专利摘要:
The invention prioritizes and describes the process of obtaining lightened mortars reinforced by the addition of vegetable fibers from bamboo cane (Guadua Angustifolia Kunth) in a percentage of up to 10%. The versatility of this new material allows its use as a masonry mortar, as a filler or as a product for obtaining prefabricated elements. First, the flexural strength is determined. The press rollers and the faces of the specimens that will be in contact with the rollers must be cleaned to remove any impurities or material that may be attached. Then the test specimen is placed as centered as possible. When the press is operated, the central roller applies a load on the specimen until it breaks. The load is applied without sudden accelerations, at a speed between 10N / s and 50N / s, so that the break occurs between 30 s and 90 s.
For each of the tested specimens, the value of the breaking load is obtained, that is, the maximum load that the specimen has been able to withstand before breaking and with that value the flexural strength is determined.
After the flexotraction test has been completed, the press accessory must be changed to perform the compression test. As in the previous case, the surface of the specimens and the support surfaces must be cleaned of impurities. In the flexural test, each test piece is broken into two parts, each of which must be tested under compression. Each piece should be placed as centered as possible on the multi-test press, avoiding that the face that has been manually flush is in contact with the support plates to ensure that the load is distributed evenly throughout the surface.
In the compression test, the load is applied without acceleration and is progressively increased at a rate ranging from 50 N / s to 500 N / s so that the break occurs between 30 s and 90 s. With the breaking loads we obtain the compressive strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The following exemplary embodiments are not intended to be limiting of the proposed invention, and refer to new formulations for lightened mortars that jointly comprise vegetable fibers of guadua cane in different proportions, sand, cement and water. The results with the physical and mechanical characteristics of all the examples are specified in Table 1.
Embodiment Example No. 1
7
The mortar kneading mix includes a 1/3 cement / aggregate ratio (taking into account that the aggregate encompasses all types of sand that are added to the kneading), with 500 g of cement, 1500 g of natural sand, 75 g of Guadua cane vegetable fibers (5%
5 with respect to the total sand), and an a / c ratio of 0.80.
Embodiment Example No. 2
The proportions of the mortar contain a ratio of 1/3 cement / sand, with 500 g of cement, 1500 g of natural sand, 120 g of vegetable fibers of guadua cane 8% 10 with respect to the total sand), and an a / c ratio of 0.9.
Embodiment Example No. 3
The composition of the mortar consists of a 1/3 cement / sand ratio, with 500 g of cement, 1500 g of natural sand, 150 g of guadua cane vegetable fibers (10% 15 with respect to total sand), and a ratio of / c of 1.0.

Among the applications of the structural mortar object of the invention are:
1. By adding vegetable fibers from guadua cane in the manufacture of a mortar, the density of the composite material is reduced while achieving an increase in toughness and good mechanical properties, resulting in lightened materials with good relations resistance - weight, which
