Object of the invention
The object of the invention relates to a method for assembling / disassembling fixed pantalanes using a self-supporting floating structure that acts in the very near environment of the dock to be assembled / disassembled; so that it only requires separating the vessels a few meters from said environment without affecting the rest of the port.
The object of the invention also relates to the self-supporting floating structure used to assemble / disassemble fixed pantalanes according to said method.
Background of the invention
In the current state of the art the use of floating pontanas is known when required
carry out construction or maintenance works in the marine / port environment with the help of large machines (for example, to build bridges, docks, swamps or breakwaters, or to clean the bottom of ports or estuaries).
The floating pontonas, in general, are large vessels or platforms with a large load capacity on which, in turn, the aforementioned large machines can be arranged (which perform the work itself).
The industrial sector, or scope of application, of the object of this invention is the marine / port environment and, more specifically, when it is required to assemble / disassemble (build or tear down) fixed swamps in the ports.
Technical problem to solve
When it is required to mount fixed pantalanes (or disassemble fixed pantalanes built previously), in the current state of the art floating pontoons equipped with large cranes are used with which large modular portions or pieces of the fixed dock are mounted (or removed) ( modular portions or pieces that are usually 10/12 meters in length or more). It is indistinct for the purposes of the invention that these modular portions or pieces be prefabricated modules (assembled / disassembled together in situ ") or sections of concrete platforms, cut when demolishing the swamps to remove them or built in line when it is a new building them.
A technical problem posed is that when performing these tasks, a very wide environment is needed to locate the pontonas, which necessarily implies removing all vessels throughout the port or, at least, a very large area of it, where it goes To do the work.
On the other hand, these large pontoons are usually modular (they are built in several modules to solve the technical problems derived from the transport of exceptional convoys), so that the assembly / disassembly time needed to assemble and disassemble the pontoon "in situ" or pontonas used must be added to the duration of the
10 own work, everything that necessarily implies that the works area must be kept free of boats for a generally high period of time.
Description of the invention
The method object of the invention solves this problem because with its use it is only required, in case of dismantling constructed pantalanes, to separate a few meters the
15 dock boats to be dismantled; and in case of mounting new swamps, leave an environment of a few meters in the environment of the piles on which the platform that will constitute the dock will be mounted, without interfering at any time in the rest of the port. It is characterized because according to it:
a) at least one cable is provided in at least one side of the dock, to
20 provisional mooring of boats; This cable is connected by means of auxiliary structures to the piles on which the dock platform sits and separated a certain distance from said piles.
b) a floating structure is moved along the dock line, this floating structure consisting of a portico with means for successive mounting / dismounting
25 modular portions or pieces of the dock platform. The portico, in turn, escorts an auxiliary barge on which the modular portions or pieces of dismantled platform are deposited, or the modular portions or pieces of the platform to be mounted are stored;
c) the aforementioned certain distance that separates the provisional mooring cable and the piles is slightly greater than the width of the gantry floats that is part of the floating structure used;
d) the said auxiliary barge is escorted by the aforementioned porch; so that the self-supporting floating structure always acts as a single whole during the loading / unloading operations of the modular portions or pieces of the platform;
e) each auxiliary structure is tied to the mentioned piles and has a carrier buoy of at least one scarp to position the cable tie.
It is also characterized in that the floating structure used in accordance with the invention is self-supporting and includes, at a minimum:
- a portico that acts as a large catamaran whose sides, equipped with large floats, are related to each other by several bridge-structures in which beam-arms are arranged with at least two degrees of freedom to manipulate the modular portions or pieces of the dock platform to assemble / disassemble;
- an auxiliary barge located between the sides of the aforementioned porch. From this auxiliary barge emerges some overhangs in which the modular portions or pieces of the dismantled platform are supported to allow the entry / exit of the beam arms,
It is also characterized in that each bridge structure has a suspended stop to limit the angular travel of the corresponding beam arm in its closed position; and means for ascending / descending with respect to the gantry, said means being pairs of hydraulic cylinders.
It is also characterized in that each beam arm has means to rotate in a horizontal plane and around a column axis that joins it to its respective bridge structure; said means being connecting rods actuated by hydraulic cylinders.
It is also characterized in that the gantry has stops for positioning and guiding the auxiliary barge.
It is also characterized in that the said overhangs of the auxiliary barge have lateral guides for self-positioning in said recesses the modular portions or pieces of the dock platform to be assembled / disassembled.
Other configurations and advantages of the invention can be deduced from the following description, and from the dependent claims.

Detailed description of a preferred embodiment
An example of practical, non-limiting embodiment of the present invention is described below. Other embodiments in which accessory changes are introduced that do not distort its foundation are not ruled out at all.
The object of the invention relates to a method for assembling / disassembling fixed pantalanes using a self-supporting floating structure. It also refers to the self-supporting floating structure used in said method.
The recommended method requires having at least one cable (C) for temporary mooring of vessels (8). This cable (C) is arranged in relation to at least one side of the dock for which it uses auxiliary structures (E) attached to the piles (P1) on which the platform (P) sits.
It is indistinct for the purposes of the invention to have a single cable (C) or several aligned. It is also indistinct for the purposes of the invention to arrange cables (C) on one side or both sides, attached to the piles (P1) on which the platform (P) of the dock sits. One will be used
or several cables (C), and on one or both sides, depending on the position of the dock to assemble / disassemble in the port and according to the needs of each specific work.
The embodiment shown in the figures corresponds to the most general case: a long dock with cables (C) on both sides; said cables (C) being subject to several auxiliary structures (E). Any embodiments involving a mere variation in the number of cables (C) and / or auxiliary structures (E) employed, as well as different cable lengths (C) and / or different distribution of elements in the objects of the invention are included in the object of the invention. auxiliary structures (E) attached to the piles (P1).
In any case, according to the method object of the invention, using the auxiliary structures (E), each cable (C) is separated a certain distance (d) from said piles (P1) and, consequently, is also separated from the platform (P) delimiting water paths to one side of the cable (C): between the cable (C) and the dock itself. The boats (B) are provisionally tied to the cables (C) and all of them located to the other side of the cable (e).
In a subsequent phase, a floating structure (1) is moved along the dock line, this floating structure (1) consisting of a portico (1a) with floats (11) and means for mounting / dismounting successive modular portions or pieces of the dock platform (P).
The gantry (1a), in turn, escorts an auxiliary barge (1b) in which the modular portions or pieces of the dismantled platform (P) are deposited, or those that are to be mounted on the piles (P1) are stored. ).
The aforementioned certain distance (d) is slightly greater than the width of the floats (11) of the gantry (1a); so that it can move freely floating on the aforementioned waterways and without affecting the vessels (B) located on the other side of the cable (C), to which they are provisionally moored.
Said auxiliary barge (1b) is escorted by said portico (1a); so that the self-supporting floating structure (1) as a whole always acts as a single whole during the loading / unloading operations of the modular portions or pieces of the platform (P).
Each auxiliary structure (E) has a general configuration in "L" and is tied to the mentioned piles (P1). For the embodiment shown, it has a buoy (E1) carrying at least one scarp (E2) to hold the cable (C) positioned; mooring means (E3) for fixing to the piles (P1); and a counterweight (E4) to balance / stabilize the assembly.
Preferably, two scarps (E2) are used for each buoy (E1); so that the buoy (E1) also acts simultaneously to splice cables (C) in case greater lengths of use are required. If no connection of two consecutive cables (C) in a buoy (E1) is required, it is enough to crimp the same cable (C) in both scarps (E2), or only in one of them if it is a beginning or end of cables (C).
Once the assembly works of the new platform (P) of the dock are finished, according to this method the cables (C) and their supporting structures (E) are removed, returning the vessels (B) to be moored directly to the platform (P ) of the dock using its own mooring solutions (known).
The self-supporting floating structure employed in the described method is also the subject of the invention. It consists of, at least, a portico (1a) that acts as a large catamaran whose sides, provided with large floats (11), are interrelated by several bridge structures (12) in which beam arms are arranged (13) with at least two degrees of freedom to manipulate the modular portions or pieces of platform (P) to be assembled / disassembled.
It also consists of an auxiliary barge (1b) located between the sides of the aforementioned porch (1a), from which some overhangs (21) emerge on which the modular portions or pieces of platform (P) are removed to allow entry / beam-beam exit (13). These recalces
(21) they have lateral guides (211) to auto-position in them the modular portions or pieces of platform (P) to be assembled / disassembled.
Each bridge structure (12) has means for ascending / descending with respect to the porch (1a). For the embodiment shown, said means are pairs of hydraulic cylinders (12a) located in their lateral columns and operated with an independent handling system, whose hydraulic power plant is located within the floats themselves (11). Said bridge structure (12) has a suspended stop (12b), close to one of its sides to limit the angular travel of the beam arm (13) in its closed position.
Each beam arm (13) has means for rotating with respect to its respective bridge structure (12), in a horizontal plane and around a column axis (13a) that joins it to the respective bridge structure (12) by one of its ends For the embodiment shown, said means are connecting rods (13b) actuated by hydraulic cylinders (131 b) whose hydraulic power station is located inside
5 of the fixtures themselves (11).
With this structuring, components and particularities, to transport the modular portions or pieces of platform (P), these are suspended on the beam arms (13), these being in a closed position and the bridge structures (12) being elevated with respect to the piles (P1) and, where appropriate, also with respect to the rest of the dock;
10 To load the modular portions or pieces of platform (P) on the auxiliary barge (1 b), or place them on the piles (P1), it is first necessary to place them suspended on the corresponding place and then, successively lower the bridge structures (12 ) and open the beam arms (13).
In the gantry (1a) there are also stops (14) for positioning and guiding the auxiliary barge (1b); safety railings (15); and winches (16) for movement of the assembly.
The materials, dimensions, proportions and, in general, those other accessory or secondary details that do not alter, change or modify the proposed essentiality may be variable.
20 The terms in which this report is written are true and faithful reflection of the object described, and should be taken in its broadest sense and never in a limited way.
