专利说明:

The present invention relates to an arrangement for collecting plastic waste from an area of water, particularly the sea.
The pollution of the seas from plastic waste is an internationally recognized environmental problem, which is worsening with millions of tonnes of new plastic waste every year. The waste accumulates in huge, several meters thick ferries. The plastic waste decomposes under the influence of waves and UV radiation into a finer material, which mixes e.g. plank10 ton and moves down the food chain all the way to human food.
Various ways of removing waste from the seas have been developed to solve this problem, but the problem still requires new effective solutions.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a solution for efficient collection of plastic waste.
To achieve this object, the solution of the invention is characterized in that the arrangement comprises a vessel having a collection space for receiving waste water 20, suction means for introducing a waste water mass into the collection space, compressed air means raising the waste on the surface of the water in the collection space; and means for further transferring the waste mass on the surface of the water for further treatment.
The invention will now be further described with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Figure 1 is a schematic side elevational view of an arrangement of the invention in the stern of a container ship, and Figure 2 is a top plan view of a sign of your suction line arrangement.

Figure 1 shows an exemplary arrangement of the invention in the stern of a container ship. Reference numeral 1 designates the hull of the ship. A collecting space 3 is provided in the stern 2 above the other hull of the ship, where the water mass containing the plastic waste collected from the water area is collected by means of the collecting device 5 arranged in the stern. The collection apparatus includes a telescopically extending suction tube 5 having an inner tube 5 'having an orifice 6 arranged to extend to a depth of several meters, e.g., up to 10 meters from the water surface, in the retracted state of the inner tube. The suction pipe 5 is integrated with a retractable water barrier wall 4 arranged vertically movable by means of a winch 9 to lower the suction pipe 5 to a working position where the suction manifold outlet outlet 22 is at a height of about 5 m from the bottom The suction tube inner tube 5 'is preferably arranged to be moved about five meters from the lower edge of the lifting wall, thereby extending to a depth of about ten meters. Each suction tube is provided with its own lifting wall 4. The inner tube 5 '15 of the suction tube 5 is connected to a hydraulic cylinder (not shown) to extend the inner tube 5' out of the suction tube and retract it into the suction tube. Preferably, the suction tube has a diameter of between 800 mm and 1000 mm. Several suction pipes are arranged side by side in the breadth of the ship. Figure 2 is a schematic illustration of seven suction pipes in lifting walls 4.
The arrangement further comprises a high-power compressor 7 which can produce, for example, compressed air at a pressure of 35 bar at about 600 m 3 / min, which is fed to a pressure vessel (not shown), from where it is distributed to the suction pipes. Preferably, there are a plurality of compressors side by side in the width direction of the ship. There may also be several pressure vessels. Compressed air is led from 25 pressure tanks to a pressure pipe 8 which is connected at its lower end near the mouth 6 of the inner pipe 5 'of the suction pipe 5 and is directed to upwardly Preferably, 8 has a portion of rigid material attached to the suction tube 5 'and a flexible hose material at its upper portion 30 which may, for example, be wound onto the coil 18 to allow the pressure tube to be moved with the inner tube 5' and / or lifting wall 4. Preferably, the flexible hose is connected to the hollow shaft of the coil 18, which is connected to the pressure reservoir by a hose or tube connected to the end of the coil shaft by a coil allowing rotation. Advantageously, baffles 19 are arranged at the top of the collecting space 3 to prevent it
20175896 prh 12-10-2017 Water splash from outlet 22. At the bottom of the collecting space 3 is arranged a routed plate 10, which is provided with nozzle means (not shown) through which compressed air 11 is supplied to form air bubbles which raise the plastic waste to the surface of the water in the collecting space 3. Compressed air is produced, for example, by means of an 8-10 bar compressor (not shown) into a pressure vessel, from which the compressed air is supplied to the nozzles through the necessary piping (not shown). The surface waste layer 12 is transferred by a transfer wheel 13 over the bulkhead 23 to the transfer conveyor 14 which discharges the waste into a compartment 28 where the press wall 24 seals the waste 15 by a hydraulic cylinder 27 against a retractable bulkhead 25. The compacted waste Waste bales can be moved from the storage room, e.g.
on the deck of the ship to increase the overall load. The waste bales can be shipped on board or transferred to a separate carrier. The collected plastic waste can be utilized, for example, in the manufacture of fuel.
Below the collection space 3, dewatering chambers 26 are provided, through which water passes through a perforated plate 10. The drainage chambers are provided with drainage openings (not shown) through which water can flow out of the chambers back into the water of the water to be purified.
A light source (not shown), e.g. an LED lamp, and a camera (not shown) are preferably arranged in the vicinity of the inlet 6 of the suction tube to provide a suitable working depth. The LED lamp and camera can be placed in one or more suction tubes.
When collecting plastic waste on a vessel according to the invention, one or more lifting walls are lowered preferably to a depth of about five meters from the water surface, after which the suction pipe can be moved about another five meters down Figure 1 is a broken line showing the lifting wall 4 and the suction pipe
5 'lowered to its lowest position. The camera and LED light can be used to find a suitable working depth between 0 and 10 m from the water surface by lowering or raising the lifting wall and / or inner tube. Different suction pipes can have different working depths.
