DESCRIPTION
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The purpose of this application is to register a system for detecting the position of a manual gearbox.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The arrangement of manual gearbox position sensors is well known today. These sensors are provided from the design of the gearbox and are integrated as part of it. For this, various known technologies can be used, one of them being the use of positioning sensors based on a potentiometer that allows to know the position of an actuator linked to the gearbox and deduce the position taken by the lever of the gearbox. speeds, that is, to know the gear or speed that is at a certain moment chosen. Another technology increasingly used in this field is that based on Hall or inductive sensors or sensors that detect the gear position of the gearbox through the use of one or more magnets.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention has been developed in order to provide a detection system that is configured as a novelty within the field of application and resolves the aforementioned drawbacks, also providing other additional advantages that will be apparent from the description to be described. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a system for detecting the position of a manual gearbox of a vehicle that is more reliable and with a greater degree of safety comprising magnetic means linked to an associated drive shaft. with the gearbox, in which the magnetic means generate a magnetic field that is detected by magneto-sensitive detecting means, such that depending on the magnetic field detected by the detecting means an electric signal is sent to a unit of vehicle control to indicate at least the neutral position and reverse gear of the gearbox.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
In view of the aforementioned figures and, according to the numbering adopted, an example of a preferred embodiment of the invention can be observed therein, which comprises the parts and elements indicated and described in detail below.
As can be seen in Figure 1, an embodiment of the position detection system of a manual gearbox of a vehicle of the invention comprises magnetic means that are linked to a drive shaft (1) that performs a movement of translation / rotating and translation associated with the lever (2) of the gearbox. These magnetic means generate a magnitude of the magnetic field that is detected by magneto-sensitive detecting means, so that depending on the magnetic field detected by the detecting means an electric signal is sent to a vehicle control unit to indicate at least the neutral and gear position behind the gearbox, based on the decomposition of the magnitude of the magnetic field into two orthogonal vector components.

The two probes (3) capture the magnetic field generated by the presence of the magnetic means in two orthogonal vector components, so that each of the probes generates a corresponding electrical signal to the control unit (7) (or switchboard ) to determine a gear position of the manual gearbox.
With particular reference now to the magnetic means, they comprise two magnets (8, 9) spaced apart from each other stationary in the drive shaft, one of the magnets (8) being linked to the neutral position while the other magnet ( 9) is linked to the gear position behind the gearbox.
The magnet (9) that is associated with the reverse gear has a generally cylindrical shape while the other magnet (8) that is associated with the neutral of the gearbox has a semicircular shape.
In Figures 4 and 5, an alternative embodiment of the invention is shown, where the same elements have the same numerical references. In this case, the magnetic means comprise a single magnet (10) with an arcuate geometry, for example, in the form of a "tile", which allows detecting the different gears that are responsible for emitting the two electrical signals depending on the magnitude value of the magnetic field (in this case, the orientation or position) detected by the probe (3), each of them being associated with the magnetic magnitude broken down into two orthogonal vector components.

Position detection system of a gearbox of a vehicle comprising magnetic means linked to a drive shaft (1) with translation / rotating movement associated with the gearbox, in which the magnetic means generate a magnetic field that is detected by magneto-sensitive detecting means, such that depending on the magnetic field detected by the detecting means an electric signal is sent to a control unit (7) of the vehicle to indicate at least the position of neutral and reverse gear of the gearbox, characterized by the fact that the magneto-sensitive detector means are comprised of at least one probe (3) that captures the magnitude of the magnetic field generated by the presence of the magnetic means in two orthogonal vector components to each other, such that the probe generates at least two electrical signals, one of the signals being redundant, towards the control unit (7) even to determine a gear position of the gearbox.

System for detecting the position of a gearbox according to claim 1, characterized in that the magnetic means comprise two magnets spaced apart from each other stationary in the drive shaft, one of the magnets being connected with the neutral position while the other magnet is linked to the reverse position of the gearbox.
