DESCRIPTION
Device and procedure for reducing emissions of polluting gases
The present invention relates to a device and a method for reducing pollutant gas emissions, which uses ferric oxide (hematite) to treat hydrocarbons before combustion-explosion, so that at the time of combustion-explosion with the Fuel already treated, emissions of pollutants resulting from combustion are reduced.
Background of the invention
In the market there are treatments or devices to trap NOX molecules and reduce CO, placing them in the exhaust ducts by passing the gases resulting from combustion inside the devices (particle filters, catalysts), reducing only a small percentage.
Also known is a gas recirculation system resulting from combustion, called (EGR system), which consists of recirculating and re-burning gases resulting from combustion.
Of very recent incorporation there is a chemical compound based on urea, known under the trade name Ad-Blue®, which dosed, adds urea to the gases and causes them to react in the catalyst so that the nitrogen oxides are mainly transformed into nitrogen, water and CO2.
There are also chemical products (additives) on the market, which have a good degree of efficiency.
All the mentioned and known treatments or devices are based on the treatment of the resulting gases after combustion-explosion, understanding that it is not possible, or is not known, how to treat hydrocarbons before combustion to achieve a perfect combustion-explosion. .
Utility model ES1078834U, of the same inventor as the present application, describes a device for increasing the power of an engine, in particular for increasing the

power and to reduce the expulsion of pollutants from an internal combustion engine into the environment, according to the preamble of claim 1. However, in this device the activating or reactive element comprises ferrite and chlorinated polyethylene.
The need for a device that prepares hydrocarbons before combustion-explosion is evident, thus reducing the emissions of harmful gases, CO, NOX HC and PPM.
Description of the invention
With the device and the method of the invention, the aforementioned drawbacks are resolved, presenting other advantages that will be described below.
The device for reducing pollutant gas emissions according to the present invention comprises a body provided with a fuel inlet and a fuel outlet; and an activating element located inside said body and which is in contact with the fuel inside the body, and is characterized in that said activating element is formed by one or more blocks comprising ferric oxide.
Advantageously, said one or more blocks are of hematite, and in addition, said activating element comprises ferric oxide in a percentage of approximately 90%.
Although they can be placed in any suitable position, it is preferred that said block or blocks forming the activating element is placed internally next to the walls of said body, for example, on a support grid inside said body.
Preferably, the device according to the present invention also comprises an insulating sheet located between the walls of said body and said one or more blocks that form the activating element.
In addition, said fuel inlet or said fuel outlet may comprise a tube extending from one end of said body to substantially the opposite end.
According to two alternative embodiments, said fuel inlet and said outlet of

Fuel may be disposed at the same end of said body or at opposite ends of said body.
Preferably, said body comprises closing elements at its ends, placing sealing gaskets between the closing elements and the body, this aluminum body being able to be.
If desired, the device according to the present invention may comprise a copper spring located inside said body.
It should be noted that in the device of the present invention ferric oxide (hematite) is not an additive, and does not create any residue in fuel analysis.
The use of ferric oxide (hematite) as a hydrocarbon reagent achieves a perfect combustion-explosion and reduces pollutant emissions in engines and burners to the environment of harmful gases CO, NOX, HC and PPM.
Thanks to this characteristic, the reactive elements of ferric oxide (hematite), which are placed inside the body, allow the preparation of hydrocarbons so that combustion-explosion is carried out perfectly and the resulting gases are reduced to a greater extent combustion-explosion, CO, NOX, HC and PPM.
According to a second aspect, the process for the reduction of pollutant gas emissions is characterized in that it comprises contacting an activating element comprising ferric oxide with fuel, the catalyzing of said fuel being produced.
Advantageously, said activating element comprises hematite and said activating element comprises ferric oxide preferably in a percentage of approximately 90%.
In addition to the advantages indicated above, the hydrocarbon treatment of the present invention also provides the following advantages:
- Reduces solid PPM elements, expelled into the environment;
- reduces premature engine wear due to solid combustion residue

deposited in the lubricant;
- keeps the engine's anti-pollution system, the "EGR" gas recirculation valve, the catalyst and the particulate filter clean;
- prolongs the duration of lubricants inside the engine;
- reduces the smell of the gases expelled from the engines and burners; Y
- reduces engine vibrations.
Brief description of the drawings
For a better understanding of what has been exposed, some drawings are combined in which, schematically and only by way of non-limiting example, a practical case of realization is represented.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the device of the present exploded invention, according to a first embodiment.
Figure 2 is a perspective view of the upper and lower closure elements of the device of the present invention, according to a second embodiment.
Description of a preferred embodiment
As can be seen in Figure 1, the reducing treatment of pollutant emissions of CO, NOX, HC and PPM gases in hydrocarbons with ferric oxide (hematite) in the device according to the present invention is carried out inside a body 1, for example, a cylindrical aluminum body, provided with an inlet 2 and a fuel outlet 3.
Said fuel inlet 2 and outlet 3 may comprise nozzles, for example brass, and said inlet 2 is connected to a tube 7, for example of plastic, which extends longitudinally inside said body 1, from the end where said inlet 2 is located until substantially the other end. It should be noted, however, that said tube 7 could also be connected to the fuel outlet 3.

The present invention also comprises an activating element 4, for example, one or more blocks of ferric oxide (hematite), in a percentage of approximately 90%.
Said activator element 4 is mounted on a support grid 5, for example of stainless steel, and close to the inner walls of said body 1 by interposition of an insulating sheet 6, for example of filter paper.
As can be seen in the embodiment shown in Figure 1, as in this case the body 1 is a cylinder, the activator element 4 will be positioned defining a cylinder that substantially covers the entire interior surface of the body 1, as well as the support grid 5, insulating sheet 6 and a copper spring 11.
The ends of the body 1 are closed, according to the embodiment shown, by means of an upper closure element 8 and a lower closure element 9, by the interposition of two sealing gaskets 10 between the closure elements 8, 9 and the body 1. For example, said closure elements 8, 9 can be attached to the body 1 by means of threaded paths, although they could be joined in any suitable way, for example, by welding.
In this embodiment, the fuel inlet 2 and the outlet 3 are arranged in the upper closure element 8, as can be seen in Figure 1. However, if desired, as shown in the embodiment of the figure 2, the fuel inlet 2 may be located in the upper closure element 8 and the fuel outlet 3 may be located in the lower closure element 9.
It should be noted that the body 1 can be placed in any position where there is a fuel passage, for example, at the entrance or return of fuel in any type of combustion-explosion engine, or even inside the fuel tanks of combustion-explosion engines and burners.
The operation of the reducing device for polluting emissions of CO, NOX, HC and PPM gases, in hydrocarbons with ferric oxide, (hematite), of the present invention is as follows:
According to the procedure according to the present invention, when the fuel enters the body 1 of the present invention through its inlet 2, it enters
contact with the activating element 4, the catalyzing of said fuel is produced helping to accelerate the oxidation process producing a perfect combustion-explosion.
5 The description and composition of the blocks of ferric oxide (hematite) is as follows:
