the valve 32. When the tank 28 moves between the remote and near positions, a predetermined dose of product 8 is extracted from the flexible bag 30 by the pump 36 to fill the channel 34 by means of the duct 37 and thus feed the valve 32. product 8 contained in the predetermined dose is a function of the position of the control stop 40, because it determines the travel of the push button 38, and therefore also that of the reservoir 28, in the housing 14. It is thus possible to adjust the shape or the length of the abutment 40 during the design of the dispenser 6 in order to adjust the amount of product 8 contained in the predetermined dose.
[0006] Once the push button 38 comes into contact with the stop 40, the dose of product 8 is extracted from the flexible bag 30 to supply the valve 32. At this moment, the user can release the push button 38. A return spring ( not illustrated in the figures) located in the housing 14 then pushes the reservoir 28 in the direction opposite to the valve 32, and carries with it the push button 38. The reservoir 28 thus automatically moves from its near position to its remote position, and the distributor 6 resumes the configuration illustrated in FIG. 3. In other words, the distributor 6 comprises a return spring adapted to bring the reservoir 28 from the near position, in which the reservoir 28 is close to the valve 32, to the remote position, in which the reservoir 28 is remote from the valve 32. The amount of dispensed product is controlled by the stop 40, but it is possible to distribute a smaller amount by ceasing to push the button 38 before it reaches the stop 40. Also it is possible to increase the dispensed quantity by releasing the thrust on the button 38 and then renewing a support. The valve 32 is thus able to be fed with makeup product 8.
[0007] We will now describe how the makeup product 8 is released directly against the applicator 4. In the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 5 to 8, the valve 32 is formed by a wall or an elastic flat membrane 42 that closes. the channel 34, the wall 42 having at least one dispensing orifice 44. The or the dispensing orifices 44 are provided for locally dispensing the product 8 against the envelope surface of the applicator 4. The wall 42 here has several dispensing orifices 44 of circular outline and distributed in staggered rows. The channel 34 has a shoulder 46 which makes it possible to fix the periphery of the wall 42 to the channel 34. The channel 34 also comprises at least one shut-off relief 48, formed under the wall 42, arranged so that it closes the orifices 44 when the valve 32 is in the closed position. The trough 34 here has as many reliefs of fillings 48 as the wall 42 has orifices 44. The dispensing orifices 44 are located facing a portion of the envelope surface when the applicator 4 is received in the location 22. Specifically, the dispensing orifices 44 are placed facing the teeth or asperities 12 against which it is desired to release the product 8. When the distributor 6 is not used, that is to say when the push button 38 is not depressed, the valve 32 is closed and is located at a non-zero distance from the set of the applicator 4 received in the slot 22. The valve 32 in the closed position is shown in FIG. 7. In this position, the closure reliefs 48 close the orifices 44. No dose of product 8 can therefore come out. Thus, preferably, the opening and closing of the valve 32 occur at the dispensing orifices 44. This arrangement optimally controls the amount of product 8 that is dispensed on the applicator 4 and reduce the the amount of product 8 which, after dispensing, is exposed to the air at the outer surface of the valve 32. Other valve constructions may nevertheless be suitable. The valve is adapted to the nature and rheology of the product 8. With a distribution of this type, it is possible to dispense liquid products and pasty products.
[0008] At the first use of the distributor 6, the channel 34 is empty of product 8 and filled with air. When the push button 38 is depressed, the channel 34 fills with makeup product 8 by means of the pump 36 and the supply duct 37, and the air contained in the channel 34 is released by the valve 32. In particular , the valve 32 releases at the moment no product 8. It is necessary to perform one or more cycles of depression and release of the push button 38 to evacuate all the air contained in the channel 34 and the replace with product 8. The product 8 accumulates in the channel 34 closed. Given that the valve 32 is in the closed position at rest, these operations can be performed in the factory. Once the channel 34 is filled with product 8 and the user pushes the pushbutton 38 again, since the valve 32 is closed by the wall 42, an increase in the pressure of the product 8 is generated. the only pressure of the makeup product 8 filling the channel 34, the wall 42 is deformed to open the valve 32. Indeed, the lifting of the wall 42 allows it to move away from the closure reliefs 48 of the 34. When the orifices 44 are disengaged, the valve 32 releases the product 8 directly against the applicator 4 received in the slot 22. More precisely, the valve releases as many drops of product as the wall 42 has orifices 44. The valve 32 thus opens due to the elastic deformation of the wall 42, under the sole pressure of the product 8. Depending on the viscosity, the surface tension and the hydrophilic / hydrophobic or oleophilic / oleophobic nature of the makeup product 8 , drops of lib product Rees by the valve 32 take the form of a ball or spread on an outer surface of the wall 42.
[0009] The valve 32 allows local delivery of the product in one or more specific areas of the applicator. Thus, it is possible to choose to deliver product 8 in certain zones and not to deliver product to other zones. The product-laden areas will then be more suitable for depositing the product on the eyelashes, and the uncharged areas to extend the product 8 on the eyelashes and to separate the eyelashes. Preferably, the valve 32 makes it possible to release makeup product 8 only at the free ends of the teeth or asperities 12 of the applicator 4, that is to say the parts of the applicator 4 intended to apply the product 8 on the user. In other words, the product 8 is deposited locally by the valve 32 at the envelope surface formed by the end of the teeth or asperities 12 of the applicator 4, or more generally by the surface in which is the applicator head 11 of the applicator 4. Specifically, the rod 10 is not unnecessarily loaded product, which reduces the waste of the product 8 and avoid clogging in this area. Once the push button 38 encounters the control stop 40, the valve 32 ceases to be supplied with product 8, the pressure of the product 8 in the channel 34 then drops, and the valve 32 closes. The invention thus implements a process for depositing the makeup product 8 on the makeup applicator 4 by means of the product dispenser 6, in which: - makeup product 8 is released directly against the application head 11 the applicator 4, received in a receiving location 22 of the applicator 4 provided on the dispenser 6, by opening the external valve 32 of the dispenser 6 supplied with make-up product 8, and the valve 32 is closed. second embodiment of the invention, illustrated in FIGS. 9 and 10, differs from that presented above in that the valve 32 is formed by two upper 35 and 52 lower and upper elastic walls 54, superposed but spaced apart, the upper wall 52 having at least one dispensing orifice 56, and the bottom wall 54 having at least one internal orifice 58 and at least one closure relief 60 arranged so that it closes the dispensing orifice 56 when the valve e 32 occupies the closed position. The dispensing orifices 56 are central and elongated. The internal orifices 58 are circular in outline and arranged in staggered rows. A space is formed between the two walls for the communication of their orifices 56, 58 when the valve 32 is open. In other words, when the valve 32 is opened, the product moves successively from the channel 34 to the space through the internal orifice (s) 58, then from the space outside the distributor 6 through the or the dispensing orifices 56. Only the upper wall 52 is deformable for the opening of the valve 32. It can be provided that the bottom wall 54 is rigid.
[0010] The opening and closing of the valve 32 are in the same manner as that of the first embodiment, that is to say under the sole effect of the pressure of the makeup product 8 filling the channel 34. Of course Many modifications can be made to the invention without departing from the scope thereof.
[0011] It may be provided that the applicator is a curved comb, such as that described in WO2009032443. The teeth or asperities of the applicator may all be of equal length or some of them may be longer than the others. The orifices may be arranged in a completely different configuration in the wall or walls, in particular depending on the structure of the applicator. If the applicator forms a brush, it may include bristles and / or teeth.
