专利摘要:
The protective shield of fingers, is a barrier of protection constituted by layers, whose materials prevent punctures and cuts of needles and scalpels in areas of the fingers (mainly index and thumb), as they are exposed in some activities such as insertion and withdrawal of needle in the reservoir. The impermeability of the outer layer prevents the absorption of fluids. The protective shield is attached to the finger by a ribbon or others and by a kind of concave hood. When sterilized, it can be used when a sterile work field is required. Therefore, the protective shield of fingers is a system of prevention of biological risk by avoiding punctures and cuts in the fingers, prevents infectious diseases such as hepatitis or HIV, and the psychological impact suffered by the injured professional. ANTIPINCHAZOS AND ANTlCORTES FINGER PROTECTIVE SHIELD SECTOR OF THE TECHNIQUE
The present invention belongs to the health sector, and more specifically to the nursing sector.
The main object of the present invention is a finger protection system that improves the instrumental conditions under which the work is performed. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In health services and especially in nursing, there are techniques in which the index and thumb fingers are exposed to short sharp material (scalpel, needles), without effective protection; only latex gloves, vinyl, nitrile, which are easily pierced by the material that works with the danger of accident and infection of infectious diseases, such as hepatitis or HIV fundamentally, and the personal psychological impact that the accident entails. EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
The protective shield of fingers prevents accidents and contagion of biological risk, covering areas of the finger that, without this protection, would be exposed and therefore vulnerable to punctures and cuts.
The protective shield has a concave semi-oiled configuration, to adapt to the curvature of the finger side from the middle to the distal end of the finger, covering the area exposed to the object. The widest end is the proximal end (with respect to the finger), and the rounded shape corresponds to the distal end, where a kind of concave visor hood comes from.
This structure comprises a hard, flexible and puncture and cut resistant inner layer (mainly made of steel or graphene).
It comprises a middle layer that can be made of silicone gel or sponge, although it also admits another material, so that, if the impact occurs with a needle or scalpel, it dampens it and prevents sliding on the inner layer so that it does not reach to protected area of the finger.
And an external layer that is impervious to fluids, made of polyurethane film, nitrile, anti-allergic vinyl or latex, to protect possible exposure to fluids (blood, exudates).
This structure comprises in the distal part a flexible concave hood, formed by the continuation of the middle and outer layer, which serves as support and support to the distal end of the finger. In the inner part an adhesive is placed for a better support in the finger.
At the proximal end of the protective shield an elastic band or tape with polyethylene adhesive or another element is placed, which will go from one side to the other by the concave part to hold on the finger.
The edges of this structure are covered by the middle and outer layer to protect the patient's skin from contact with the hard material of the inner layer.
All layers should be made of materials that can be sterilized when necessary.
The protective shield of the thumb should be wider than that of the index.
Due to the symmetrical termination of the sides, it can be placed indistinctly on the right or left hand fingers.
The invention can be carried out in different sizes: Small, medium and large size. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, it is accompanied by figures representing the following:
Figure 1 shows a front view of the finger shield.
Figure 2 shows the concavity of the protective shield of the finger at its proximal end, and the hood at its distal end, as well as the fastening tape.
Figure 3 shows a longitudinal section of the invention with the layers that form it.
Figure 4 shows a palmar view of the thumb of the left hand where the protective shield covers the exposed lateral area, leaving the grip area free.
Figure 5 shows a palmar view of the index finger of the left hand where the protective shield covers the exposed lateral area, leaving the grip area free.
Figure 6 shows a top view in which the back of the protective shield is seen covering the side of the index and thumb fingers, and the proximity of the fingers to the puncture site is also observed.
Figure 7 shows the protective shield covering the fingers from a lateral point of view and a general scheme of the operation of the invention in needle withdrawal from the reservoir. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
In view of the aforementioned figures, and according to the numbering adopted, it can be seen in figure 1 and in figure 2 the protective finger shield object of the invention in its preferred embodiment, comprising a concave semi-oval structure constituted according to Figure 3 by an inner layer (3.1) of a material that will be steel or graphene among others; a middle layer (3.2) of silicone gel or sponge or others having the characteristic of cushioning and preventing needle or scalpel slippage; and an outer layer (3.3) fluid impermeable that can be polyurethane, vinyl, nitrile, latex film, among others. The edges of this structure are covered (3.4) by the middle and outer layers.
The thickness of the three layers should not hinder the performance of the technique and will be comfortable to use by the professional.
Figure 2.1 shows the concave hood for support and support for the finger.
Figure 2.2 shows the tape fastening to the finger of the protective shield.
When a performance is performed in which the invention is used, gloves are first placed, and on top of the protective shield as shown in Figures 4 and 5 on the lateral and middle distal part of the index and thumb fingers, covering the remaining area exposed to sharp sharp objects (scalpel, needles). In this way the fingers are protected from possible
5 accidents and the grip area still has the same holding capacity.
Figure 6 and Figure 7 show a concrete example of the application of the invention in an increasingly frequent technique of insertion or withdrawal of needles in the reservoirs that patients have placed, in which the index and thumb fingers must hold the reservoir
10 small in size, the fingers being very close to the needle. Being protected, no accidents occur.
Other techniques in which the invention can be effective are subcutaneous injections, drainage of bruises, phytaten or the incision of abscesses and cysts. In all of them, the fingers
15 index and thumb hold the area being very close to needles or scalpels.

Claims (4)
[1]
5 1. Protective shield of anti-puncture and anti-cut fingers formed by a body determined by a semi-oiled surface, which defines a concavity with a concave hood-shaped support on the distal part for support and support of the finger, and a tape on the proximal part for finger support.
10 2. Protective shield of puncture and anti-cut fingers according to claim 1, characterized by a protective element consisting of an internal layer resistant to punctures and cuts.
[3]
3. Finger shield according to claim 1, characterized by a middle layer
15 whose main feature is to dampen the impact and avoid sliding on the inner layer so that it does not reach the unprotected area of the finger.
[4]
4. Protective finger shield according to claim 1, characterized by a fluid impermeable outer layer, for possible exposure to them (blood, exudates).
[5]
5. Protective finger shield according to claims 1, 2, 3, 4, characterized in that the materials that form it can be sterilized when necessary.
