Portable ultrasound device for guiding transcutaneous punctures, comprising a housing (8); a main screen (4), an ultrasound transducer (1) oriented with its ultrasound beam (9) parallel to the main screen (4); an image processing unit (2) showing the signal of the ultrasound transducer (1) in the main screen (4); means for scaling selection of the ultrasound image shown on the main screen (4); a width reference system (12) located in the lower front part of the casing (8) that includes vertical reference lines (15); and a scale adjustment zone (5) located above the width reference system (12) and where the image processing unit (2) shows scale adaptation lines (16) with a variable slope depending on the selected scale.
