In certain embodiments the embellishing plate (see Figure 4) consists of a metal alloy of a precious metal, combinations of thermoplastic or thermosetting polymers, or of glass (borosilicate or synthetic crystals). In particular embodiments, the device uses the embellishing plate as a container part for fragrant compounds and has a perfume release mechanism (see Figure 5 and Figure 6) or fragrant compound that is released to the outside environment. The sustained release of the aromatic compound achieves a persistence of multiple hours or even days, being able to provide the user and its surroundings with a constant fragrant or aromatic level for a prolonged period of time.
