专利说明:
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of devices for suspending a load on a rope, which can constitute a self-locking descender. In the current state of the art, there are two types of interlocking descenders, those adapted to be installed on tensioned ropes, that is to say on ropes which are stretched between an upper point of anchorage and a lower anchorage point, and those that are adapted to be installed on so-called "soft" ropes, that is to say on ropes that are hung only at an upper anchorage point. [0002] The object of the present invention is to propose an apparatus for suspending a load that can constitute a self-locking descender, which can be installed both on a tensioned rope and on a soft rope. According to one embodiment, there is provided an apparatus for suspending a load on a suspension rope, which comprises a body provided with a means for catching the load and provided with a fixed member and an organ rocker arm, between which the rope passes and able to immobilize the body along the rope during a tilting of said body in one direction under the effect of the load. [0003] Said body is further provided with a fixed stop and a pivoting release lever adapted to act on the pivoting rocker member to pivot the latter to said stop and to tilt said body in the opposite direction when the tumbler member bears against said stop. [0004] The tumbler member may have a gripping portion located opposite a gripping portion of the fixed member and a bearing portion away from its gripping portion so that an intermediate portion of the yarn extends through a passage gap separating said nip portions and in front of said bearing portion. Said hooking means of the load can be located on the side of the fixed member relative to the rope and the side of the support portion of the rocker member relative to said passage interval. Thus, under the effect of the suspended load, said intermediate portion of the rope can be deflected with respect to a tensioned strand of the rope and can act on said support portion of the tumbler member in the direction which tends to bring the parts closer together. pinch, so as to produce a local nipping effect of the suspension rope between these nip portions. Said abutment for the tumbler member may limit to a maximum spacing the interval of passage between said nip portions. [0005] Said unlocking lever may be able to act on the tumbler member in the direction away from said nip portions when said unlocking lever is pivoted relative to the body in the opposite direction to the pivoting direction of the rocker member. Said unlocking lever may be able to induce tilting of the body in the direction of reducing the deflection of the intermediate portion of the suspension rope with respect to said stretched strand when the rocker member bears against said abutment under the effect said unlocking lever. Said rocker member may comprise opposing arms having said nip portion and said bearing portion. Said unlocking lever may have an end engaged in a recess of the end of the arm of the rocker member having said nip portion. Said body may comprise flanges having corresponding hooking portions of the load. An apparatus for suspending a load on a suspension rope will now be described by way of nonlimiting example, illustrated by the appended drawing in which: - Figure 1 shows a partial side view of the suspension apparatus in position in place, a pivoting flange being removed; FIG. 2 represents a partial side view of the suspension apparatus in the position of installation, the pivoting flange being in the open position; FIG. 3 is a side view of the suspension apparatus in the position of setting; in place, the pivoting flange being in the closed position; - Figure 4 shows a partial side view of the suspension apparatus in the locked position and immobilization; - Figure 5 shows a partial side view of the suspension apparatus in a first partial unlocking position; and - Figure 6 shows a partial side view of the suspension apparatus in a second partial unlocking position. As illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, a suspension device 1 of a load on a rope 2, for example a rope, comprises a body 3 which comprises a bearing flange 4 and a pivoting flange 5 which extend parallel. Between these, the flange 4 is provided with a fixed member 6 and a rocker arm member 7 mounted pivotally about an axis 8 perpendicular to the flange 4, so that the rocker member 7 can pivot parallel to the flanges 4 and 5, and which has, on either side of this axis 8, opposite arms 7a and 7b. The fixed member 6 and the arm 7a of the rocker member 7 have, on their end side, gripping portions 9 and 10 situated opposite one another so as to determine between them 11. The arm 7b of the rocker member 7 has, at its end side, a bearing portion 12 remote from its gripping portion 10 and situated at a distance from the passage gap 11. [0006] The flange 5 is pivotally mounted, relative to the flange 4, on the axis 8, between an open position (Figure 2) in which a portion of the rope 2 can be placed laterally and extend parallel to the flanges 4 and 5, between the fixed member 6 and the rocker member 7 and a closed or operating position (Figure 3) in which it covers the rope 2. In this closed or operating position, the flange 5 comes abut against a fixing element 6a of the fixed member 6 on the flange 4. [0007] The flanges 4 and 5 have corresponding contours such that, in said closed or operating position, they are superimposed. When the rope 2, arranged in a rectilinear manner, is put in place, it passes through the passage gap 11, between the nip portions of 10, and in front of the bearing portion 12. A zone 13 of the rocker member 7 joining the nip portion 10 and the bearing portion 12 along the rope 2. In this positioning position, the suspension device 1 can be moved freely along the rope 2. [0008] The body 3 is provided with an unlocking lever 14 which comprises a part 15 which is engaged between the flanges 4 and 5 and a part 16 which extends widely outside the space between the flanges 4 and 5 of the flanges. to form a maneuvering arm. The portion 15 of the release lever 14 is mounted on the flange 4 by means of an axis 17 perpendicular to the latter so that the release lever 14 can pivot parallel to the flanges 4 and 5. The axis 17 is disposed so that the portion 15 of the release lever 14 extends towards the end of the arm 7a of the rocker member 7 and that the end of this portion 15 is engaged in a recess 18 arranged at the end of the arm 7a , close to the nip portion 10, so as to cooperate so that the tilting member 7 and the release lever 14 pivot in the opposite direction. [0009] In said setting position, the release lever 14 extends approximately parallel to the rope 2. The body 3 further has a load hooking means which comprise hooking passages 19 and 20 which are arranged in the flanges 4 and 5 and which face each other when the flanges 4 and 5 are in said closed or operating position. In said positioning and closing positions (FIGS. 1 and 3), the passages 19 and 20 are arranged on the same side as the fixed member 6 with respect to the rope 2 and are situated on the side of the bearing portion 12 relative to the passage gap 11, being further away from this passage gap 11 than the bearing portion 12, for example two times further. The aforementioned hooking means further comprise a carabiner 21 passing through the attachment passages 19 and 20, on which the load can be hooked for example by means of an intermediate rope. The body 3 is furthermore provided with a fixed abutment 22 which is fixed on the flange 4 and against which the arm 7a of the rocker member 7 can come into abutment so as to limit the interval of passage 11 to a maximum distance. between the nip portions 9 and 10. Furthermore, the fixed member 6 has a support groove 23 arranged in the region of its nip portion 9 and the rocker member 7 has a support groove 24 arranged in the zone of its nip portion 10, its median zone 13 and its bearing portion 12. These grooves 23 and 24 are adapted to receive laterally the rope 2, to a small thickness. We will now describe how the suspension device 1 works. [0010] In an original situation illustrated in Figures 1 and 3, the suspension device 1 is set up on a rope 2, an upper end is attached to an anchor point A and a load P, for example a user is hooked to the carabiner 21 without soliciting the suspension device. [0011] Assuming that the rope 2 extends vertically, then the nip portions 9 and 10 are offset horizontally, arms 7a and 7b of the rocker lever 7 extend respectively downward and upwardly relative to the axis 8 , the passages 19 and 20 are above and away from the fixed member 6 and are higher than the support portion 12 of the rocker arm lever 7 and the operating arm 16 of the unlocking lever 14 extends towards the low. The load P passing to the suspended state to the suspension apparatus 1, the suspension apparatus 1 reaches a locked position at one point along the rope 2, illustrated in FIG. 4. This locked position is reached in the manner next. Under the effect of the load P, the suspension device 1 tilts vertically in the direction that removes the attachment passages 19 and 20 through which the carabiner 21 relative to the rope 2, being retained in the following manner. The rope 2 has a tensioned upper strand 25 which extends between the anchorage point A and the support portion 12 of the tumbler member 7. The intermediate portion 26 of the rope 2, which extends between the part of the support 12 of the tumbler member 7 and the passage gap 11 is tensioned and is deviated from the direction of the stretched strand 25. The induced deviation between the stretched strand 25 and the tensioned deflected portion 26 of the strand 2, resulting the tilting of the suspension device 1, causes a force on the support portion 12 of the rocker member 7 which tends to move this support portion 12 away from the nip portion 9 of the fixed member 6 and which tends to rotate the rocker member 7 in the direction that approximates the nip portions 9 and 10. This pivoting causes a local nipping effect of the rope 2 in the passage gap 11, between the nip portions 9 and 10 of the fixed member 6 and the tumbler member 7. This pinching causes immobilization of the apparatus 1 in the rope 2. In this locking and immobilizing position, the hooking passages 19 and 20 and the passage gap 11 between the nip portions 9 and 10 are located, in a horizontal direction, of either side of the support portion 12 of the tumbler member 7 on which the rope 2 is deflected between the tensioned strand 25 and the tensioned middle portion 26. The rocker member 7 having pivoted, the unlocking lever 14 rotated in the opposite direction. [0012] If now a user exerts a force on the portion 16 forming an operating arm of the release lever 14, so as to rotate the latter relative to the body 3 in the opposite direction to that corresponding to the aforementioned tilting of the suspension device 1, the end of the portion 15 of the release lever 14 acts on a wall of the recess 18 of the arm 7a of the rocker member 7 and rotates the latter, against the force exerted by the rope 2 on the support part 12, in the direction that moves the nip part 10 away from the rocker member 7 relative to the nip portion 9 of the stationary member 6, thereby causing an increase in the distance between the parts pinch 9 and 10 and accordingly a reduction of the pinching effect of the rope 2 in the passage interval 11 and partial unlocking. The pinch effect being reduced, the suspension device 1 slides down the rope 2 under the effect of the suspended load P and thus constitutes a descending device. By controlling the force that it exerts on the release lever 14 and thus its pivoting, the user can adapt the aforementioned pinching effect so as to control the speed of the descent. As soon as the user releases the release lever 14, the locking and immobilizing effect of the suspension apparatus 1 along the rope 2, described above, occurs. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the partial unblocking of the suspension apparatus 1 can be obtained when the rocker member 7, biased by the release lever 14, is still at a distance from the abutment 22. As illustrated in FIG. 6, the partial unblocking of the suspension apparatus 1 can be obtained when the rocker member 7, biased by the release lever 14, reaches the stop 22 and becomes integral, in one direction, with the body 3 and that the user continues its action on the release lever 14 so as to tilt the body 3 relative to the rope 2 in the opposite direction to that having reached its locking position and immobilization with respect to its original position above , thus reducing the deflection of the stretched middle portion 26 with respect to the upper tensioned strand 25. Thus, the suspension apparatus 1 has two unlocking capacities under the effect of the unlocking lever 14. One of these capabilities As a result of this, unlocking can be obtained when the tumbler member 7 is pivoted relative to the body 3 between its pinch position of the rope 2 and the stopper 22. The other capacity results from the fact that the unlocking can be obtained when the rocker member 7 is brought first against the abutment 22 and then the body 3 is tilted due to this support. The dimensioning and arrangement of the various parts constituting the suspension apparatus 1, in connection with the physical characteristics of the rope 2, are adapted so that the effects described above are achieved. It follows from the above that the suspension apparatus 1 can be used both on a so-called "soft" rope 2, that is to say on a rope having a free lower strand 27 extending below the suspension device 1, only on a rope 2 said "stretched", that is to say on a rope having a stretched lower strand 27 whose lower end is hooked to a lower anchor point. The present invention is not limited to the example described above. Alternative embodiments are possible without departing from the scope of the invention.
